Our check in was very problematic. The codes sent did not work. The luggage storage code was incorrect. Then the hall door code was incorrect. The live chat person eventually helped us out by issuing a new code, but that took over 20 minutes. Then the laundry facilities on our floor was missing a drier, so we needed to use laundry facilities on other floors. This made for a very hectic, unrestful evening.

Excellent hotel - everything as advertised and pictured. Especially fond of the onsite free laundry for all of the sweaty, rainy hikes. Very close to ring road while convenient to city center. Wouldn’t change a thing.

Spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable apartment. Easy instructions to check-in. Close to a deli/restaurant, supermarket, and bakery. Free parking. Apartment building has 6 floors but only 2 washers and dryers on second floor. So it is always busy.

I chose this property for the washer dryer. It was a disaster. The circuit kept tripping. Had to make a call. There’s only one set for the whole floor and the dryer never did dry the clothes. I had to hang my clothes all over the apartment. The shower and sink drains were clogged and the night light switch was broken next to bed. Also only one sleeping pillow per person.

Located in an easy accessible part in the Reykjavik area, just on the outskirts of the city. The room itself was clean and well setup. The area was quite, with gas stations and grocery stores nearby

People planning to travel south, can use this apartment. Lovely location. Neat surroundings and calm. Right in the southern edge of kopavoegur and superb access to routine 1 towards south. Going into Reykjavik is around 10 kms and easy to drive on. Ample free parking. For self driven cars, this Icelandic apartment is one of the best.

Clean, roomy room with plenty of parking. Safe area surrounded by fitness facilities and a supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away. Close to major roads and easy access to and from Keflavík International Airport. Easy access into city center.

everything is remote access - having no access to phone or text during our trip posed to be an issue. Roaming had to be engaged to reach the office as our room door code did not work and we could not get in, very frustrating at the end of a long day with kids and bags around not being able to get in or reach anyone - perhaps a phone in the building for this reason would be good or a way to reach the office directly. Once home i got a bunch of instructions and messages via text. this part was disappointing. the hotel was clean. laundry area was common, only 2 machines and one dryer was broken hard to access the use.

Arrived around 3:30 pm to find my room hadn't been cleaned. I found the cleaner working down the hall and was told it would be another 45mins before my room would be ready. I had reached out to the property earlier to see if an early check-in was available, and told that would likely not happen and incur a, "small" fee of $45 euro. I requested a partial refund for the room not being ready as promised, to which I heard nothing. I contacted them twice, no response at all. The room was satisfactory albeit showing signs of wear all over. Cracked toilet seat, warping trim and edging. It did not live up to the expectations set by others or the property. I was disappointed.

Modern apartment near a grocery store and bakery. The unit itself was clean but lacked some amenities. There were no black out curtains so it was bright at night. The shower basin was too small and you had to shut the shower off several times to let it drain so it wouldn’t flood the floor.

Our stay at Icelandic Apartments was absolutely outstanding and made our Iceland trip even more memorable. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless—check-in was smooth, the apartment was spotless, and the staff were warm, friendly, and happy to help with anything we needed. The apartment itself was modern, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made it easy to cook meals after long days of exploring. Die Ausstattung war super und an den meisten Stellen sauber. Vereinzelt wurden aber fremde Haare in der Dusche, auf dem Klo gefunden und der Putzlappen für die Küche war ebenso voller Haare und Fusseln, für den Gebrauch nicht geeignet. Die große Enttäuschung war der Ausblick und die Kommunikation mit Icelandic Appartements. Gebucht hatte ich ein Appartement mit Seeblick, wofür man extra bezahlte. Doch erhalten hab ich eine Wohnung im 2. Stock mit Blick auf eine kaputte Betonterrasse! Absolut hässlich!! Und in keinster Weise das, worauf man sich schon die ganze Zeit gefreut hatte. Zudem hab ich anfangs eine Telefonnummer von Icelandic Department erhalten, die NICHT funktionierte. Auch Expedia konnte die Unterkunft telefonisch NICHT erreichen. Sehr enttäuschend und unprofessionell. Aber enttäuschender war, dass KEINE zufriedenstellende Lösung seitens der Unterkunft angeboten werden konnte. Neben late-check out und Rabatt für zukünftige Buchungen, was natürlich sehr unrealistisch ist, kam KEIN weiterer Vorschlag, der auf uns gemünzt gewesen wäre. Wir sollten einfach ihre Entschuldigung akzeptieren. Das war's! Daher SEHR ENTTÄUSCHT und ich würde NICHT mehr eine Übernachtung dort buchen. Ohne die Vorhänge ständig geschlossen zu haben, hätten wir auch die 2 Nächte nicht ausgehalten. Hätte ich vorher gewusst, wie mein Aufenthalt bei Icelandic Appartements aussehen würde, hätte DEFINITIV woanders gebucht!!!

