OYO hotel Greensboro east I 40

It was absolutely horrible. What was presented online was not what we got. The rooms all smelt like smoke when they said we’re non-smoking, they were filthy, the pool was broken and nasty with black water when said was refreshing online. We were only on the property for a a few minutes and could not even stand it. Then went back to the front desk and refused the room and left. The lady at the desk did a refund and was polite and apologized that the room was not as advertised. Now this booking agency has me as a no show and pulled a full payment out of my account, for their mistakes. Now I have to dispute the payment and demand a refund due to their mistakes. If this does not get corrected I will NEVER again use this booking app again, as I was there and I did show up however it was not as advertised and way to disgusting to stay there with our kids.

it was so bad i will never stay there again or tell ppl to stay their ppl was not friendly and there was no pool there i call and ask if they had pool before i made Reveca and the lady said we have apool and i ask is there water in pool and she said yes there was no pool

No pool, rooms are not clean. Mold was growing in our room & the ceiling was leaking. The bathtubs are horrible with chipped paint and mold. Breakfast was a task. They ran out by 7am all tht was left was raisin bran, no bread no milk ect. To get new towels you have to wait until the housekeeper comes by your room and that was if they had enough to exchange them out.

The parking lot was scary there was grass for your pet the room its self was clean but the condition of the room another story!! The bathroom door was punched or kicked and there was a large hole in the door and what looked like blood on the wall. There was what looked like a bullet hole in the wall and the front door. The door didn’t look secure !! This hotel is terrifying it looks abandon it has not had an upgrade ever the picture is not at all what this hotel looks like in person avoid this if you can! I ran out of this place at daylight I meant to take pictures but all I wanted to do was leave.,I pushed the desk in front of the door to feel safe!!! It looks like a place they traffic people or sell drugs out of!! I will never ever stay at this place again it is not recommended !!

Advertised a swimming pool, but no swimming pool available

The pool was green and closed in the middle of summer. The room was dingy, dirty, bed was soiled.

I got there they didn’t have any ice machine. They had a cooler out front yet to scoop it out of there was roaches in the room. Cigarette burns in the blanket. Bathroom tiles were falling off the wall showerhead was hanging out the wall didn’t have anything out for breakfast had a ton of children there No coffee Cereal, milk Just a waffle, the manager said because some food hub had brought it in yet. This was not an expensive motel, but this was obviously one that had a lot of concerning people staying at it for cops out in the parking lot all night, long talking to an individual then they have the gall to sit here and have you initial for deposits in case you damage the place, you couldn’t damage that place worse than it was. I’m very surprised. The health department is not there yet. The pool is empty. That ought to be about enough. I’m sure I can tell you more.

They don't have a pool everything looks dull and dusty a little expensive for the experience and expression of the area

The pool is not open. The front desk lady was not helpful. We were only given 2 towels even though I told her there were 4 guests and 4 was put in the reservation. Also, she did not allow me to see the room prior to check in.

Overall the stay was ok but the bed bugs wasn’t ok because I was getting bit up every night

The conditions and cleanliness were horrible. I couldn’t stay my entire reservation. I checked out at 6am the morning after checking in. It was horrible. Roaches, dusty, doesn’t look anything like the photos. It was unbelievable

Horrendous. Like so bad. Tried to get my room changed because I found roaches in the bed and I couldn’t. Paint peeling off the ceilings and off the doors the entire room looked like it had been surfaced cleaned and that’s it. No pest control nothing. Overall a bad experience and I wouldn’t wish my worst enemy to stay there

Bathroom was not cleaned. Soap left in the soap dish. Mold around the tub. Floors were dirty. Made my while socks black. Would not recommend to anyone. Mattress covers were nasty and had kool-aid dried on them. Food on the floors along the wall beside bed. Never stayed in a worse place. Will not ever come back. I come to Greensboro regularly. Not staying again.

You get what you pay for I guess. Place was unclean and mold in the bathroom. Sheet were not clean. When tired to speak to manger she was loud and defensive. She stated all the rooms looked the same. Would not look at the pictures I took. She refuse to speak anymore stating I was not listen to her. Like she was my boss. Grass needed to be cut and weeded. Also, some went the the bathroom at the top of the steps. I would not recommend this place to anybody.

honestly you get what you pay for from this hotel. very outdated, the sheets had holes and there was a lot of patched up holes in the walls/doors. the main door felt like it wouldn’t close all the way. we only stayed one night so we kind of just pushed through it. I wouldn’t stay more than one night here

Not a frilly hotel but it was clean looks worse on the outside but inside was fine better than what I expected for the price.

