The people were very unfriendly and I in accommodating, no refunds no. Matter what, pool was green and you could not swim in it, would have changed Goleta but they issue no refund even if there pool is green

i would definitely recommend this place it was walking distance to the beach and restaurants the staff cleaned our room every day with new towels.. the breakfast was just so so. the pool was very relaxing 😎

Great trip as always! Rooms are clean and stocked! While like any of the smaller Biloxi beach hotels it needs some updating, it’s just fine for most. It is close to pretty much everything and the pool offers a great beach view! The owners and workers are very nice!

Always excellent hotel! Excellent staff, great location, nice pool, convenient to the beach! Yes it may be a bit older motel but the owners/staff care about the property! Also a good morning breakfast!

Parking was great, service was nice. The motel was pretty run down. I don't know if they just bought it and are fixing it up but our room needed some work. A good cleaning would have been my recommendation. I brought my Lysol spray and wipes and stuff came off the walls and lights.The pool needs to be painted. Just extra attention to details and maybe more upkeep is needed.

No elevator , coverings had cigarette holes 🕳️ burnt in it.

10-10 do not recomend. This place smells of wet dog so bad. un covered light sockets safety hazard. the fixtures in bathroom looked like they cooked meth in it at some point. I wouldnt stick a toe in that nasty pool either. The most inpressive thing was the shower which was excellent.

There were 3 long buildings and only one had an ice machine working, and that was on the far end of the 3rd building away from my room. Second, I was checked in on February 23rd and checked out on the 26th, the Wi Fi did not work the entire time I was there.

Very dirty! Splatters on every wall of room 225. Mold on shower curtain, just disgusting.

Everything was disgusting. The toilet paper was already opened, the tub was black on the bottom, the remote wasn't even synced to the tv so we were unable to change the channel, volume, or even turn it off, and to top it off, the mattress had a spring sticking out of it.

Within 3-5 minutes of being in our room. We started getting bit by bugs. My son had to use the bathroom and it smelled like sewage and the toilet was dirty. He got bites on his stomach just from using the bathroom. We took our luggage back to our vehicle and we to the front office. He didn’t seem surprised and stated since I booked through a third party; I would have to call them for a refund since they are booked. Several more guests came in complaining about bed bugs as well. They were asking for a refund too! This was big inconvenience since it was a holiday weekend, graduations, and games going on this weekend. Will not recommend anyone to stay here.

One of the nastiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Dirty bed, dirty towels, dirty bathroom. Won’t ever be here again.

Waited to get in a room. Got in the first room. Found mold on the bed. Smelt like mold got in the second room. Found bed bugs. Worst hotel I've ever been to

I've stayed before. Either the front half of the property is different from the back half, or the property has severely deteriorated. Bed bugs, and generally a nasty place to stay.

We were disappointed with Star Inn. Upon arrival, there was a gentleman vomiting outside of the lobby. The room was covered in cobwebs and dust, had scuffs and marks on the walls and smelled like marijuana. The floor was filthy, the shower had used bars of soap and the counters had scum on it. The sink leaked and the mirror had toothpaste splatters on it. The shower faucet leaked and the toilet seat was broken off the hinges. The front door to the room had dents and looked to previously have been kicked in. The lock on the door didn’t work because it immediately fell out of the trim. The headboards had grease marks on it and the lamps didn’t have lightbulbs. The fridge and microwave were stained and smelly. Half of the towels we received had stains on them and both beds had sheets that had hair in them, cigarette burns, smelled bad and looked dirty. The hotel staff was not friendly and acted annoyed when I told them of the condition of the room and made me change the sheets, after asking if I really needed two sets. They did not give pillowcases or comforters. My family and I had to go buy extra towels, cleaning supplies, pillows and pillowcases, and throw blankets to sleep with. Our room keys were deactivated every morning and required us to walk to the Lobby everyday to have them reset. They did not speak to us when we’d have to re-active our room keys. The only thing we liked about this place was that we could run across the street to the beach and souvenir shop.

