If you are looking for a budget friendly place to stay, then i highly recommend Cogo Tennoji Hostel. It is in a ideal place, close to many shopping malls and only a 20 minute train ride to Dotonbori. The staff is super friendly and very welcoming. Whwn i cone back to Osake, this is the only place that i will be staying at.

The private room was exactly what was advertised and what we needed. More counter space in the bathroom would have been nice. One of the employees overcharged me for detergent pods.

walking distance to tennoji station, close to many attraction. A plus is I got to sleep on futon and tatami for an extra authentic Japanese experience.