It was average, room but was very spacious for 1 person and i had a king size bed non smoking room. Took awhile for the hot water to heat up but when it did it was very hot. Very few amenities jist the basics were provided. The bed could of had more cushion but i slept ok. Remote worked for the tv and all lights and sockets worked. For a last minute book throigh expedia.. it was adequate enough for me and my need.

Bugs were all over the floor of this room. In desperate need of an update. Wi-fi stunk, couldn't get my work done so this trip was 1/2 wasted. Will not recommend nor will I return

The stay was great, had a problem with the first room we got the lights didn’t work so they switched us no problem said if need anything else let them know.. super quiet for the weekend in Greensboro staff was super nice

Dirty ,not safe area neighborhood vibe not good and front desk no attenfance all the time if you need something the be patient to wait for them they are not accommodating.

I have to start by saying that the ladies in registration were really nice, the conditions of the hotel is not their fault so as far as that, it was a good and smooth check for me and my friends. We got three rooms this weekend for a family event we were coming from far. However, when I got my room on Friday night, first thing I noticed is that there was no lightbulbs, went back down to registration the lady gave me a different room. The room had lightbulbs, but we realized there was a lot of bugs and small roaches. The floors were very dirty, the mirrors were streaky, the parking lot had trash, and the smell of weed was very strong. As we left this morning, which is Sunday we also realized one of my car tires was intentionally flattened. Luckily it was not cut, but they pulled out the little screw from the air hole, why I have no idea. But this happened here. I would not stay here again, most likely unless it was an absolute emergency.

Julia and ellizabeth two of the employees that work at the front desk are incredible. They take the time to talk to you, explain things and treat you like a human being. As far as the other staff that have been here the last few days are rude and just not nice. Roaches in the room, I had to clean the bathroom and used my own towels because the ones provided stink. The complimentary shampoo/ body wash if the guest didn’t use all of it Or didn’t take it, it is left for you half used. Drink splattered on the wall behind the night stand, remotes have no back on them. I have been over charged 80 dollars, when I called to talk to the front desk I was hung up on. This will be the last time i stay at this hotel. Half the guest are rude as well and it is because the front desk stress them out. I travel allot for work and personal vacation and this is one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. They have a no refund policy, if I could get my money back I would definitely move to another hotel. But with the no refund policy and being over charged I do not have the money to go to another hotel. I have never been at a hotel and talked to like a dog or belittled which is the experience I have had. The water does not drain in the shower: Disgusting is the room and certain stairt are very unprofessional. If you come to stay here hopefully Julie is at the front desk she’s awesome 😎

I came here to stay with friends because it was the closest hotel besides Holiday Inn, which was already booked, to a family event. I was very skeptical about booking here, but I decided to give it a chance. I don’t think I would ever stay here again, the smell is horrible. It just smells like weed and smoke everywhere. There was also a window with a gunshot on it, which gave me a very bad vibe. There was trash in the parking lot, bugs never ending, including small roaches and stink bugs. When I first arrived, the lady that greeted me was actually very nice. She gave me a room that had no lightbulbs in it so I went back. They switched me two rooms down, which had bulbs, but there was a lot of stink bugs. I stayed two nights. It was hard. Also, when I was about to leave, my tire was flat, I went to fill it and had no more problems, which means that somebody intentionally did it. I know this isn’t the hotels fault, but this type of hotel looks to be like a lot of criminals. Come here to do other illegal activity, because there was also people walking in, and out of rooms, suspicious cars. Also, the cleaning people do not do a very good job. The tub was very greasy, very streaky mirrors. They don’t care about presentation. I’m sure because of the type of customers that come here.. If you can go somewhere else, don’t hesitate. I do have to say that the ladies in the front. We’re nice, it was not about them.

Horrible hotel property. Room is full of weed smell although it advertised as non smoking. Enter the room couldn't stay and left immediately. Cigarette ashes were in bed sheets. Toilet flush was not working and paper not flushed when entered. The worst place I have ever entered and the hotel staff were not very friendly either. They blatantly said can't help you and not their problem if i dont want to stay there. Asked for manager and said manager is not here and they didn't even try calling manager at least.

