The room was clean, contemporary, and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. We especially appreciated the pool and lounge with all the seating, bars, and firepits, which made us feel as if we were at a resort. We didn't use the breakfast service as we weren't sure how it worked and chose other options.

Sadly we had a very disappointing experience at the Kiwi. We were so looking forward to accessing the amazing amenities ie. pool/hot tub/fire pit but unfortunately the entire backyard area was locked up at 7pm and not open again until 9:15 am the next day, just before we left at 9:45. Nowhere on the Expedia website did it indicate the very limited hours. We reached out to the hotel manager to discuss our disappointing stay but they did not respond. I would not recommend this motel.

Awesome spot, very clean and very nice and has great amenities like pool, hot tub, beach volleyball, etc. Only complaint I would make is that they close pool, hot tub, fire pit at the back and backyard too early.

I can't say enough about how lovely this property and its staff are. My 7-yr old son and I stayed at the Kiwi for 3 nights/4 days and we had so much fun. The property has been beautifully renovated with an awesome pool area, patio cafe, and a backyard with lounge chairs, games, bbq and fire pits. Pinery Provincial Park is a short 10-min drive away. Grand Bend beach is within walking distance, and the main strip has a very fun and relaxed beach town vibe. We didn't want to leave and we will be coming back!

The Kiwi Motel is super cute! Would be great in the summer ( we went in February) as an option. We were excited to use the hot tub, but it was like warm, the jets weren’t really working and the water was cloudy. Our room was very nice and cozy. LOVED the fireplace. Only complaint about the room was the bed was very creaky, so as you turn over at night it makes a lot of noise and that there was no microwave. Overall I joyed our night at the Kiwi. I’d be curious to see what it’s like during the summer!

We really enjoyed staying at the Kiwi Motel. It is within walking distance to the beach. The amenities were amazing ie. the pool/hot tub/fire pits. The girls taking care of the motel and rooms were so friendly and so helpful. They always had a smile on their face. We stayed for 3 days and it was so chill, best get away ever!!

This motel was very conveniently located close to the Grand Bend strip. There was a plaza across the street that had an LCBO, Shoppers, and Sobeys that we could walk to. The staff were pleasant but the service wasn’t great. The Queen rooms were very small, and the layout was difficult to manoeuvre with luggage. Our room was very dirty and the air conditioning didn’t work very well. We had to asked the front desk to fix it at least 3 times. The pool was broken for most of our stay and we stayed 3 nights. Overall, it’s very well decorated but I would skip this one.

If i could rate this 0 I would. We booked this motel because it was freshly renovated. Checked in at 4pm and then went to the beach and had dinner. We got back to the motel at 9:15 pm and went to go sit in bed. We found blood on 2 of the pillows and on the blanket. Keep in mind we have not sat in the bed yet. We go to the front desk and no one is there. We email and call their emergency line and no one picks up. We ended up sleeping in our cars because it was evident the sheets were not washed. Upon the manager coming in at 9am the next day, they state they did not receive any emails or calls. We show them proof and they brush it off. The owner then comes in closer to 10AM and after arguing tells us that she will provide us with a full refund. It has been 2 weeks and no refund has been provided. We have called multiple tiimes and everyone they do not answer or hang up. Avoid this place at all costs. The floors were covered in sand, sheets unwashed, bathroom sink dirty and the bathroom door did not close.

Super disappointed. Wanted to love but we had to leave because it was very dirty and not up to any standard and we were promised a refund by the manager Melissa. They haven’t followed up. I called and was told to email them to remind them of the incident and never heard back, it has been over a month and a half!

The Kiwi Motel was lovely! The room was very nice. Spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. The young folks on staff were awesome ! Very friendly and very helpful. The pool area was nice with comfortable lounge chairs towels supplied and there was a lovely area to relax and enjoy outside. Will definitely go back

The vibe was cute and relaxed when we got there. Upon check in, the room cleanliness wasn't the greatest. There was hair on the bed and clumps of it under the bed. We also had to signal that we were missing towels and then wait for fresh towels to be cleaned. Also, we were provided a towel as a door mat as the one for our unit was hanging over the banister and wasn't even clean. Lastly, the door itself to the unit wouldn't close properly without stamming it into the door jam. The overall space was a cute and kitchy vibe but was grossly overpriced for the vibe it's trying to create. Was disappointed for all the tiktok hype for this cute little place.

