This is a unique hotel, with only 9 rooms, it’s intimate, quiet and personal. We loved our stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. The room are beautiful, huge along with the bed. The shower is powerful and big. The owner works hard to create an oasis of calm, beauty and tranquility around the swimming pool area. It’s the perfect place to relax. Most of all the staff are well trained, friendly attentive and kind. We didn’t want to leave, it was so perfect.

Absolutely amazing stay at Shintana Saya. Staff were increadibly helpful and service oriented. My wife summed it up well - ,most zen hotel we have ever stayed at. Beautiful pool area, nice breakfast and nice small things like pieces of fresh fruit when we got back from our day sighteeing in Ankor. Strongly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful small hotel. Stayed in the Royal Suite. Lovely big room with good lounge area and a spacious bathroom with rainwater shower. Pool area is a welcome oasis in the heat. Great little restaurant with a good choice of breakfast. Staff were so friendly! Free Tuk Tuk in to town about 10 minutes away.

If you are going to Siem Reap - this is ABSOLUTELY the place to stay! “Friendly and Accommodating” would be an understatement. Everything from the welcome on arrival, packing breakfast for us when we had an early AM excursion to all of the amenities in the room (complimentary fruit, wine, beer) this is a gem! The owner met us and ensured we had a great stay, with only 9 rooms it is very safe and they know your name from the beginning of your stay till the end! The food and drinks were top notch at the bar and the pool area was very serene and relaxing! The free airport pick-up with a cracked coconut water ready and chilled and free Tuk Tuks into the city center were also a very nice perk. We only stayed for 3 days but could have absolutely made it longer because of this AMAZING hotel experience. Thank you!!

Highly recommending this 9-room boutique hotel providing a relief and relaxing stay in Siem Reap at close proximity to Angkor major sites. Over the top staff, very attentive and proactive to address the guests needs. For example, facilitating transfer from the airport, tuk-tuk rides, finding a guide and driver for the small circle tour from sunrise to sunset. I stayed 2 nights and enjoyed having delicious food and service ( 2 breakfasts and 1 lunch). I also got some rest at the pool early afternoon during the hear of the day between 2 temple visits.

This place was amazing! What a wonderful oasis truly. My room was enormous (room 999), the staff was fantastic, friendly, attentive, kind. This is a small boutique hotel a bit off the beaten path and when you drive up you might get a little surprised as the area it is in is not gorgeous….but as soon as you cross the entry, you are transported into this peaceful Shangri-La…beautiful decor …lush greenery…wonderful pool…and did I mention the rooms?? They cater to your every need…including a free tuk-tuk to town as needed. Book it immediately…it is totally worth the money…I didn’t want to leave. Thank you to David and everyone there for making my stay so memorable!!

Amazing end to end experience from airport pickup to airport dropoff. The airport pickup was on time and we were welcomed by a cold towel and a fresh coconut which was refreshing under the hot and humid Cambodia weather. When we arrived the hotel, all the hotel staffs came to welcome us and make us feel home. The room 111 is spacious and well maintained, and we were served with a complementary fruit and cheese plate with a bottle of wine. The entire mansion is like a paradise and you can truly relax with all the plantations and the swimming pool. The tuk tuk from hotel to downtown Siem Reap is free of charge and it is also recommended to take the return trip with the same tuk tuk as the other tuk tuk may have difficulties locating the hotel. The tuk tuk driver was also responsive and will arrive within minutes. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices with Western and local cuisine. The airport dropoff was not inclusive ($35), but this hotel can give us surprise at the end of our stay with its surperb service. Our room was on the 2nd floor, and when I opened the door and ready to move our luggage downstairs, the staff was already outside of our room and help us to move our luggages downstairs. This is very thoughtful and highly appreciated, and the return trip to the airport was also great with the staff introducing other parts of Cambodia. Overall, a top notch experience in Siem Reap and highly recommended.

Many apologies for this late submission. My sister, her friend (the two of them shared a room) and I booked two rooms in January 3025. Very simply, we were treated like royalty; the service was faultless, the spacious rooms were impeccable, and every one was most helpful. The dining area, while small, served fresh juices and coconut water for the asking and the chef was eager to customise the breakfast offering, which was sumptuous. Also, the hotel arranged all local transport which could go on the bill. Although the location may appear to be a bit far from the hourly-burly of the town Center, it’s only 10 minutes away from an auto-rickshaw ride. Would stay at this lovely oasis anytime.

