This hotel has so much potential if experienced hotel management took over. For the rate charged, they really miss the mark to achieve the luxury accommodations expected. We had to wait a little after the 3pm check-in time as we were informed there was maintenance issue underway. Once we got to our room, we realized said maintenance was them fixing the private pool, however it was still broken and unfilled for our entire 3 day stay. The TV also had a busted screen, the curtain buttons didn’t work, and some charging ports were broken. They gave us a discount on our booking but not enough to make up for delivering a sub-par room. The rest of the hotel is beautiful and we enjoyed the spa pool in the basement, though again lack of maintenance appeared with half the jet buttons broken. We did enjoy the restaurant and the beach. A taxi into Barcelona will run you around 35 euro each way so keep that mind if you plan to go often.

A great place to stay after a long haul flight. Close to airport, by the beach, great facilities - pools, gym etc. only regret is should’ve booked for longer.

This hotel is fabulous, despite no children in main pool it was a great 2 night stay. Very modern & sophisticated. Rooms were amazing with a double shower. Best fir couples rather than friends sharing as the shower screen is completely transparent and toilet Door just glazed so little privacy ! Breakfast fantastic tho expensive. Not much to do around the hotel but a wonderful short hop from the airport and v chilled beach club vibe. Jol in breakfast area v helpful as were the re toon staff.

Was premium but needs some work now. The pool was loosing tiles and dirty, shower had mold and tv didn’t work, drapes were pulled from hangers.

Paid for a pool suite and the pool was drained due to drought and no money refunded still charged fees upon check out! Then reserve a 21 and over resort to have a child’s birthday party with nothing but kids running in and out all day and night long… what a horrible last 2 days to the stay on top of no pool and roof deck pool also closed complete fraud and should have been compensated for this. The hotel also overworking there staff and is a shame because the girls were very nice and didn’t deserve that.

Nice big room. The bed was large and very comfortable, the staff was nice the pool and spa are also very nice. You can’t beat the location on the beach and the location to the airport. You will hear the planes taking off from a distance but they are not directly overhead and the rooms are dead quiet. Not easy to get to downtown Barcelona. The cab ride cost about 28 euros to the old city. They also have free parking. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Beach and indoor spa pool included

This hotel has everything - a large pool, a spa, a rooftop pool, and lots of loungers to relax and enjoy the beach and the sea. Restaurant excellent if a little pricey for some options. Rooms a good size for a couple for a few days.

Wonderful e beachfront property in quiet area. Beach club was included and there was also a rooftop pool only for hotel guests. Beautifully decoded rooms and restaurant/ beach club. Friendly staff great food!

Dining on-site was convenient, and while the menu could use a bit more variety, the options available were high quality and very tasty. Overall, a relaxing and well-located stay.

On first impressions, the hotel looks upscale, quality, clean and impressive. We stayed 1 night, spent the day at the beach club and eat all day there. But... Restaurant: As there is not much in the local area, we ate both at the beach club and in restaurant in the evening, food was average at the beach club, we all had burgers, nothing especially noteworthy. Later in the evening we had monkfish and prawns, oysters, and beef Rib along with some salads croquettes, etc. The monkfish tasted as if it was frozen fish, extremely watery. They do have fresh fish on display but this is the worst quality ive had. The desserts were amazing! The room: We booked junior beach front, sea view room. First impressions, amazing! But when it came to bed time, the bed was wet! We looked up and seen mold spores. Either wet sheets were used or there is a bigger problem with condensation. We were moved to another room on the back of the building. Considering it was midnight and we were leaving at 6am, this was Ok. The hotel dealt with our complaint seriously, so we were pleased with this. But this does need to be addressed for future guests. Just a tip: if you want to check in earlier, this will cost you 20Euro per hour up to 15:00 so if your room is ready by 11am, you can check in your room, but it will cost! This hotel just lacks some of the quality associated with high cost. Postives: close to the airport, nice day on the beach. Cost 30 euro in taxi Negative: food quality vs price.

The receptionist was very nice and welcoming. The room I stayed in was clean and definitely worth its price.

