Amazing value for such a premium property! We were automatically upgraded during our August ‘25 stay and thoroughly enjoyed the serene spaciousness of our ocean-view, private pool room. Only downside was the time it took for hotel cars to come get us when called. We ended up walking down the slopes at times rather than wait around so not too big a deal. Wyndham Grand is also not within walking distance of marts or food vendors so be prepared to call a Grab (Asia’s version of Uber) or order from the hotel’s 24-hour room service. A gem of a place in Phuket and definitely recommend for a romantic getaway or even for young families (they had fun floaties to use at the community pool :)

The property was extremely nice. Literally just as beautiful as pictured. I love the app that’s suggested you download. You can do everything from the app including ordering a shuttle from the room to the welcome center to meet your grab(uber). There’s not much around the property so be sure to download the gran app to get the city which is like 10-15 minutes away. Most excursions were at least a 45-1 hour ride. The food was just ok, after ordering room service we didn’t eat at the resort, we would go in the city to get food which was cheaper and flavor wise overall better. I would recommend this resort 10/10 times.

Away from all the noise, room was great shower was dirty had mold spots on the wall asked for room service once but I guess they don’t scrub the walls 😅 if you have bolt app you can get a ride in minutes which was great, location is more peaceful but there is no 7 eleven near by to go get snacks to avoid room service prices, POOL AREA: really nice views & private just know water is freezing since it’s shaded lol and there are a lot of lizards but they do keep the mosquitoes away 😅 you will have to download the hotel app to order room service and rides to the lobby,towels etc. we had building J and the walk was steep and slippery in some spots. only walked that once 😆

The property is beautiful. The location with a vehicle is close to many activities. I enjoy how easy and convenient it was an access a taxi/car. The hotel staff overall was wonderful. I enjoyed both swimming pools, even though I had a private pool. The spa was absolutely wonderful.

Hotel was very nicely kept. Many amenities. Used the spa, the pools and restaurant/bar. Beautiful views too!! Great hotel for the investment. Downside, not walkable to shopping or other restaurants. Relied on public transportation to get around Phuket.

Really good hotel with many amenities. We had the private pool in the room but unfortunately was too cold and hard to enjoy it. It should have a heater. Everything like breakfast etc, was amazing.

Everything with the hotel was great except the pool sweet the water is to cold couldn’t Enjoy it if you do not mind getting in cold water then ok but do not spend the extra $ 1400 on the ocean view just get the regular pool sweet

I had a fantastic stay at the Wyndham Grand Kalim Phuket Hotel. The location is excellent, making it easy to access key areas like Patong via tuk-tuk or Grab. I spent five nights here and was impressed by the amenities and service. The hotel boasts a beautiful pool area with multiple pools to choose from, and the decor throughout the property is stunning. The gym is a standout feature—spacious, well-equipped, and perfect for a complete workout. The buffet was another highlight, offering a wide range of high-quality options, including international, Thai, Indian, Middle Eastern, and American cuisines. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. I also booked an airport transfer shuttle through the hotel, and their communication and attention to detail were exceptional. 10/10 Everything was fresh, clean, and decorated nicely. Very modern, the pool suite was so beautiful. The staff was top tier. Kind and helpful, I really appreciated how my room was refreshed daily. Would highly recommend. Just down the street from many cafes with the most breath taken views.

L’état général de l’hôtel est délabré pour un hôtel 5 étoiles et pas vieux moins de 5ans La propreté des chambres atroces : cafards de plusieurs sortes et tailles présents dans la chambres ce qui ne vous donne vraiment pas envie .

I feel betrayed as I booked a 5-star hotel from hotel.com. This property is nowhere near a 5 from what I experienced there. Had to call for help with luggage from my car as I arrived. The Check-in took forever. My room was in building B, which was walks away from the main area and restaurant. You take a shuttle to get to breakfast. Spider webs, water pools, condensates on walls, smelly in the walkways to the room. Room: Average. Counters in room weren’t clean. Sink faucet so flashy that water pooled everywhere. Towel shelf broken and hanging. Floor remains slippery from condensation. Called three times for a room service to get a robe replaced and weigh machine battery replaced. During check-out waited half hour for bell boy, finally taking the baggage by just ourselves. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you are expecting a pleasant 5-star experience.

