Seacastles Resort

The staff was nice and the location is perfect. However, the property is run down. The pool and hot tub are super dingy. Our room had a gross moldy window and overall needed tlc. For $450 a night I expect more.

The room was very clean and had the necessary amenities. The grounds, including the enclosed pool and hot tub, were well kept up.

The room was very nice with a lot of amenities. However, though the indoor pool was clean, it needed updating.

Walking distance to everything, nice indoor pool and beautiful gardens.

A swimming pool and jacuzzi right in front of my room during winter and a hop away from the beach and a few great restaurants a stone’s throw away! Not a human being in sight.

If looking for ocean view get 2nd floor…first floor has to look through smudgy windows and glas partitions that are coated in salt, leaving you with no view.. Check-in overcharged us but then fixed it. Couldn’t stay in main building and had to use a stairwell filled with warm chlorine pool air. We have stayed here many times and love it….great resort feeling and indoor restaurant…. But this time it was hard to love

Over $500 a night and check in until 4 and out by 10 totally unreasonable! Staff were good , cleanliness of room good, pool was in need of new furniture and chemicals were over powering. Parking decal said checkout 11 and staff said 10 I know it’s the busy season but value for dollar was more than disappointing

People little spot close to town and right across the street from the Marginal Way access. Within walking distance to the beach, downtown shops, and restaurants. The grounds at the resort were beautiful and so well maintained. The rooms were perfect for a little costal town, spacious, and open. Very clean, very quiet. Pool and jacuzzi were great. Will definitely be staying here again.

Weather was terrible. The property was amazing, it had everything we needed and more. The property was spotless and very well cared for. The staff was very friendly and the service went above and beyond! The pool and hot tub we had to our selves every night was an amazing trip! Thank you Seacastles we will be back!

The room was very clean. The staff were nice and it was a great place to put a little motel. It was a nice cozy little stay for the night the area around it was super pretty and we just enjoyed a little stay for the night 💜 Thank you, staff

We enjoyed our time in Ogunquit during the fall season with all the decorations throughout town. We had a convenient 1st floor studio that was very clean. The bathroom was very small and the people upstairs from us were very heavy footed.

Room and area were great however, the housekeeping may have been short staffed during our stay. In the 4 days we stayed housekeeping skipped our room every day. Even when we saw them in our building and explained we would leave so they could replace our towels, they still skipped our room

It is a cute place and the location is amazing. Easy walk to everything,food,stores and the ocean. Upon checking in we noticed a lot of "dirt" on the floor in the bathroom. The sink, toilet and tub were clean so that's a plus. The sliding door over one side of the balcony doors on one side was very difficult to open and close. We could not close one side all the way but it was enough to block out most of the window. If you are planning on working from your room at any time then don't book there. The internet connection was horrible. We couldn't stay connected for any length of time and sometimes could not even connect. When we called the office they told us it was because of the weather. The following 2 days the weather was fine and we still had the same issue.

The hotel is very close to restaurants and shopping. The Marginal Way entrance is directly across the street from the hotel. We loved the size of our room and private porch. Housekeeping never came until we requested it twice.

We liked the setup of our room. The location of the property was excellent. We would have liked someone to clean our room after the first day of our stay. They provided fresh towels when we asked.

Seacastles enjoys a near-perfect location in Ogunquit, right across the street from the entrance to the Marginal Way. All the restaurants and shops in the village are in easy walking distance. My room, on the second floor, was spacious and very clean, and the bed was really comfortable.i appreciated the great lighting in the bathroom, and electrical outlets were plentiful and well-placed. It also had a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave, coffee maker and 2-burner cooktop, along with glassware, dishes and silverware.

Everything was lovely. My one suggestion would be to replace the pullout couch with something more comfortable for sleeping. It was very uncomfortable to sleep on.

Quite blown away by how beautiful and updated the room was. Centrally located in downtown Ogunquit and right at the beginning of the Marginal Way. Couldn’t ask for a better location or nicer room. I would definitely come back.

The beds are very hard and pillows are so firm and have no give. The heat/ac is so loud.the hot water took 5 minutes to get to the faucet in the bathroom and was not that warm in the shower. You could hear every time someone around you turned on there water. Just not a restful environment . Dining table was very unsteady and afraid to place anything on it.

Room was clean. Nobody came in to the room every day, but if you needed towels or anything else they were helpful. Walls are not insulated and you can hear everything from above and next door. Bathroom was small. Other than people with heavy feet above us, our stay was good. I wouldn’t stay here in the summer because I think it would be very noisy! It was off season so it was quiet. Location is good. Close to everything.

Stayed in a rennovated room. Great condition, excellent location. Very nice place.

We had a lower level room with no ocean view. The air conditioner was very noisy. The bathtub could use replacing. The newer units did look much better. I would recommend paying for a better room. It is in an ideal location for walking to town and the marginal way

Nice location. It needs updating for the money they charge. The mattress was tired.

We booked two nights for a Valentine's Day getaway. We got a few emails in advance of our arrival telling us about check in, saying in particular that "after hours" we would check in at their sister resort which was maybe a mile down the road. We arrived at 4:01 p.m. (check in starts at 4:00) to a locked office, empty parking lot. The place was deserted. I called and was told to check in at the sister resort, the Norseman. We got back in the car, got a little lost, found the Norseman and got checked in. Drove back to Seacastle. Like I said, the place looked deserted. So why in the world did they put us in a room that looked out on the parking lot in the front, and a narrow alley with another buidling right outside in the back? if we craned our necks, we could see a little bit of a pretty view. But I just don't understand why, with two buildings and many floors to choose from, why would you put your guests in that room. It was not a happy beginning to our getaway. But whatever. it was fine. Another thing to be aware of, though, especially in the winter: the pool is in a separate bulding - so you have to go outside, walk across the parking lot, behind the main building, follow a little maze like path, and you'll find it. Just means you're going to be very cold going to and from in February. But the pool itself was nice. Over all not a bad place but I just can't help wondering how much nicer it would have been to have windows that at least looked out over something nice.

The office wasn’t opened yet so we had to go down to the Norseman to check in. Other than that, the weekend was wonderful! Beautiful views from the balcony!!

our favorite but when they say open year round they don’t mean it… last wkend office closed … keys at a place 5 min away.. no one even apologized

Such a great stay! Convenient walking to town for food/shopping! Love that it’s close to the marginal walkway. Will definitely be staying here again!

This property is uniquely positioned. It is close enough to downtown to make walking to shops and restaurants easy but far enough away so you don’t listen to the hustle and bustle from the street. Very short walk to the beach or the walkway to Perkins Cove. Definitely will try to stay there again the next time we go to Ogunquit

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!!!!!!!! Right across the street from the begininning of the marginal way, where you can walk, sit on benches and get to perkins cove without worrying about parking. Best of all right down the block from the restaurants and Frontporch !!!! We have found a great spot for all 4r seasons.