The room could have been cleaner but the sheets and pillow cases were clean and that's the main thing that matters. Fridge door wouldn't stay closed so our drinks wouldn't stay cold unless we put something in front of the fridge. Bed was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever slept on in my life, cheapest of the cheap for mattress choice. The location was great which we loved though.

The beds were quite hard, and there was no ashtray provided in the room even when we asked to have one it was not brought to us. We also noticed that the door had a slight gap at the bottom, so we had to prop a chair against it for extra security. The free breakfast was good other than the orange juice tasting terrible. Other than those issues, our stay was good! I would recommend this place for people on a budget and it’s right on the water!

Not that clean lots of cigarette burns on bed spread and tub. A roach bug was crawling on the floor. Luckily I had thought to bring bedbug spray and Lysol. The bed slept great. Locks on the door didn't work properly from inside and the security latch was broken.

The place was kind of dated and look like it would be something that you would see out of the '50s era, but the beds were clean and everything was comfortable, the refrigerator microwave worked well. The only issues I had with the place were first of all that they tried to charge my card before I arrived when they weren't supposed to, and that the volume on my TV would not go down because nobody programmed the remote. So I just unplugged it. Other than that the bathtub was a little old and worn looking but I can't complain because I was just looking for somewhere to crash for the night.

OLD hotel. Needs to be updated, the bed was comfy, But all the other furniture is absolutely broken and junk.

Little run down, but you get what you pay for. The location is great. Big gaps between the doors to next room and outside.

Rude staff.

Second time we've stayed, so that says something in itself. We love the location and the owners are very kind. We will definitely be back and we would recommend to family or friends. Especially for the price!

The owner, housekeeper,receptionist (all in one person) was extremely rude and extremely aggressive towards the customer.

A few hours before normal check in i called to see if the hotel was pet friendly and and a gentleman said yes and the fee was $15.00. He was very polite. About an hour later i called back too see we could possibility check in early if a room was available. The woman who answered the phone Diane was very very very short with me when she spoke to me saying check in was at such and such a time. I said well you aren't very nice. Her demeanor was rude and definitely not very kind. So when we arrived at approximately 4:30 when i went to check in this woman literally screamed at me for 10 minutes. I kept asking her please stop screaming at me and to please let me talk. By the time i got my room key i was quite shook up. Then we get to the room...filth...pure filth from the front door to the shower. It was so dirty i didnt even take a shower there. Anyone that gives this hotel a good review is doing a disservice to others. Oh and no battery in the smoke alarm that was hanging off the wall and the room had smoke stench in the bedding. Why this place is in business is beyond me. Nice way to start a trip NOT

Check in was easy, staff was great. Hotel was clean, and nice. It was an excellent experience. I would recommend.

When we arrived the woman at front desk, was very rude. She 1st gave us wrong room. Went back and told her the room was not the one we reserved. She changed our room. When we got 1st room no deposit was required, when we went back and got correct room, she charged us a $40 deposit twice. When I went to ask her about this she got loud and starting arguing with me. She stated she credited the one $40 back to the account. As of this review she has not. The room itself, was not cleaned properly. The hot tub was not cleaned, there was trash on floor. Was supposed to be non smoking room, in my opinion it was not. Cracks in the walls. The door was not flush to the frame.Bugs and cold air could come in. This used to be a nice quaint place to stay. But I will find somewhere else to stay after this experience. And that is sad, because it is reasonable rates, and convenient to casino's, restaurants and shopping.

This place was a complete train wreck from the jump. I got there early and was greeeted by 2 young males who followed me, hitting on me in the thirstiest manner. Would've take "no" for an answer. The room was disgusting and when i went to set my bags on thebed, realized the bed was soaking wet. They brought me back clean bedding and i remade the bed. It was extremely loud all night. At least once on the hour i received a ding dong ditch. The next morning, iwas told i had to pay $60 nonrefundable fee for my tiny dog. That was beyond the $20 i paid the night before. The 4 days i was there, iwasnt offered cleaning service even once. Each morning i had toget key reset. And like 5x per day after. Each time the woman at desk scolded me like it was my fault. And yelled at me about my dog bring with me but its not like I could leave her in the room when my key DOESN'T WORK!! You weren't allowed breakfast after 8am and forget coffee. She even yelled at me for getting coffee out of caribeaner from the day before and saying it was cold. Why is it still out? Oh, and there was black mold all over bed and wall when i was changing the sheets. If you can afford something better, do yourself a favor and make those accommodations; you'll thank me later.

