Lovely little hotel was everything it promised. Great location, fabulous views and comfortable room. About the nicest bathroom I’ve ever seen in a European hotel. Breakfast buffet was small but very good with eggs made to order available. Evening aperitivi on the terrace to watch the sunset were a highlight. What made it great was the attentive and friendly staff. With such a small hotel you see the same few people every day, you know their names and they know you on sight. It has more of a family feel than a big impersonal hotel. Recommendations for restaurants were great. They handled all our reservations for us so we never waited in a line. Highly recommended

Wow. We had an incredible stay at La Dolce Vita. The staff helped coordinate transportation from their off location parking lot to the hotel, and upon entering the hotel we were met with the most beautiful view of the Sea as well as glasses of prosecco. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful with all of our needs - beach club daybeds/umbrellas, restaurant reservations, transportation, extra towels, and anything else we needed. We had delicious breakfasts and beautiful aperitivo out on the balcony with the best sunset views in Tropea. The ONLY drawback is the lack of parking onsite and that there is no elevator, so you may have to carry your bags up a few flights of stairs. We loved our stay and will absolutely be back.

Best view of the beach and ocean in the whole city. Staff and our room with the balcony were amazing. Made our stay very special and even made a cake for my wife’s bday. Can’t wait to come back!

Five stars do not do this hotel justice, a small boutique hotel tucked away in a busy part of Tropea, location was great and the view from the terrace over Tropea beach was incredible, sunset aperitivo is a must. However, the best part of our stay was the customer service, it is the best experience we have had in all our travels and we travel a lot. A huge call out to Cristina, she anticipated our every need, was really authentic and personable, also Gregor for his local knowledge of beaches to visit and casual chats. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back… thanks so much for such an incredible stay.