The driver greeted us at the airport upon arrival. On the one-hour ride to the hotel, he provided a cold towel for us to freshen up and fresh coconut juice to enjoy. We felt very welcoming. We had connecting rooms for our group of five. The rooms are very spacious. There are couches and chairs for everyone to sit to enjoy their ME time. The only place that showed signs of aging was the bathroom shower. There was rust and water stains. In addition, we would prefer a hand-held shower instead of one hanging high from the ceiling. The staff members were polite, attentive, and extremely helpful. Our flight left late in the afternoon, and we were allowed to check out at 3:30 (instead of noon) without additional cost. We had a very comfortable stay at this hotel, and we plan to stay there again on our next trip to Siem Reap.

From the staff to the owner, to the drivers, everyone at Shintana Saya Residence was extremely friendly and helpful. They gave me and my husband the best welcome and kept the same high level of attention through the end of our stay. The place is really clean, quiet, and close to the temples. We totally recommend this place and we look forward to staying at Shintana Saya Residence again.

This Hotel was amazing! We got stuck in Cambodia for an extra day and needed a place to stay. I saw the 5/5 star review and gave it a go… wow! I was not disappointed! The Hotel is so beautiful! It’s quiet and tranquil! The food was amazing! Everyone on the staff was so accommodating! David the owner created us on arrival as well. I felt so welcome! There was cheese, cashews, fruit and wine waiting for us in the room. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and everything was very clean. All in all this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in!

Clean and spacious rooms. - it is like a home away from home - breakfast, laundry and even drinks taken care by the hotel Khmer hospitality at its best, their staff is extremely caring and helpful. Good choice of breakfast, which includes vegetarian choices. Would love to visit it again in future I would love to recommend Som and Lalin for their kindness. They are so good.

This place was amazing! What a wonderful oasis truly. My room was enormous (room 999), the staff was fantastic, friendly, attentive, kind. This is a small boutique hotel a bit off the beaten path and when you drive up you might get a little surprised as the area it is in is not gorgeous….but as soon as you cross the entry, you are transported into this peaceful Shangri-La…beautiful decor …lush greenery…wonderful pool…and did I mention the rooms?? They cater to your every need…including a free tuk-tuk to town as needed. Book it immediately…it is totally worth the money…I didn’t want to leave. Thank you to David and everyone there for making my stay so memorable!!

Wonderful small hotel. Stayed in the Royal Suite. Lovely big room with good lounge area and a spacious bathroom with rainwater shower. Pool area is a welcome oasis in the heat. Great little restaurant with a good choice of breakfast. Staff were so friendly! Free Tuk Tuk in to town about 10 minutes away.

I have stayed in a lot of really great hotels, and this hotel definitely is one of the top! More of a private villa, rather than a hotel, this place is sooo beautifully done with its attention to details, decorations and landscape. It is intimate and exclusive without being pretentious. The rooms are large and well appointed. Even the soaking tub is gorgeous Most of all though, the staff is TOP NOTCH. They are there to help you in every way to make your vacation wonderful. I really loved and feel grateful to have met everyone at the hotel, including the owner. I give this place a 10/10 and encourage everyone to stay there if you are in Siem Reap!!!! Will miss this place and the staff!

The driver greeted us at the airport upon arrival. On the one-hour ride to the hotel, he provided a cold towel for us to freshen up and fresh coconut juice to enjoy. We felt very welcoming. We had connecting rooms for our group of five. The rooms are very spacious. There are couches and chairs for everyone to sit to enjoy their ME time. The only place that showed signs of aging was the bathroom shower. There was rust and water stains. In addition, we would prefer a hand-held shower instead of one hanging high from the ceiling. The staff members were polite, attentive, and extremely helpful. Our flight left late in the afternoon, and we were allowed to check out at 3:30 (instead of noon) without additional cost. We had a very comfortable stay at this hotel, and we plan to stay there again on our next trip to Siem Reap.

A small hotel with extremely nice people ready to take care of you. A 5 min tuk-tuk ride to the Pub Street area offered complimentary by the hotel. A very large room with very good beds and pillows, a large and clean bathroom, all providing a good night sleep. If we had a suggestion would be an inside/covered breakfast/dinner area. We would gladly stay here again.

We just checked out and didn't want to leave. This hotel is amazing. The room we had was huge, beds comfortable, and well appointed. The staff were exceptional and catered to our every need. They arranged Tuk Ruk rides and tours for us. We were only here 2 nights but wish we could have stayed longer. Food at the restaurant was great too!

