Jemsty Inn Hakone Ashinoko

Cet hébergement compte quatre chambres à l'étage. La mienne était propre mais vieillotte (avec 2 lits simples + 1 lit plié contre le mur). Le confort est minimal, la salle de bain n'a aucun chauffage. L'établissement était fermé (non accessible pour les clients) entre 11h et 15h, et on est loin des lieux animés de Hakone. Le propriétaire donne volontiers des conseils. Globalement, je trouve que le prix est très élevé pour la prestation fournie.

Staff was amazing and so helpful. Our room was clean and the meals were excellent. The location is also excellent - perfect for boarding the pirate sightseeing cruise and the bus stop is across the street. Quiet and lovely!

Convenient location (right next to the bus stop and sightseeing cruise departure), Mac the host was friendly and very helpful and spoke good English.

MaC was amazing as a host. We loved his hospitality, friendless and advice. His accomodations were simple, clean and sufficient for our 1 night stay. Breakfast was yummy. Thank you MaC!

A very personal, family-run place with exceptionally kind owners who really go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and included. The host is chatty, speaks good English, and even took everyone out in the morning to see a great view of Mount Fuji — a lovely gesture, though maybe a bit much if you prefer privacy or a quieter stay. The property itself is older and simple, with limited amenities, and the meals were fine but basic. Overall a friendly and memorable experience, but probably better suited for travelers who enjoy social, home-style lodging rather than a more traditional hotel setup.