The office lady was very rude, I was having issues with my booking and she took not time to help me or explain anything to me, closed the door in my face. I was very frustrated and did not stay the night I’m still waiting on my refund! Her name is “ Jennifer”

OMG, I'm scared to even go to sleep right now, but it's late and i have to get up early. This place is not at all what it is advertised to be. No free breakfast, the later it gets, more ppl are hanging outside in the parking lot, talking loud and keeping noise. The hotel is Rodeway not OYO, My room has footprints on the floor😳 Lord please keep me and my family safe throughout this night 🙏

Dirtiest, loudest most dangerous hotel I have ever stayed in. Witnessed drug deal in courtyard as i walked to the room. Room had urine odor. Bugs flying out of stinky sink. Mold on shower curtain. Shower didn't drain. Loud concert in building next door. I'd like my money back.

The hotel was extremely ghetto there are people everywhere and it made me feel very unsafe. The check in lady was fine but this is obviously not a good hotel. The room is dirty you can tell someone just slept in the bed the tv and light was already on as if someone was just in the room very odd and very scketchy

This place used to be a Rodeway Inn, and honestly, it should have stayed that way because it’s nothing short of a horror show now. The sign is still up, which is an eerie reminder of what was once a chain that at least had some semblance of standards. The moment I pulled onto the property, I could tell something was off. The grounds are unsafe—especially for a single female traveler. There were people loitering in their cars, popping in and out of rooms for quick, sketchy visits, making it clear that this place is not only dirty but downright dangerous. Now, let’s talk about the room—if you can even call it that. It was filthy. The sink didn’t drain at all, leaving water to just sit there, and the AC unit had a paint can stuffed underneath it. I kid you not. But the real kicker was the bugs. There were dead ones in the corners of the room, and worst of all—there were bed bugs in the bed. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. I lasted less than an hour before I packed up and went to find a safer, cleaner hotel. I’m appalled to say that the property managers refused to issue a refund, despite the terrible conditions. This place is a health hazard and a safety risk. If you're looking for somewhere to stay, do yourself a favor and stay FAR away from this so-called motel. It’s not worth the risk to your health, safety, or peace of mind.

Didn’t even get out of my car to go in the room. Lady with panties and bra and many druggies walking or lingering in the parking lot. I left and had to go to another hotel due to feeling unsafe

There was no continental Breakfast as Sold to us online. Very disappointing when you’re booking based on breakfast being provided. Not cool. Will not recommend

The man working the front desk this morning was extremely rude when I inquired about the breakfast (waffles) that were supposed to be made available for the guests. It’s safe to say that I will not be staying at this hotel again. I will definitely be requesting a refund but knowing how I was treated this morning I have a feeling that won’t be happening.

The motel needed a lot of updates. They didn’t put towels enough towels in the room. They didn’t have any towels in the build and had to wait till the morning. They never brought any towels. The next day the ran out of breakfast a hour into breakfast. We went to the track meet and was hot and tired but had no towels in the room. When I went to the front desk. The owner told me they couldn’t give extra towels. I explained that the reservation was made for 4 people. She then said we can only give you one more set. I asked her are we to share towels. She told me they didn’t have any and that I would have to wait till the morning. The laundry/housekeeping staff was right there and she said they were gone. She then felt like I was been disrespectful because I asked her if she shared towels at home. She walked away and they never gave us new towels and didn’t clean the room the next three days we were there. We checked out a day early and the charged us a fee

The check in was fine. The rest was okay. The breakfast that goes until 9 was pretty much wrapped up at 8:15. I then had a choice of an apple, one piece of bread for toast, or cold cereal from a bin. The waffle machine was turned around and not for use.

Place is badly run down. A little breakfast or at least coffee would be nice.

So when we got there we had no remote. The pool wasn’t open. The breakfast consisted of toast and cereal. The bathtub had some type of bondo around the faucet in the tub. There was trash and cigarette butts behind the night stand. The dresser was broke. Then the second night my daughter had a cockroach showering with her. That’s when we decided to move hotels.

Very noisy, dirty, room, outside.property unkeep property, pool not open. Unsafe.feeling. breakfast no food except cereal, no coffe, watered dow. Juice watered down., waffles iron burned waffles.