Absolutely loved our stay. Everyone was very hospitable. The pick up at the airport was not only convenient but very comfortable ride back in a luxury vehicle with fresh coconut water. The room was lovely and very close to Angkor wat. Wonderful boutique experience!

This was some of the best service I have ever received from a hotel. They went above and beyond, to the point where the staff gave us a ride to the airport. Grounds were pretty, good was great and the pool after a day in Ankor was not to be beat. It's a little outside of the main tourist area in Siem Reap but it was very easy to get to pub street and the night markets. I booked this place based upon their reviews. You should too!

We had a wonderful stay at Shintana Saya. All of the staff were fantastic and so helpful. They provided free tuktuk rides into town. The resort was very quiet and had a lovely pool and restaurant.

Well, where do I start! This is probably the best customer experience I’ve ever had from a hotel. We booked a room with an airport pickup included along with 2 x 60 min massages a day. From the moment we were greeted at the airport we were treated like royalty, the transfer was smooth and we were immediately provided with a cold flannel and fresh ice cold coconut. Our room was brilliant and comes with a mini fridge with complementary water and soft drinks. The food in the hotel is really, really good. Our first night we ate at the hotel and we were not disappointed one bit and it was very well priced. We took advantage of a guided Ankor Wat Sunrise tour which is a must do which the hotel organised for us. Throughout the day we were given ice cold flannels and bottled water. The hotel offers a free one way Tuktuk ride into town which only takes about 10 mins. When we were ready to come back we simply WhatsApp’d the driver to collect us for $3 (US), which could be added to your room bill if you didn’t have cash. On leaving the hotel pretty much all staff on site came to wave us goodbye including the chef’s who we’d not seen. That level of detail sums up the hotel and the great leadership it has from Sy. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough, it’s a quality place but it’s the staff and its people that make this a place I will never ever forget and hope to return to sometime in the future. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

I have traveled to 88 countries and stayed in maybe a thousand hotels over my life. This was maybe the best hotel experience I have ever had. The staff was incredible, it's a great value, and the hotel, with only 9 rooms, feels cozy and luxurious at the same time. When we left the entire staff came out to say goodbye. We are already planning another trip to Siem Reap to stay in this hotel.

This is an amazing property -- like staying in a private villa. I was worried after I booked it that it might be too small to have services but the service was amazing. The staff are incredible, particularly Sy, and they arranged everything that we needed. They hotel has their own cars and tuk tuk drivers so you have dependable transportation. The hotel is on a quiet street away from the noisy part of the city and closer to the temple sites. It is very quiet compared to hotels in the city. The rooms and grounds are beautiful.

Staff and service were so fantastic. My 11 year old said she felt like royalty! They greeted me by name with so many welcome drinks, fruit and extras every day. Wonderful communication and set up tours for us with fantastic drivers and guide. The property itself is so beautiful and welcoming. We had 2 suites connected with so much room. They opened early for breakfast on our departure day so we didn’t miss out. Absolutely outstanding!

Many apologies for this late submission. My sister, her friend (the two of them shared a room) and I booked two rooms in January 3025. Very simply, we were treated like royalty; the service was faultless, the spacious rooms were impeccable, and every one was most helpful. The dining area, while small, served fresh juices and coconut water for the asking and the chef was eager to customise the breakfast offering, which was sumptuous. Also, the hotel arranged all local transport which could go on the bill. Although the location may appear to be a bit far from the hourly-burly of the town Center, it’s only 10 minutes away from an auto-rickshaw ride. Would stay at this lovely oasis anytime.

The Shintana Saya is FANTASTIC!!! It is a small hotel in a residential area of Siem Reap. It is not in a walkable part of the city with shops & restaurants nearby. We were there to visit Angkor Wat and only visited the city for dinner. The hotel has everything you need: start with a living room and separate bedroom. The breakfast is great--outdoors by the pool. Its a short taxi ride to the city for dinner--great choices. And the hotel arranged a taxi and guide for two days at Angkor Wat & the other temples. Cost: USD 190 absolutely excellent service and expertise. Easy to recommend--Excellent. hotel.