Great apartment! Spacious with large windows and blackout curtains. With fully equipped kitchen that was very convenient. Supermarket across the street. The bed and even unfoldable couch were super comfortable. About 15 min drive from downtown Reykjavik. It was easy to communicate with management throughout texting. I would definitely stay there again

we stayed there for two nights.The room was booked for four adults. the lights did not work properly, washroom had sulphur smell.None of us were Able to shower because of the strong smell. cleanliness was just average. My husband had to use the sofa bed which was very uncomfortable, we called Customer service and the woman said she was not able to fix the problem today but she will definitely switch us to another, better room tomorrow.To our disappointment we didn't hear from her the next day and we had to live in the same room! We were very upset with the whole customer service.I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The customer service lady also said that she'll escalate our complaint to the manager, but the issue was not resolved and she didn't even call back.

Good location for driving into the city, free parking, and clean. We appreciated having a small kitchen to prepare our own food, with dishes and cutlery provided. Check in was smooth but it was hard to get sheets and pillowcases for the sofa bed (they were not in our room upon arrival and we had to go find them ourselves on another floor). No blackout curtains - the curtains are red so the best you get is a red-tinted light. The room was extremely hot and humid despite the cool temperatures outside. We couldn’t open the window because it was basically a door that opened onto the roof, which would have been very unsafe for our young daughter. The water smells like sulphur, which is not an issue we encountered in the other accommodations we stayed in in Reykjavík. Overall, this apartment was acceptable, but we would not stay here again.

Booked a standard apartment. It was fine as a base and the location suited us as we had rented a car and planned days out. Plenty of free parking. Furniture was all fine and sofa bed ok for an adult. Disappointing view of the car park and gym in opposite building. Apartment did have an odd smell (seemed a different issue to the expected sulphur smell in the bathroom). Kitchen equipment quite limited. Heating was good. Didnt sleep too well - think road noise and an intermittent humming noise had an impact. Check in process worked fine. Overall, it was ok but would probably try elsewhere in future.
Booked a standard apartment. It was fine as a base and the location suited us as we had rented a car and planned days out. Plenty of free parking. Furniture was all fine and sofa bed ok for an adult. Disappointing view of the car park and gym in opposite building. Apartment did have an odd smell (seemed a different issue to the expected sulphur smell in the bathroom). Kitchen equipment quite limited. Heating was good. Didnt sleep too well - think road noise and an intermittent humming noise had an impact. Check in process worked fine. Overall, it was ok but would probably try elsewhere in future.

Loved the apartment. It comes with stove top and microwave. No oven. Only issue is that road noise is loud on second floor and crosswalk timer is very loud to the point of distraction. View of valley is stunning. Black out curtains could be better.

Nice apartment close to everything, across from Bónus supermarket! Easy parking! It is a self serving apartment so there is no one on site and we had a bit of difficulty checking in. They said they sent me an email, however, I didn’t receive it.

Really comfortable accommodation, beautiful view of mountains. Close to basic supermarket for convenience. Easy access to explore if have own transport. About 15 mins drive into city centre. On third day we had an issue with our key card access to the room, the owner came out and assisted with getting us back in. Would definitely stay again.