I stayed one night in the King Mango/Papaya room and really wanted to love this place, but I left disappointed, especially for the price. Pros: • The grounds are nicely landscaped and the pool area looks inviting. • The décor shows effort in trying to make the space stylish. Cons: • The mattress was sunken in the middle and uncomfortable, with rough linens and very thin pillows that made for a poor night’s sleep. • The blackout blinds didn’t fully block light, so the room stayed bright from streetlights. To make matters worse, the TV turned on by itself in the middle of the night. • Very minimal in-room amenities — no noticeable Wi-Fi and only a small amount of coffee/tea. • The pool has no privacy from the active construction site right next door. Noise was an issue, and once building progresses it will likely be worse. Overall, this motel looks appealing at first glance, but the basics of comfort and value just aren’t there. Unfortunately, it wasn’t worth the money and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Wanted to like the Kiwi Motel, but ended up being a case of “putting lipstick on a pig” so to speak. Just because you paint everything white, add beach design details and make it look good for the socials, doesn’t make it worth almost $500/night. The bed in room 1 was soft, squeaky and the duvet cover had a blood stain on it. The pool was 3/4 full and surrounding area looked like it was minimally maintained.

The Kiwi was a cool place to stay. Rooms were well set up and clean. Veronica at the front desk was an amazing host. Hot tub was dialed in, too! Everything on the Grand Bend strip was within walking distance and there were plenty of amenities close by. We did have one fairly major problem - the room we stayed in had an intermittent sound emanating from somewhere (we thought maybe the heating/cooling unit) that kept us up pretty much the whole night! We let the front desk know, and hopefully, it will be addressed. All in all, we would go back again!

Room clean and comfortable. Very squeaky bed. Coffee and tea provided with fresh cream in refrigerator however coffee machine didn't work. Nearby Timmys got our business. Drinks by pool are overpriced. Good location.

We had a fantastic stay at the Kiwi. The rooms aren't large but very functional and well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable. We took full advantage of the pool and hot tub. There is a huge outdoor area with a bar, firepits and games at the back and a small patio at the front to sit and enjoy some music while having a drink. The staff were great, very friendly and accommodating. The motel is just one block away from the main drag so it's an easy walk to everything. I will definately stay here whenever I am in Grand Bend.

Whoever designed the rooms did a very nice job--it feels fresh and delightful. The bed was comfortable, and most everything works well (e.g., hot water gets to the shower quickly). Just a couple things that were a bit less than stellar. The main window could use a blackout curtain--especially since there are lights in the soffit right outside the room. The tv kept "crashing" forcing me to start over from the beginning. The chair is cute but not very lovely to sit in. But all in all, it was great. I think it's really sweet that a motel I'm guessing was built in the 1950s or 1960s could be updated so stunningly. Kudos. Would stay again.

The motel is very nice. It’s an old motel that has been renovated. The room is compact, but was comfortable the updates are very nice. I would recommend it and would stay again.

Couldn't even check in, called all the numbers that were provided one was disconnected, one didn't even exist and the others went straight to voicemail. Arrived at 6:30pm open sign was on, said there lobby was open and staffed until 8pm. Absolutely poor waste of money, had to go elsewhere to spend the night.

Super disappointed. Wanted to love but we had to leave because it was very dirty and not up to any standard and we were promised a refund by the manager Melissa. They haven’t followed up. I called and was told to email them to remind them of the incident and never heard back, it has been over a month and a half!

It’s horrible motel. Staff is not there at all. They haven’t given us bathroom tissue as well as extra towels for swimming pool. I will not prefer this motel

Everything was perfect as usual! The staff members are always so friendly and accommodating. There were many restaurant options even during the winter. Will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Kiwi Motel! Everything was super cute and the staff were more than amazing. We had the sliders and Mediterranean flatbread and both were incredible. The kiwi salsa was also amazing. There was a 90s party happening on the weekend and the music was fantastic, so was the service from all of the staff. Everyone took such great care of us. We will definitely come back!