If you are going to Siem Reap - this is ABSOLUTELY the place to stay! “Friendly and Accommodating” would be an understatement. Everything from the welcome on arrival, packing breakfast for us when we had an early AM excursion to all of the amenities in the room (complimentary fruit, wine, beer) this is a gem! The owner met us and ensured we had a great stay, with only 9 rooms it is very safe and they know your name from the beginning of your stay till the end! The food and drinks were top notch at the bar and the pool area was very serene and relaxing! The free airport pick-up with a cracked coconut water ready and chilled and free Tuk Tuks into the city center were also a very nice perk. We only stayed for 3 days but could have absolutely made it longer because of this AMAZING hotel experience. Thank you!!
If you are going to Siem Reap - this is ABSOLUTELY the place to stay! “Friendly and Accommodating” would be an understatement. Everything from the welcome on arrival, packing breakfast for us when we had an early AM excursion to all of the amenities in the room (complimentary fruit, wine, beer) this is a gem! Well, where do I start! This is probably the best customer experience I’ve ever had from a hotel. We booked a room with an airport pickup included along with 2 x 60 min massages a day. From the moment we were greeted at the airport we were treated like royalty, the transfer was smooth and we were immediately provided with a cold flannel and fresh ice cold coconut. Our room was brilliant and comes with a mini fridge with complementary water and soft drinks. The food in the hotel is really, really good. Our first night we ate at the hotel and we were not disappointed one bit and it was very well priced. We took advantage of a guided Ankor Wat Sunrise tour which is a must do which the hotel organised for us. Throughout the day we were given ice cold flannels and bottled water. The hotel offers a free one way Tuktuk ride into town which only takes about 10 mins. When we were ready to come back we simply WhatsApp’d the driver to collect us for $3 (US), which could be added to your room bill if you didn’t have cash. On leaving the hotel pretty much all staff on site came to wave us goodbye including the chef’s who we’d not seen. That level of detail sums up the hotel and the great leadership it has from Sy. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough, it’s a quality place but it’s the staff and its people that make this a place I will never ever forget and hope to return to sometime in the future. Very nice boutique hotel, very clean, excellent decor, friendly and helpful staff. Free breakfast was cooked to order, not a buffet very nice. Menu for dinner and lunch was excellent and well prepared.

We stayed in this beautiful boutique hotel for 4 nights and had an amazing time. From their airport pickup service we were treated like royalty! The hotel is a few min from the temples so our commute to the temples were quick and easy. The hotel has only 9 rooms so the service you receive is very attentive and friendly. Oh and their breakfast pho was my favorite dish in their menu!

An amazing boutique hotel with incredible staff led by Mr Sy who ensured everything went smoothly and we loved every minute of our stay. The food options are delicious and the smoothies (especially mango) wonderful at the end of touring temples or other activities. Our room was large and extremely comfortable, with daily housekeeping provided. The guide arranged by the hotel called ‘Tiger’ was exceptional and we recommend him if he’s available. Honestly, we only have positive and happy vibes about our experience and we felt sad to leave after our 8 days and hope to return in the future. Thank you for making our first time in Cambodia so memorable.

The best hotel we ever visited. Clean and spacious rooms. - it is like a home away from home - breakfast, laundry and even drinks taken care by the hotel Khmer hospitality at its best, their staff is extremely caring and helpful. Good choice of breakfast, which includes vegetarian choices. Would love to visit it again in future I would love to recommend Som and Lalin for their kindness. They are so good.

Le séjour a été fantastique. Tout est fait pour que l’on se sente parfaitement bien. Les prestations sont dignes de celle des plus grands resorts asiatiques avec un niveau de confort qui se confirme dès l’arrivée à l’aéroport et le chauffeur qui vous attend avec eau de coco et serviette rafraîchissante. Le staff de l’hôtel est aux petits soins et fait son max pour répondre aux demandes. Après 2 jours dans cet hôtel, nous ne pouvons que le recommander très fortement

This is one of the most impressive 5 star properties I’ve ever stayed in. From the quality of construction of the building and all facilities to the staff attention to detail. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else when I next return. The rooms are enormous, and all of a very high standard. To make things even more convenient the company drivers delivered us to/from the airport and the tuk tuk driver took us to town and back each night, even though it’s possible to not leave the hotel as the restaurant quality is amazing.

We had a lovely stay at this accommodation. It was very Lux without the massive costs. Massage everyday, free tuk tuk transportation into the city centre where all the action is. Hotel airport pickup was easy, and the tours of the temples that they organised for us with English tour guide was very helpful to learn all about the area and history. Everyone was helpful and attentive to all our needs. If I travel back to Cambodia, I will definitely be staying here again.