The property is very dated and unkept. There is tiles missing in the pools paint chipping everywhere. Even housekeeping never did a great job cleaning. There would still be hair and dust on the floor

The Wyndham Grand Phuket is a beautiful hotel. My room offered an impressive view of the sea, and each morning I was greeted by a mesmerizing landscape. The hotel is conveniently located near Phuket's old town and beach, facilitating easy access to taxis. The staff members were friendly and demonstrated a commitment to customer service. I particularly appreciated the innovative feature that allows guests to order food to their rooms through a mobile application. However, there is an area in need of improvement regarding room conditions. Upon my initial check-in, the first room I was assigned exhibited a moldy odor; nonetheless, upon bringing this issue to the attention of the staff, my room was promptly changed.

As I was looking forward to staying at this hotel I was highly disappointed in the big infestation, baby spiders were all over our bed, I got bitten over 20 times and it wasn’t enjoyable. The hotel itself is very beautiful. Also the water was yellow. Very disappointing and all they offered was a $60 discount in US dollars how insulting

Wyndham Grand is also not within walking distance of marts or food vendors so be prepared to call a Grab (Asia’s version of Uber) or order from the hotel’s 24-hour room service. A gem of a place in Phuket and definitely recommend for a romantic getaway or even for young families (they had fun floaties to use at the community pool :)

Away from all the noise, room was great shower was dirty had mold spots on the wall asked for room service once but I guess they don’t scrub the walls 😅 if you have bolt app you can get a ride in minutes which was great, location is more peaceful but there is no 7 eleven near by to go get snacks to avoid room service prices, POOL AREA: really nice views & private just know water is freezing since it’s shaded lol and there are a lot of lizards but they do keep the mosquitoes away 😅 you will have to download the hotel app to order room service and rides to the lobby,towels etc. we had building J and the walk was steep and slippery in some spots. only walked that once 😆

10/10 Everything was fresh, clean, and decorated nicely. Very modern, the pool suite was so beautiful. The staff was top tier. Kind and helpful, I really appreciated how my room was refreshed daily. Would highly recommend. Just down the street from many cafes with the most breath taken views.

Great hotel, although it is on a very steep slope, you are encouraged to use the App to do any requests, which we found awkward? But the view and the pool in the room was beautiful.

The staff is pure heaven to work with....nothing but smiles. The property is too spread out and with multiple floors. The numbering system is complicated and makes no sense. Multiple floors demanded allot of uphill walking. wasn't able to use the gym it was not convenient. The staff is delightful; incredibly courteous, helpful, and friendly. My room had massive power lines that destroyed the ocean view. Not a 5 star experience.

Wouldn’t recommend if you like comfort! Facts: 1.If you’re in buildings A&B (none villa/pool rooms), it’s very noisy due to being near the main street. The view in the building is great and can see the beach. 2. They offer transportation which is an additional price but the vehicle is a Benz. 3. All grab and other transport are picked in building A&B. A walk for others. 4. Staff were nice! 5. Not far drive to Patong Beach, restaurants, and other attractions. 6. It’s away from the other hotels and places so it’s not as busy/congested 7. Rooms were clean and stocked. 8. Not walking distance to the beach. Opinions: I wish this was commented on more in the reviews which is the HARDNESS of the BEDS! Changed rooms and both beds were extremely hard. They do give you mattress pads to help but you really need more than one. 2. Food was okay. Not bad or great! 3. Amenities were not extravagant as the pictures made them look. 4. Rooms were old and dated. Needed some cosmetic enhancements.

This has been the best birthday/holiday hands down for me in my 44 years. From my first day of arrival l was greeted by (Van) Pongsak Pushkin, I can't say enough about this wonderful man, thank you for giving me the best experience ever!! Van was very professional and showed concern for every guest, he listen to my concerns and work on them immediately, even went out his way to make my 44 birthday memorable. As a solo traveler from Miami, Florida, I haven't came across customer service like this in years. The staff were friendly and treated me like family, I especially enjoyed how the staff called me by name or room number as they greeted me. I felt that was a nice touch to the whole experience. We enjoyed our stay here @ the Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay. From GM Dom to Front Desk Best and Restaurant Manager Egg to our fantastic hostess Pond we were made to feel very welcome and treated with the upmost courtesy throughout our stay. The resort has fantastic amenities and there are numerous cafe and restaurants nearby which have fantastic views across the bay. We leave with fantastic memories of a wonderful vacation in a truly magnificent location.