Our check in was very problematic. The codes sent did not work. The luggage storage code was incorrect. Then the hall door code was incorrect. The live chat person eventually helped us out by issuing a new code, but that took over 20 minutes. Then the laundry facilities on our floor was missing a drier, so we needed to use laundry facilities on other floors. This made for a very hectic, unrestful evening.

The property felt like home away from home. It was close to the city 15 mins by car. The grocery store was across the street within walking distance. The apartment was spacious. It had all the amenity needed as my home would have, cook top, refrigerator, nice closet for storage, comfy sofa, shared washing machine and dryer in all floors. The property manager was quick in answering all questions no matter today or night. I did not want to leave. Best experience I have had staying away from home. It was also quiet and clean.

The property itself is fine. Utilitarian. They have washing machines on the 2nd floor. After checking in my door lock battery crapped out. It took them 4 hours to fix the door. I missed a good chunk of my tour, waiting for it to be fixed. All my stuff was inside the unit and they offered another room to me which made no sense. They refused to offer any compensation.

Be aware that if you book here, you will not be able to contact or speak to anyone at any point during your stay. We were hoping for a slightly early check in as we arrived at 4am and were very tired by 2pm. No one to contact for that. So we sat around for an hour. Whatever, thats fine but the biggest issue was our code did not work for the front door of the building at all. We were panicking because there was no way to get a hold of anyone at all. The number on the front of the building was out of service, there is no front desk like it says there is, and no contact information through expedia. I tried the chat and that is a joke, just took me in circles offering no help. Luckily our saving grace was another family arrived who experienced the same issue and had an alternate code. Please fix this issue!!! Very stressful when you arrive at 10pm and can't get in to your accommodation and can't get a hold of anyone.

Great apartment! Spacious with large windows and blackout curtains. With fully equipped kitchen that was very convenient. Supermarket across the street. The bed and even unfoldable couch were super comfortable. About 15 min drive from downtown Reykjavik. It was easy to communicate with management throughout texting. I would definitely stay there again

Het gebouw met 7 verdiepingen staat op een heuvel, waardoor je een mooi uitzicht hebt. In een aantal km rijden zit je buiten de stad en kun je het noorderlicht zien. Het is makkelijk met de auto bereikbaar, rondom het gebouw kun je prima gratis parkeren. Er is een supermarkt op loopafstand. Het appartement is rustig en netjes. Een nadeel vond ik dat er geen aparte slaapkamers waren.

People planning to travel south, can use this apartment. Lovely location. Neat surroundings and calm. Right in the southern edge of kopavoegur and superb access to routine 1 towards south. Going into Reykjavik is around 10 kms and easy to drive on. Ample free parking. For self driven cars, this Icelandic apartment is one of the best.

Clean and kitchen is useful as it is pretty expensive in Iceland. No room cleaning services offered but you can get more towels and stuff you need from the office. It's 40mins away from KEF airport. Car must have. I will come back.

We booked two rooms. One was very nice and one had a lot of water damage to the floors and bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was very easy to get in with the codes that are text’d to you. It was very convenient having laundry on each floor but the power kept kicking off and had to reset the breaker. Took a very long time for my laundry to dry. There are a couple restaurants in walking distance, a bakery and a grocery store. Parking was very easy. Appreciated the blackout curtains. Overall it was a good stay!

Lejligheden ligger i udkanten af byen hvilket gør det let at komme på ture ud på øen. Der er et supermarked i nærheden. Rummelig lejlighed med gode senge og lækkert sengetøj. Der er lejligheder til begge sider af boligkomplekset hvilket betyder at man kan være uheldig og få udsigt til en parkeringsplads og ikke en udsigt som vist på hjemmesiden. Det er ligt ærgerligt… Fysisk adgang til boligkomplekset og de enkelte lejligheder fås via en kode som indtastes på en digitalt display på dørerne. Det kan drille lidt. Kommer vil til Island igen vil dette sted være et oplagt overnatningssted.