We really enjoyed staying at the Kiwi Motel. It is within walking distance to the beach. The amenities were amazing ie. the pool/hot tub/fire pits. The girls taking care of the motel and rooms were so friendly and so helpful. They always had a smile on their face. We stayed for 3 days and it was so chill, best get away ever!!

This motel was very conveniently located close to the Grand Bend strip. There was a plaza across the street that had an LCBO, Shoppers, and Sobeys that we could walk to. The staff were pleasant but the service wasn’t great. The Queen rooms were very small, and the layout was difficult to manoeuvre with luggage. Our room was very dirty and the air conditioning didn’t work very well. We had to asked the front desk to fix it at least 3 times. The pool was broken for most of our stay and we stayed 3 nights. Overall, it’s very well decorated but I would skip this one.

We loved this cute motel right in grand bend ! It was super close to the main shopping and restaurants. It’s so cute! My only downfall is that it’s on a road that is sort of busy and next to some buildings that just doesn’t make it feel as quaint and quiet as you’d expect. Other than that, it’s wonderful!

We loved the Kiwi! Perfectly located, easy walk to grand bend beach. Super clean, cute pool - a mini "miami beach" vibe with sweet umbrellas and neon signs. Family friendly, walkable to grocery store. Highly recommend.

The room is clean and tidy. But not to expect a luxury resort type experience. The pool is quite small, it’s just for fun only. Location is good, walking distance to the beach.

We had a fantastic stay at the Kiwi. The rooms aren't large but very functional and well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable. We took full advantage of the pool and hot tub. There is a huge outdoor area with a bar, firepits and games at the back and a small patio at the front to sit and enjoy some music while having a drink. The staff were great, very friendly and accommodating. The motel is just one block away from the main drag so it's an easy walk to everything. I will definately stay here whenever I am in Grand Bend.

Good location walking distance to LCBO, Sobeys, Dollartree, McDonalds, Tim Hortons, beach, plenty of restaurants, cute shops along the way to the beach. No need to take your car and pay parking.

The room was clean, contemporary, and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. We especially appreciated the pool and lounge with all the seating, bars, and firepits, which made us feel as if we were at a resort. We didn't use the breakfast service as we weren't sure how it worked and chose other options.

We had a lovely stay. Room was clean and nice and bright. Walkable to everything. Highway girl cafe great for breakfast in the morning. In room coffee was super! They were in the process of getting bar/drinks setup

The Kiwi Motel was super convenient to walk to town. The main lobby offered fun drinks for purchase and the staff was very friendly however, the lobby closed to early. Would of been nice if they offered separate beach towels for the pool/hot tub and the water for a bath/shower did not get warm-hot temperatures at all.

Room clean and comfortable. Very squeaky bed. Coffee and tea provided with fresh cream in refrigerator however coffee machine didn't work. Nearby Timmys got our business. Drinks by pool are overpriced. Good location.

Nice hotel area outside. The pool area is still under construction. They overcharge for the wine that they sold to take back to the room after the liquor store closes I was not happy to see the invoice from the hotel was substantially less than what I was charged by Expedia. Why is that?

We were abruptly woken up at 830am to the grass being cut outside of our window. This went on for about 45 minutes and there was no chance of us sleeping again after all of the noise. The pool bar never opened at all.

Was better than I expected. Rooms were incredibly comfortable, easy to check in. The little pool was perfect for a mid day dip, and the cozy fire pits were a nice touch to unwind after dinner. Staff were incredibly courteous and helpful. We walked up and down the main tourist strip from our location with ease. Didn’t need our car at all. Would stay here again

Check in was terrible. I had messaged them that we were coming from Australia and that we would be arriving late. When we arrived there was a note on the front door of reception to call this number after hours. We called that number at least 12 times.finally we found another place to stay the night around 0130! When I started calling that same number the next morning there was o answer until 0930! The guy at reception shrugged and said they were not available after 2100! We finally got into our room on august 3rd. It has to be the smallest hotel/motel room we have ever seen. And only a double bed which took up half the room. The bathroom was nice and spacious. We did not get our bed changed until day 5. I had to keep asking the staff for towels, coffee etc. We got the towels and coffee, but no cream, no extra shampoo nd no toilet paper. Luckily shoppers was close so we walked over and bough our own toilet paper and shampoo The only positive mark for this motel was that it was close to downtown and all the restaurants and shopping. We will never stay there again!
