The Delavan was amazing! We stayed in the Harriett Suite my wife and I agree its one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom was beautiful, deep tub, rainfall showerhead and his/hers vanity. The facilities were well kept gym included. I love that the gift shop is 24 hours and that Perla, Italian Prime, and the Chandelier Bar are all attached the food is delicious and the drinks are creative and stiff. Allison was very accommodating and polite i will definitely return when I go see my Buffalo Bills play as they are 15 minutes from highmark stadium and about 35 minutes from Niagara Falls, we loved it!!!

The Delavan is the latest of the family owned hotels in Western NY. We enjoy great rates by booking early. We appreciate their shuttle to and from BUF airport. The staff is always friendly & accomodating. We see signs of wear in carpet tiles popping up in corridors, nicks in paint & furniture. Most importantly be aware - they hand you a paper at ck in that if you forget to read, you will on the second day realize, your room is not cleaned nor towels replaced unless you arrange for this a day prior. Otherwise great location, nice amenities, super staff.

Stayed here the night before our flight. The hotel is very nice and the parking rate is good for when you’re leaving it for multiple days. The frustration began when the people above us came in it midnight on a Wednesday and apparently rearranged their entire room while tap dancing. I’ve never been able to hear someone above us so much. We requested a 4:30am shuttle to the airport (property offers 24 hour shuttle) at 4:10 the desk called us that the driver wasn’t there so they called us a cab and could we please hurry…. She was rude to us for making him wait when we requested to leave at 4:30, not 4:10, not our fault the driver was there already. Then when we got back tonight they said the driver isn’t there and to get a cab and they’d pay for it… so you don’t do 24 hour shuttle? I wanted a hotel shuttle not a sketchy cab. Yikes. Wanted to like it so bad but kind of frustrating

Hotel is quite modern and beautiful. We asked for wine glasses and an ice bucket which got delivered after a short wait and the wine glasses were DISGUSTING (we are both former bartenders and we would have been embarrased to hand those to people). The "spa" is just a salon that offers massages in modified hotel rooms. Overall 4/5 but just misses the mark of what it could or should be. The in room refrigerator started making awful noises around 6 a.m.

Clean, modern and spacious rooms. Friendly staff and super accommodating. Sonny is the best, he made our stay extra special, going above and beyond. Kudos to The Delavan for hiring him. I really liked the Chandelier bar (Saturday night), beds and bedding and showers. Christmas decor was out of this world! No ice machines on any floors, but you can get some from one of the restaurants there. If they run out (like they did with us, there is a gas station with an ice box a hop and skip next to the hotel. No swimming pool, but for our short stay it was not necessary. All in all it was a great time, luxury feel for an affordable price. I will be coming back.

We love the Delevan Hotel! We have been coming for years, we love the park & fly option w/ shuttle to/from the airport. They have great packages to add to the room and best of all... SALVATORES ITALIAN PRIME/PERLA two great places to dine or grab a quick bite while staying there!!! All of the staff are friendly & helpful. (p.s. Love the new in-house bakery/barista)

I have been staying here a few times year for the last few years- the property is showing its age and is in need of a refresh- especially the corridor carpeting. The room was not very clean- especially the shower upon check in (had mold growing on the tile) They did move us to another room which was nice. Staff is great- needs longer food and drink hours!

The hotel was quite luxurious and the staff were extremely professional, courteous and helpful. The furnishings were modern & comfortable and the entire facility was clean. The bedroom was spacious with many amenities and the bed was firm and comfortable. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Property is beautiful, however the carpets need a deep cleaning the hallway carpet is filthy and tattered see photos, The elevator carpet is black with grime. Stayed here many times in the past but some maintenance of the place needs attention, clearly visible debris and string and paint chips and wall paper separation are clear signs that management is not addressing the most basic tennant of a clean property For close to $200 a night the experience is more of a motel 6 at this point- a shame, hope they make corrections.

I don’t normally like being harsh but this is not a 4 star hotel. Other than the restaurant that is attached, the very nice concierge Sonny, and the gentleman who serves breakfast with a smile, this hotel is terrible. I stayed for 3 nights and my room had stains all over the pillows and sheeting. I only asked for room service to clean my room on the 2nd day and they did not clean my room or even make the bed. All they did was replace my towels and toilet paper. Further, as you can see from the photos, the state of the hotel is in disrepair with the floor tiles coming up from the floor. I have absolutely no idea how this hotel has a 4 star rating, but you are better off at any of the 3 star rated chains compared to this location.

The rooms have a nice aesthetic, location is not great if you want to walk around but it’s really close to the airport. First impressions stay with you and unfortunately as you’re going up to your room you get hit by a stench as you enter the elevator. Main elevator by the reception was the worst with an awful smell that never went away and it’s unfortunate because the lobby is well-kept.