The manager at the front desk was EXTREMELY RUDE TO ME, ALMOST RACISTS I FELT. Indians women and was extremely nice to white guests right in front of me as I waited to register room.

Good parking. Generally clean but one room had strong mildew and urine smell, another strong smoke odor. Maintenance issues such as burnt-out light bulbs, running toilet, failed card entry reader, waited one hour for maintenance to get into room. Staff cooperative, but they will stick to their no-refund policy no matter what.

Great location

Enjoyed our stay. Great location, on the beach, easy access to shopping and dining, across the street from a unique souvenir shop. Beach front access to shrimp boats to purchase fresh Gulf seafood

The price is the best thing about this hotel, followed by its proximity to the beach. Although it’s near the beach, crossing 6 lanes of traffic to get there is tough. The hotel is older. It smelled good on arrival. Breakfast was sad with no hot or fresh food, other than a waffle iron. I feel like I got what I paid for, and I slept good after a day in the sun.

We went to a show at one of the casinos and this hotel was just minutes away. Older but very clean and nice for the money. It’s right across the street from the beach and close to lots of restaurants and shops.

Nice motel. Great location. Quiet (with the exception of a few trains-close to train tracks). Well lit. Friendly staff.

Location good - just one road between the Inn and the beautiful beach and boardwalk. Rooms a good size with king-size bed and everything you would expect and need. Very clean and comfortable. Choice of eating places across the road and within a short walking distance. Pool.

The cleaning staff were present every day to give clean towels and pull the trash. The location was perfect, it was across the street from the beach and walked distance from all the family activities such as a go kart park, miniature golf course, arcade, bowling and sports bar.

Toilet would not flush an never got anyone to come plunge it. Was painting so no breakfast not even coffee. Office girl was not friendly

there was a surprise key deposit in cash required,breakfast need help, door to bathroom need repair, shower curton need adjustmen will not stop the water from flooding the bathroom floor.

This is a very old hotel, that obviously needs some updates. The breakfast bar was nasty the muffins that they had in a package were cut open on one end it looked like they had been cut with scissors. They had the same packets of grits and peach oatmeal the entire three mornings I was there. Yes it is a very old hotel, but the mattresses are very uncomfortable, and the room had roaches in it. Not water bugs but actual roaches. The floors needed to be mopped they had not been mopped in a while you could tell by looking.

As the saying goes- You get what you pay for is true. We liked the location. Lady at check in was nice. Morning young man was too busy with his phone to care much. Continental Breakfast was not what we expected from advertisement. No syrup for waffle not even on second morning after requesting some on first morning stay, no fruit, no pastries other than muffins that were originally twin pack that had been cut apart but left in wrapper, orange juice and apple juice were both spoiled or tasted sour. Rooms need to be remodeled. Cigarette holes in comforter and burn marks on tub edging all located in a nonsmoking room.

The motel is in a great location and across Beach Blvd from the Gulf. Unfortunately you have to cross that to get to it and it's busy. Rooms where somewhat clean. Had sand all over the floor and bathtub still had sand in it. Breakfast was so so with minimal options. Service was okay just basic check in and go on your way. Scraping the Coast guard as going on so it was noisy and very crowded even at the motel. Pool on site is outside and looked nice. If you need a quick night stay it's fine but more than that you may want to check around.

A modest budget hotel in a very delightful town. Breakfast was meager, but it was food. A few of the neighbors were a bit noisy but it wasn’t too bad.

We had problems with the TV and staff wasn't helpful. Breakfast didn't offer much past cold cereal.

Excellent location. Breakfast is just cereal and waffles, but not a big deal. Hairdryer did not work.