I had a fantastic stay at the Wyndham Grand Kalim Phuket Hotel. The location is excellent, making it easy to access key areas like Patong via tuk-tuk or Grab. I spent five nights here and was impressed by the amenities and service. The hotel boasts a beautiful pool area with multiple pools to choose from, and the decor throughout the property is stunning. Service was very poor and slow. We did a upgrade to our room as we was asking to give better (was our anniversary) and they give very bad room. After upgrade we was waiting 2,5 hours while we can go in (it was 2pm) ! The food we was ordering - always with mistakes.. The hotel is nice, but service very poor! Not recommende

Checking in was much more difficult than it needed to be. We had to fill out multiple pages of information before being asked for more money just to get our room key. Thankfully it was refundable but it would have been nice to know since we needed to withdraw more cash. Checking out was also frustrating as our flight didn’t leave from Phuket until 10 pm and the latest they could give us was 1pm. The bathrooms were also very small and the water pressure and temperature was inconsistent. They were also trying to sell us on their membership. They called our room multiple times(once while we were still sleeping) and then asked us to come see them at the front so they could try to convince us to pay more money for benefits we didn’t need.

The property was extremely nice. Literally just as beautiful as pictured. I love the app that’s suggested you download. You can do everything from the app including ordering a shuttle from the room to the welcome center to meet your grab(uber). There’s not much around the property so be sure to download the gran app to get the city which is like 10-15 minutes away. Most excursions were at least a 45-1 hour ride. The food was just ok, after ordering room service we didn’t eat at the resort, we would go in the city to get food which was cheaper and flavor wise overall better. I would recommend this resort 10/10 times.

Check in was fine, with staff bringing a beverage to each of us. Staff was friendly. But getting from different locations within the hotel to others are a hassle as the property is on a mountain. There are hotel shuttles that take you around, but it takes awhile sometimes. And you cannot walk out of property on your own, as there are no sidewalks and none of the markets or retailers are close to the hotel. Going out anywhere requires a car or taxi.

Excellent service, staff and hotel. Would definitely visit again. Great view and hotel provides a bus to the city hourly for 50 Baht each. Dive is only 15 min to the Patong beach and that place is crazy….

This hotel was wonderful in many ways!! The view is unbeatable, the staff were fabulous and the food was terrific!! I stayed with my adult granddaughter and we had a very large room with two beds. This arrangement was perfect for two travelers. The downfall is that it is not walkable to restaurants or shopping. It is really in a quiet location (which is unusual for Phuket)

Great hotel only 10 minutes from Patong but in a nice and calm area. Very friendly staff and clean and safe hotel overall. The pool suites overlooking the ocean were fantastic as well as the pool areas. Very good breakfast as well.

We really enjoyed the property and the room/view was beautiful. We also liked that it was slightly removed from Patong. The staff was kind and helpful as well. The only issue we had was that, although there were plenty of nice looking options, the food was below average for all of the meals served at the hotel.

We really enjoyed our 14 day stay at the hotel. The location and view from the room and pool is incredible and the staff is extremely helpful and service minded. The restaurant/room service and breakfast buffet is decent, but not Great. However the pricing of both is very reasonsble so its a good way to get a good cheap dinner, but dont expect a gourmet experience.

I enjoyed the in room dining service, it was very convenient. The staff were very hospitable and warm. The hotel room was nice and large, comfortable bedding and I enjoyed the tv channels available as well as the coffee and tea. It was also close to patong beach and to the tour booking facilities.

This is a very good hotel with rooms and private pools in each room. Clean and comfortable. With a very friendly and professional staff. Breakfast is good, but can be better. The dining options are a bit strange. The menu is not varied. Some dishes are very small (carpaccio, salads). Tom Yam is good.

Great place to stay and much recommended. Rooms are excellent and large. Get the ocean view rooms if taking the private pool category. They have cars to drop you around the resort unlike uncomfortable buggy’s some of the other hotels have in Phuket. Breakfast is quite elaborate and high quality. Sleep quality good. Van the resort manager along with the GM Dominic will attend to your requests if any. There airport transfers are VFM and extremely good. I opted for both coming and going back.

the bed was horrible, made it difficult to sleep. i've stayed in plenty of hotels around the world and this was the worst. i needed multiple massages after sleeping in that bed. horrible quality. check in was also so long for no reason. we waited over an hour for our room and was harassed by one of the club representative trying to sell us a membership. she was very negative and left a bad taste to the welcoming

This is hands down one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at! We booked the Premium Pool Suite, and it was huge, clean, and stunning. Arriving to rose petals and swan towels was so special, and the room's private pool was the best feature-we loved swimming at any time of day. The property has everything you need: a gym, two large pools, a great restaurant, and a beautiful ocean-view bar. Above all, the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this resort to everyone and can't wait to come back!
