Venlig betjening, og intet at klage over, hvad hotellet angår. Men prisen som jeg kom til at betale er for høj i forhold til det man får. Jeg bookede til en fordelagtig pris, men hotels.com tog mine cashpoints således, at bookingen blev 3 x højere end det jeg bestemt mente jeg bookede til. Og den pris, som jeg mente jeg bookede til, lå på niveau med andre tilsvarende hoteller. Hvad der gik galt fik vi aldrig opklaret. Men en ting er sikkert, at jeg ville aldrig booke dette eller tilsvarende hoteller til den pris, som jeg kom til at betale.

We stayed at The Samui Beach Resort from 30 July, and unfortunately the hotel did not live up to the description and photos shown on Hotels.com. After our first night, we paid to upgrade our room, which improved our stay. However, our overall impression is that the property appears to be in decline rather than being maintained to the standard presented online. The hotel has potential, but the maintenance is below expectations. Several areas are worn down, some facilities are not in good condition, and there is no usable beach area directly in front of the hotel where guests can relax. The pool bar shown in the listing is closed or no longer exists. The breakfast was particularly disappointing. The quality was extremely poor and far below what most travellers would reasonably expect from a hotel breakfast. The selection was very limited, and the overall standard did not reflect the quality advertised. Another inconvenience is that it is difficult to buy drinks at the hotel. There is no operating bar, and despite the room description stating that a minibar is provided, our room did not have one. This means guests have very limited options for purchasing refreshments without leaving the property. I would like to stress that this is not a criticism of the staff. They are genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which is the hotel’s biggest strength. The main issue is that the photos and description on Hotels.com do not accurately reflect the current conditon

The pictures on Hotels.com must be at least 20 years old — the place doesn’t look like that anymore. It’s run-down, many facilities are permanently closed, the mattresses are worn, and the towels were full of holes and very worn. Overall it’s a hotel that clearly shows nothing has been updated or renovated for many years. It would go that fare and say that the pictures are a scam! The air conditioning was also terrible — it only had two settings: off or on. When it was on, it blasted full-power cold air, making the room freezing, and it was very noisy. That said, the location was good and the beach was okay, although the sun loungers and umbrellas were worn. We didn’t try the breakfast because it only opens at 8:30, and the “kitchen” didn’t look particularly appetizing either.

Ved ankomst møtte vi et hyggelig og service innstilt personale som tok oss godt i mot. Rommet var rent og ryddig og helt perfekt for oss som et par. Vi hadde rom ved basseng og dette var helt ypperlig. Bassenget var rent og helt nydelig å bruke morgen/ kvelden i, Hotellet ligger rett ved stranden, eller på stranden om du vil, noe som er helt fantastisk. Vi fikk både basseng og strand i ett. Hotellområdet er noe som passet passet oss veldig. Vi liker litt liv, men rolig på kveldene. I dette området er det rolig på kvelden, men ikke langt til mer natteliv om man ønsker det. Jeg ville anbefalt familier og par dette hotellet!

Non je n’avais pas vue sur l’océan, l’hôtel avait l’air en travaux, en tout cas j’étais le seul client, je n’arrivais pas à croire que cet soit proposé pas Hôtel.com, le petit déjeuner c’était une tasse de café, une assiette avec un œuf au plat, un morceau de pain de mie. J’ai réservé et payé pour 3 nuit avec petit déjeuner, j’ai dut quitter l’hôtel après la première nuit, j’ai beaucoup voyage je crois que c’est ma pire expérience.