This place was so cute! I was really impressed. We were only here for a short one night. The rooms were really big, clean, modern and updated. The hotel has so many cute little details, like the glass sand on the hallway floors. I don’t know much about the area where we were staying because it was just a short stay and we didn’t get to explore so I’m not sure what is around the area but we would definitely stay here again next visit to Barcelona

Small hotel, very few rooms. It’s actually a beach club, people come from the outside to use facilities for the day. During our stay there were very few visitors so it was comfortable. The place is new and well kept.

The place was fantastic. Inside the room is gorgeous, clean and tidy. The condition of the hotel facilities is wonderful. Quiet and not crowded as there is not many rooms provided. And our room has been upgraded to sea view room. Easy way to get to the beach. The water is clear and sand underwater was shining. The experience was amazing.

Beautiful beach front room, nice pool and big room

Liked the beach club the size of the guest rooms. Private balcony/patio was fantastic! The onsite restaurant had very limited offerings and way overpriced. Nearby locations offered few restaurant choices. This is more of a local s area and we didn’t really feel very welcomed at these restaurants. Property should probably have extra coffee makers and remote controls available for guests. . Both of these items did not work during our stay and there was no replacements available and we had to just do without these amenities.

We visited Barcelona from Texas and decided to stay in 3 different hotels in 3 nights. Partnered with my retired father, our first hotel was the Playa Grande. I would not recommend this place unless you are going with your gf or mistress. As you can see from one of the photos, the shower is smack in the middle of the room with no curtains and no privacy. It is like a giant display case. Couldnt use the beach because there was no place to shower. No curtains. Sauna doesnt appear to be working and couldnt find the light for the gym. Entree in the restaurant is about $35 Anyways me and dad, booked a "double room" and it turns out that it means the room has a full size bed. As I did not want to be in the same bed as dad, I asked to switch to single beds. They did not have that but offered a makeshift mini-cot as compromise. It was a very simple frame with 3 square cushions. My tailbone poked thru two of the cushions while I slept making it really uncomfortable. To make a long story short, during check out they charged me an extra $70 for the use of the cot. No price was mentioned before and $70 was really steep for the usage of something that cheap and uncomfortable. I have stayed in about 8 hotels per year for the last 10 years and I have never experienced this. We went back and forth with the hotel staff and got nowhere. Apparently when they say "double room" they actually mean full sized mattress and not double occupancy. Will not stay here again.

The hotel was closed for a wedding so they did not want to check us in despite having prepaid and accepted our booking. No facilities available ie no pool no bar and no beach ! No offer to compensate - suggested we go somewhere else which was not passable as our taxi had left . Very poor experience and Expedia should have advised us if the hotel wasn’t going to

Incredible hotel, condescending staff to non-Catalans.

The staff never called to tell us our room was ready we just checked around 6 and got it. Wasted the whole day. Not friendly or helpful.

I loved the artistic unique boutique hotel designed furnishings & construction materials. I didn't like & is preventing me from staying again the staff that purposely tried to rip me off on my dinner. They charged me twice the amount for my crab, placed it on ice after steaming & brought my butter 20 minutes later while the crab got saturated in the melted ice water then foubled the charge. Young incompetent workers attempting to make a quick buck while taking advantage of their job. They should be fire immediately.

The property decor is stunning in rooms and throughout hotel. The beach location was serene for being so close to the city. This hotel is isolated from restaurants and stores so once you arrive without a vehicle, your only choice for food and drink is within the hotel. However, the service around the pool in the afternoon was terrible. Their beach club was open to locals as well as hotel guests and this may explain why we were ignored after arriving to the pool area. We could not even make eye contact with the one server. It was approx 30 minutes before we finally went up to ask for a drink. He made us feel like we were interrupting him and it was a bad first impression. The service from front desk staff and restaurant servers in the evening was good. This hotel is good for those who want a beautifully appointed room away from city life to relax and be left alone.