The hotel exceeded expectations. The good No bed bugs. Rooms were quiet and clean. Everything is in great working order. Rooms cleaned daily. Beds were comfy. 4 pillows. The restaurant was great. The main floor bathrooms have cool displays! It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Staff was super friendly. Free parking. Close to lots of amenities. Right beside a blue water tower, so easy to locate when driving. The bad The floor carpet was coming up on the 3rd floor, and the shower water pressure wasn't the greatest. It also took a while to warm up. Cold water was powerful, but as soon as you go to warm it up, the pressure drops.

The room was spotless and the staff was excellent. The only complaint we had was the the rooms are not soundproof. We could hear everything from the room next door. Not sure what can be done about that. Otherwise the hotel is lovely.

Very nice accommodations and friendly staff. Our room was clean, but the television didn’t work very well. There was a large delay from the time I pressed the channel controls on the remote from the time the TV responded. I tried to reset the TV 3 times before giving up. That was disappointing because we were there for a relaxing night of dinner, cocktails and movies. The “hot” breakfast was a complete disappointment. It consisted of a selection of muffins, bagels and English muffins that could be toasted, if desired. There was no juice, eggs, or oatmeal. It was such a let down.

We really like staying at the Delevan when visiting Buffalo. The bathroom is the best of hotels we’ve stayed in. Dual sinks, big walk-in shower, separate toilet room. Very elegant rooms and easy parking.

Beautiful hotel. Very nice staff. Room was clean and well appointed. Walls are thin, can hear people in next room and walking above us.

Hotel was beautiful but the rooms were stifling…the lowest setting for the thermostat was 68 degrees. That’s not even reasonable. My husband and I woke up hourly from how warm the room was. Even my 17 year old nephew and his mother who were in another room said the same thing. Terrible.

The hotel exceeded expectations. The good No bed bugs. Rooms were quiet and clean. Everything is in great working order. Rooms cleaned daily. Beds were comfy. 4 pillows. The restaurant was great. The main floor bathrooms have cool displays! It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Staff was super friendly. Free parking. Close to lots of amenities. Right beside a blue water tower, so easy to locate when driving. The bad The floor carpet was coming up on the 3rd floor, and the shower water pressure wasn't the greatest. It also took a while to warm up. Cold water was powerful, but as soon as you go to warm it up, the pressure drops.

The room was spotless and the staff was excellent. The only complaint we had was the the rooms are not soundproof. We could hear everything from the room next door. Not sure what can be done about that. Otherwise the hotel is lovely.

The hotel is fine but the service left much to be desired. I was unable to pre check in my room when prompted by email. I called the front desk their response was “ I don’t see your reservation goodbye. ‘ They wanted to rush me off the phone. Upon further investigation which I pleaded for they were able to find the two rooms booked for my son’s wedding. When I later called for check in time I was told we could check in at 2pm . We arrived at 2pm and weren’t able to check in till after 4pm and we had to get ready for rehearsal dinner.

Stayed here the night before our flight. The hotel is very nice and the parking rate is good for when you’re leaving it for multiple days. The frustration began when the people above us came in it midnight on a Wednesday and apparently rearranged their entire room while tap dancing. I’ve never been able to hear someone above us so much. We requested a 4:30am shuttle to the airport (property offers 24 hour shuttle) at 4:10 the desk called us that the driver wasn’t there so they called us a cab and could we please hurry…. She was rude to us for making him wait when we requested to leave at 4:30, not 4:10, not our fault the driver was there already. Then when we got back tonight they said the driver isn’t there and to get a cab and they’d pay for it… so you don’t do 24 hour shuttle? I wanted a hotel shuttle not a sketchy cab. Yikes. Wanted to like it so bad but kind of frustrating

The staff at the Delevan were the best part of our stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Things we didn't like were...... the lack of cleanliness...there was a bloody bandaid on the shower wall in our room.....another guest left a broken plastic hanger in the closet, clear for housekeeping to see.....some of the carpet tiles were replaced and never secured so they were just laid on the hallway floor loose.....the main door we entered and exited to the parking lock was locked and broken so our keys didn't work.....there was a rock there instead to keep it open. The walls are paper thin and it sounded like an elephant was in the room above us....the day before we left, we were locked out of our rooms and had to get new keys made....the Expedia website says they have free breakfast. They don't. When we asked about it, we were told, "that's a mistake on their website". They need to contact Expedia to change it because anyone booking through Expedia is expecting free breakfast.....the rooms were very average....our coffee maker didn't work. The rooms had a musty smell. Overall I'd say this hotel is a 3 star at best. I wouldn't stay again.

Booked the room for Valentine's weekend , unfortunately wasnt able to stay the whole time due to car issues but we stayed the first night and our stay was awesome!! Shower was great!! The room TV could be just a bit bigger the restaurants and lay out of the entire hotel was beautiful, so clean and stuff was friendly besides the over night crew 😕 the night shift desk lady I think her name was Selina , was not so kind, or helpful. When we went to check out they gave us a $50 gift card due to how the lady was for the night shift, and offered us a deal next time we came to stay. Overall the place was beautiful. If you would like to eat at the restaurant at the hotel , if suggest making a reservation first. If not , not guaranteed a table

The gal at the front desk was very accommodating as we had been flying all night. She let us check in early... we were exhausted. She gave us a quick rundown of the property and amenities. She was very kind. I also wanted to use the microwave up by the front desk. There was a gentleman heating up his dinner. He stopped what he was doing and let me bump ahead of him to heat my food up. That was very kind. I'm just saying the employees here are fabulous, kind and accommodating. The bed was comfortable. The place is quiet and the shower was out of this world. Thank you Delavan for a great stay.

