This was a brief, 5 day stop over before going onto Bahrain. Check in was smooth, but came as a surprise I was in annex across the fairly busy road from main hotel. Front desk helped me with luggage which was necessary. And all staff were extremely welcoming and helpful e.g. printing travel docs, advice on area. My room was a good size, and I loved the bathroom which came with a walk in multi jet shower. Bed was comfortable and AC worked well. My rate included breakfast but some days I just settled for a muffin in my room rather than go to main building. I had hoped for a massage but was advised Spa closed, but they recommended another nearby. Location wise this was great, huge choice of places to eat, can recommend nearby Thai, the Indian cafe not so much. Places of interest e.g. Agora easy walk, as was Metro, main square. Nice park within walking distance.

Everything about our stay was great. The staff were friendly and the room was super clean and spacious. The included breakfast was well appointed and delicious. Would have liked it if there was an iron/board and a way to get ice for the room but besides those two things, we have no complaints. Would definitely stay here again.

the Lotus Inn is a very Central Located Hotel and all "must see" locations are in walking distance. The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The only draw back is there is a Lotus Inn Hotel and there is a Lotus Inn dépendance across the street. So if you book a room with Acropolis view you may get a room in the dépendance which has nothing to do with the pictures you may see in Expedia. Never the less the rooms are great and clean and Central. Please keep in mind the Lotus Inn is at a main street, so it will not be really quiet.

This was a one-night stay. Room was clean and a good size with balcony. Comfy bed. Friendly staff. Great location, walking distance to Monastiraki Square and Flea Market as well as tons of restaurants. My only complaint was the hot water. Our room had a small water heater that needed to be manually turned on 15 minutes before you planned on taking a shower and would run out of hot water very quickly.

The place and the tub was really awesome, but we got a lot of bugbites staying. I got around 10-20 after staying for 3 days. I was really worried about bed bugs and discovered a review that had been posted on trip advisor a month earlier where guests found many bedbugs crawling 😭 and also got a lot of bites. I’m terrified of having taken them home with me

A due passi dalla fermata Monastiraki, l’hotel si trova in un ottimo punto per poter visitare Atene. La zona è sempre viva, piena di negozi e anche di locali dove passare la serata. L’Hotel è pulito, stanze spaziose e personale davvero gentile. Buona anche la colazione sia dolce che salata.

A small and nice hotel in the city centre of Athens. The hotel is divided in two diffrent buildings and we stayed in the building on the opposite side of the street compared to the reception. The room was newly repainted and it was nice and clean. For being in the city center we found it rather quiet, eventhough there were some noice from the traffic outside.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Hotel was a quick walk to Monastiraki Square and blue metro line. Room was nice and quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

Otroligt trevligt hotell med perfekt läge i Aten, närheten till Monastiraki, Plaka och massor med med restauranger. Vi bodde i Suite 401, egen terass och hiss direkt till rummet. Extra plus för bubbelpoolen på terassen. Personalen tog väl hand om oss.

great location at the beginning of the all the walkable things. pretty much walk in one direction everyday. we were in the jr suite, spacious fir 3 of us with really nice outdoor space!

We had view of the Parthenon and it was amazing to see during day or night!! Only issue was that the curtains did not block out the street light at night.

The room was very nice, we even had a view of the Acropolis! The people at the hotel were very kind and allowed us to store luggage with them both before check in and after check out. Also, the included breakfast was great. I'd absolutely stay here again if I came back to Athens.

Excellent location, professional staff. From the receptionist to the cleaning staff. location is perfect train statio. 1 min walking distance will take you to the airport for €9 dont need to catch taxi! I LOVED It. Restaurants so many! On the road and literally walking distance to all of the top attractions.

Hotellet ligger lige i byens hjerte, og den centrale beliggenhed gør det nemt at se Athens seværdigheder i centrum. Meget tæt på Monastiraki metrostation hvilket gør det let at komme ud til fjernere liggende destinationer. Meget hjælpsomt personale og skøn morgenmad. Dejligt værelse - mit havde egen balkon med sol og udsigt over Ermou. Jeg vender meget gerne tilbage til Lotus Inn.

