Novotel hotel is a nice hotel, but the surroundings was not great, abandon buildings, just looked runned down. We ordered a family suite, and got two connecting ordinary rooms, which in my opinion is not a suite. Hotel staff was amazing, smiling helpful, even a concierge how went around checking that everybody had a good time. The pool was located under a roof, so that the sun could not warm it up, the pool where there for some what cold. Fitness room was small, but had everything you need for a good work out, unfortunately if you work out around 7 am, the water bottle in the room which are free will be warm, at least that was my experience. The breakfast buffet was great had, nice fruit and hot meals.

Great location a short 15 minute walk from Old Town. Very helpful tourist desk. Phenomenal breakfast selection including local cuisine, low fat / healthy options and soya milk for people with dietary needs. Diverse, air conditioned fitness centre.

The exterior and the lobby look great. Not to mention our room was upgraded upon arrival and there was a nice warm welcoming inside the room. One of the two elevators was out of service which was kind of a drag since we were on floor 11. The room had some things about it that were unpleasant to the eyes. A few stains on the chairs and some on the walls. The bathroom was great and overall the room stay was good.

A special thanks to Gift for making our stay truly wonderful. She greeted us with professionalism and genuine friendliness and met all our expectations. The hotel is absolutely lovely, and the rooftop bar deserves special mention for its fantastic drinks. We really enjoyed the calm area where the hotel is located—peaceful yet still within walking distance of Phuket Old Town. We recommend staying here for about a week and then continuing on to a beach resort, as the best beaches in Phuket are quite far from this location. That said, don’t miss out on this hotel, it’s fantastic, and we will certainly return.

Showed me 3 different rooms and each one had a horrible smell in them. The lift is in major need of renovation too, the reception area is the best bit about the hotel. I refused to stay and argued them into a refund and moved to Ramada up the road.

Good points - reception and dining hall were beautiful. Room was fair but showing signs of wear and tear and could have done with a proper deep clean. Pool area was disappointing and would benefit from a bit of staging. The areas between the lifts and the rooms were nothing short of bleak and really need some art/plants , general dressing. We booked two nights here via Expedia for two adults and a 14 year old and specified her age. On arrival our room had one king size bed which all three of us were expected to sleep in. The hotel were going to charge us extra to put another bed in the room but it would have been too cramped so we ended up booking another adjoining room. The hotel is okay for the price and fine for a couple of nights but it is not 5 star by any stretch of the imagination. The staff are wonderful though

There were very few amenities provided, such as no lotion or conditioner, so be sure to bring your own. Unfortunately, our room and bathroom were not cleaned during our stay, and we had to call the front desk to request fresh towels and a refresh of the washroom. Great location 15 min walk to old Town and 5 min walk to restaurants that were excellent and that the locals go to. 30 min walk to the beach. Clean room. Asian and western options for breakfast. Don’t miss the opportunity to try the Asian breakfast options they were great.

Although the hotel has a nice presentation, friendly staff and average clean rooms, it was disappointing in a number of items. On 4 occasssions we returned to our rooms after 4pm and the rooms had not been made, it became that late on each occassion, we advised them not to bother. The restraunt was very dissapointing, we had our first meal there on our second night, it was average at best, we decided to give it another chance on our second last night, it was disgraceful. I complained about the quality of the food, which i rearly do, the head chef came out to appologise and admitted the food was reheat. Its probably not surprising there didnt seem to be many evening patrons. Although the hotel has most services around it, there is no easy transport to the major Phuket attractions. Taxi's are extremely rare, there is no courtesy bus from the hotel, staff advised there was a street bus, waited in the street for over 1hr, the bus drove straight past dispite 4 of us trying to wave it down at the allocated pick up zone.

The hotel was really clean and the room had everything we needed (fridge with water, toiletries, coffee/tea making). The bed was comfy and huge, staff were friendly and very helpful - sorted out transfer for us. Breakfast had a good variety of different cuisines and lots of fresh fruit. Location was handy for us being near Rassada pier. Would definitely stay again.

Zeer nette hotel met hele vriendelijke personeel. Ontbijt was ook goed. Hotel ligt op loopafstand van Oud Phuket en 7/11 is om de hoek. We kregen zelfs een gratis upgrade naar een familiekamer.

We were in the Executive room with 2 double beds. Very comfortable, room size was very good, the shower was amazing. Room was very clean, the staff were very nice and the breakfast had lots of options with a great coffee machine. A little pricy, but was worth it.

Let's start with the staff, they are amazing, always smiling and very helpful. The hotel itself is ok but a bit dated, the Lobby, restaurant and bar areas are all very nice but the rooms could do with a facelift.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Thailand. I will definitely stay there again next year. Their staff was excellent, especially Peng. He went above and beyond. It was quiet sleeping at night. It was in a great location. It had a fantastic breakfast and great service. I felt right at home.

Liked the closeness to Phuket old town. Didn't like the pool are(nothing like the photos depicted),the breakfast was average at best. If you are going to stay here(I wouldn't recommend it)make sure you pay the deposit in cash, as I am still waiting for mine to be refunded back to me(paid by card), hotel reception said could take up to 30 working days to be refunded back to me which is absolutely ridiculous. Promised us a breakfast box as checking out early, took us 3 attempts at different times of the previous day to get this organised.

5 star service just the property lacked in afew areas along with the fish market being opposite lots of noise from 3 am -12 pm smell normally goes away by about 1-2 pm when the water truck cleans it out

Breakfast was just right . Not a huge selection but all u need in one place. Omelet was very nice . The chef was always smiling at the omelet station and made it perfect . Also loved the local food at breakfast the soup station the most. Only let down was the coffee machines . The coffee is not good at all . Get rid of those machines .

Lite sparsmakat möblerat. Vissa lampor vid sängen hade behövts tvättas av. Annars rent. Trevlig personal. Hissarna var lite slitna och hade behövts en liten renovering. Stor trevlig lobby. Vi tänkte ta en lunch på takterassen, men det gick inte änns att ta sig upp vid 15-tiden och de höll påsar städa. Bra frukost med omelett/äggstation på beställning.