From check in with Sunny and his warm welcome. Everything was great. Sunny is a wonderful ambassador giving efficient and friendly service. All questions addressed immediately he was great. The room and the hotel are awesome clean , war,and quiet. Nice beds and great showers. We will be back to try restaurants at a later date for sure. Thanks for a great night.

Nice place. Quaint and quiet. We were not able to take advantage of any of the amenities because we were only there for 2 days. I didn't realize we were about thirty minutes away from niagara falls, which is the reason we went there. That was a downfall, but at least the area was pretty easy to get to.

Loved the hotel as far as location and size. Not too swanky, but nice enough. Sheets weren’t as soft as I would like, nor did the water get hot enough for my liking, but neither of those things would deter us from staying there again. The important parts for us were the cleanliness and the friendly staff…from Dapper Sonny at Check-in to the helpful gentlemen in house keeping.

It’s safe and quiet. The hotel was very clean, with onsite amenities of bar, restaurant, and spa. The local outside eating is not the best…a 15 min ride to decent food. The location is very convenient to the airport.

The rooms have a nice aesthetic, location is not great if you want to walk around but it’s really close to the airport. First impressions stay with you and unfortunately as you’re going up to your room you get hit by a stench as you enter the elevator. Main elevator by the reception was the worst with an awful smell that never went away and it’s unfortunate because the lobby is well-kept.

The Delavan was amazing! We stayed in the Harriett Suite my wife and I agree its one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom was beautiful, deep tub, rainfall showerhead and his/hers vanity. The facilities were well kept gym included. I love that the gift shop is 24 hours and that Perla, Italian Prime, and the Chandelier Bar are all attached the food is delicious and the drinks are creative and stiff. Allison was very accommodating and polite i will definitely return when I go see my Buffalo Bills play as they are 15 minutes from highmark stadium and about 35 minutes from Niagara Falls, we loved it!!!

We have stayed here numerous times pre pandemic and now again for the first time post pandemic. Though the hotel as a whole is a decent choice as far as location, room sizes and level of comfort is concerned. Staying here again now I noticed some changes, not for the better. Pre pandemic the room stay included a full decent hot breakfast, served in their dining room. In room there was a free bottle of water. Now, post pandemic, there’s a breakfast bar where you have to buy muffins etc at an additional cost. Also no more free bottle of water in the room. And to top this off their room prices went up significantly. Everything “because of the pandemic” per the staff there. Really? You cannot even put a bottle of water in the room? In my humble opinion this Because of the Pandemic is just an excuse to screw you over wherever possible. Just sad.

Gorgeous, high-end hotel staff were friendly and respectful. Only negative was it says breakfast was included, I understand remodels happen but when in such a pristine, high-end hotel, I expected more than a muffin and bagel for breakfast. Other than that amazing time spent here!

The property was beautiful and well Kept. My only concern was that that restaurant didn’t open until 4pm and closed at 9pm… one of the reasons I booked was because of the 3 hotel options. One night, it was advertised that dining closed at 11pm.. we tried to order room service, they said room service closed at 9pm…not cool. I had to leave the premises twice to eat at other restaurants.. very disappointing. I was able to eat at 1 restaurant only.. the chandelier bar which was outstanding. I won’t be staying here again.

The Chandelier Bartenders were the best I have ever seen, I don't think I ever saw them stop tending to all the people at the bar and at the tables. The drinks were outstanding. We ate and drank there every night.

We always stay there for our Christmas gift to each other. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We ate at the bar and had a few cocktails. Food was very good. Sometimes we had to wait for service. Use to have free breakfast but not anymore. Miss that. Otherwise a nice night away.

We love the Delevan Hotel! We have been coming for years, we love the park & fly option w/ shuttle to/from the airport. They have great packages to add to the room and best of all... SALVATORES ITALIAN PRIME/PERLA two great places to dine or grab a quick bite while staying there!!! All of the staff are friendly & helpful. (p.s. Love the new in-house bakery/barista)

Beautiful hotel and the restaurant choices were amazing. Brian, our check-in host was awesome and always helpful! The Prime served great drinks but the food was overpriced for average food. The entertainment was amazing. The overall stay was great but the food needs work especially at the prices served.

Was a good stay but hotel has gone downhill since we last stayed two years ago. Carpets in hallways needed cleaning; door deadbolt was malfunctioning; poor lighting in the room. The positives comfortable bed; excellent bathroom;nice fitness center despite the fact that there were no towels available each time I went and disinfectant wipes were empty.

Sonny was great, the hotel however was not. The room is advertised as sound proof but we could hear tvs from other rooms, people talking in other rooms, cars driving by throughout the night, and other peoples alarm clocks going off all morning. I do not recommended this place.