Hotellet ligger lige i byens hjerte, og den centrale beliggenhed gør det nemt at se Athens seværdigheder i centrum. Meget tæt på Monastiraki metrostation hvilket gør det let at komme ud til fjernere liggende destinationer. Meget hjælpsomt personale og skøn morgenmad. Dejligt værelse - mit havde egen balkon med sol og udsigt over Ermou. Jeg vender meget gerne tilbage til Lotus Inn.

The property was okay just not as displayed online. We originally chose this hotel because we thought we were paying for the view of the acropolis and the location but we were actually on the other building that did not have the best view of the acropolis. In addition to this… there’s SO much construction right in front of the hotel and you can not even cross the sidewalk.

A due passi dalla fermata Monastiraki, l’hotel si trova in un ottimo punto per poter visitare Atene. La zona è sempre viva, piena di negozi e anche di locali dove passare la serata. L’Hotel è pulito, stanze spaziose e personale davvero gentile. Buona anche la colazione sia dolce che salata.

Hotellet ligger lige i byens hjerte, og den centrale beliggenhed gør det nemt at se Athens seværdigheder i centrum. Meget tæt på Monastiraki metrostation hvilket gør det let at komme ud til fjernere liggende destinationer. Meget hjælpsomt personale og skøn morgenmad. Dejligt værelse - mit havde egen balkon med sol og udsigt over Ermou. Jeg vender meget gerne tilbage til Lotus Inn.

Everything about our stay was great. The staff were friendly and the room was super clean and spacious. The included breakfast was well appointed and delicious. Would have liked it if there was an iron/board and a way to get ice for the room but besides those two things, we have no complaints. Would definitely stay here again.

Gute Lage. Frühstücken mit herrlicher Aussicht. Auf Anfragen (Flughafentransfer) nach Buchung wurde nicht reagiert. Heizen mit Klimaanlage war nicht möglich.

Wakker wirden met zicht op de Akropolis. Alles is op wandelafstand. Je moet zelfs geen metroticket voorzien. Enkel om naar de luchthaven te rijden. Ruim en voldoende lekker ontbijt. Vooral het vriendelijke en behulpzaam personeel valt op in heel Athene. Tot 1u s nachts hoor je de ambiance van de rooftops maar je kan toch goed slapen.

The room was very nice, we even had a view of the Acropolis! The people at the hotel were very kind and allowed us to store luggage with them both before check in and after check out. Also, the included breakfast was great. I'd absolutely stay here again if I came back to Athens.

Fint hotel, og centralt beliggende. I gåafstand til mange seværdigheder, bla. Akropolis. Fin service i receptionen fra Maria og Christos :-). Fin morgenmad uden at være prangende. Reception på den anden side af vejen. Vi valgte værelse med udsigt til Akropolis og det var rigtig fint.

Bra med utrymme på rummen. Mörkläggningsgardiner var inte så märka som man önskade. Rent, bra frukost, dock fick man vänta på bord, då det inte fanns många sittplatser inne i matsalen.

The air conditioner was not working properly so it was very hot in our room. The staff kept saying that it felt cool to them so they wouldn’t do anything to help. It was cooler than outside but not cool enough to sleep. By the last night it was finally fixed after complaining over and over and over again

Severe health and hygiene issues - confirmed bedbugs. We experienced a severe hygiene issue during our stay at this property. Within the first 48 hours, my husband began developing severe bite marks. We notified the front desk immediately to request a deep clean and fresh bedding, but the issue was dismissed as local outdoor bug bites. Despite thoroughly checking the room initially and finding nothing, we later discovered a dead bedbug under the covers. We have photographic documentation of both the insect and the daily bite patterns. Other guests have noted similar experiences in past reviews. Travelers should exercise caution when booking this location.