Ich wurde stillschweigend downgegradet, offenbar weil eines der gebuchten Zimmer nicht verfügbar war. Als ich dies bemerkte und mich darüber beschwerte, wurde ich kurzerhand aus dem Hotel geworfen und musste mir selbst eine alternative Unterkunft suchen. Die diensthabende Leiterin war äußerst unhöflich. Meine Bitte um Rückerstattung wurde abgewiesen mit dem Hinweis, dass hierfür Expedia zuständig sei. Ich war schockiert. So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Bis heute habe ich keinerlei Rückerstattung erhalten. I was silently downgraded, apparently because one of the rooms was unavailable. When I discovered this and protested, I was thrown out of the hotel and had to find alternative accommodation myself. The manager on duty that day was extremely rude. My request for a refund was dismissed with the argument that this was Expedia’s responsibility. I was shocked — I have never experienced anything like this before. To this day, I have not received any refund.

This property was amazing. Great staff. 30 min away from Barcelona by taxi. So if you are just planning for a relaxing vacation this is really good. But if you wanna explore the city this is probably not the place. Food was great but a bit expensive. Clean beach , great view. We took a room with the pool on the upper lever. Due to the drought, they said we coudnt use it, same issues with other people who booked the room with pool,they should've mentioned that in their website because we had to pay extra just because of that pool. they should have given us a voucher for an appetizer or drinks or something but nope. Thats the only thing that bothered us. But otherwise great stay.

One of the most beautiful hotels we've stayed in. The hotel is incredible and right on the beach. From the roof top deck with it's infinity pool, to the beautiful spa facilities on the lower floor; It was a real treat for the last night of our vacation. The staff are all incredibly helpful too and it's only a 10 minute drive from Barcelona airport. The surrounding area is really quiet, but it's only a few minutes walk to a handful of restaurants and bars; the onsite bar and restaurant looked amazing too.

Lovely boutique hotel with friendly staff. Beautiful spacious rooms with great bathroom facilities. Nice breakfast and restaurant food. We had a car which was necessary if you want to venture out. Not much in and around the area. Drive to Barcelona city very easy and approx 25 mins. Would stay there again as it's perfect for that mixed beach & city getaway. Special thanks to John & Suleiman in restaurant and Sandra at reception.

The staff at the restaurant could be friendlier to english speaking people - the prices of the food was expensive but tasted good.

First of all the rooms are very good. Very well furnished, robes etc. and the beach front is great. Clean, lots of loungers and a bar which also serves food. Five stars. But don't eat here. Service is poor. Good choice is not great and not best quality. Staff look disinterested. Argue with each other in front of customers. Eat elsewhere.

The hotel is lovely and the dinner was a 10/10! Everything you could want I will stay here every time I go to this area.

We asked for restaurant recommendations prior to our arrival and twice they would not give us any, saying that their restaurant on property was so good. When we got there, they told us "sorry, but our restaurant is closed for a private event." I dont appreciate that.

Séjour en famille Hôtel sublime et chambre très spacieuse cependant tout n’est pas au point selon moi! Nous avions réservé pour 3 mon époux mon fils de 3 ans et moi même mais à notre arrivée nous ne trouvons qu’un seul lit ( 2 place ) dans notre chambre, nous demandons alors un lit pour notre fils attention 60 e de supplément par nuit pour ce lit! 😳 vu le prix de l’hôtel je trouve cela un peu excessif ! Sachez qu’aucune des 3 piscines de l’hôtel n’autorise les enfants de moins de 16 ans! C’est très dommage je le comprends pour le calme des autres voyageurs mais la piscine du toit terrasse aurait été suffisante pour satisfaire la clientèle ! Parlons du petit déjeuner à 28 e par personne et par nuit ! 🤔 Ou nous avons attendu 45 min pour avec nos café, ce n’est pas un buffet alors il faut attendre de commander puis d’être servi ( attente en moyenne 45 min si il n’oublie pas la moitié de la commande, noté sur un papier ) organisation certainement a revoir car nous avons attendu nos yaourts et céréales qui ne sont jamais arrivés ! Tristesse arrivée au petit dej à 9h45 repartie à 11h 45 sans avoir eu ce que l’on avait commandé
