The hotel is nicely situated on the river, and we enjoyed dinner sitting outside overlooking the water. The staff were friendly and attentive. A complimentary glass of Prosecco is offered on arrival. A couple of reservations: the main door of the hotel is kept closed in summer for security reasons, but the signage to the entrance is confusing and sent us round in a circle — not a good start. The restaurant was hosting a bottomless brunch, which was pretty noisy. Happily it didn’t last into the evening. Our room was described as a superior king. However, it was very small, with a smallish window that didn’t let in much light. It was very hot overnight, making it difficult to sleep. We returned to the front desk to enquire about the inconsistency between the description of the room and the reality. Richard on the front desk was very understanding, acknowledging that the room was “not the biggest”. As the hotel was fully booked, he could not move us. He did, however, offer us a complimentary bottle of wine. Next time, we’ll specifically ask for one of the larger superior king rooms. We were left wondering what the standard rooms are like.

Gorgeous hotel with impeccable and friendly service. Our two bed apartment was huge, luxurious, with a lovely view overlooking the river. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, we had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch there and a delicious breakfast. Unfortunately we only stayed one night.

Browns was an excellent hotel - only stayed for one night but wish we were there for longer. Will definitely go back. We were upgraded to an apartment which was great to have the extra space with a Juliette balcony overlooking the river. Food was excellent had lunch and breakfast was included and couldn’t fault it. Apartment had a fully working kitchen with fresh milk in the fridge which was a nice touch. No car park but the pay and display was very close by so very easy and it cost about £11 for 24 hours which I didn’t feel was bad. Staff were great and accommodating and efficient- can’t wait to come back for longer next time.

Excellent and worthy of this 2nd visit. Opulence throughout, no expense spared on making and keeping this hotel at a high level. Room, hotel, restaurant and food all of the very best quality. 1 star off as on both days breakfast took almost an hour. Location is perfect, public parking nearby.

The room was gorgeous and in general, the location was perfect, very central and down by the river. But if you are a solo traveller and early riser, spending the evening in the room was made a bit sour because of the very loud music from the hotel restaurant, even through the closed window. Also, the WiFi was totally unreliable, which was annoying.

It would be 5 star except the summer’s day was particularly hot and although there was a fan, there was no sheet - just a duvet, so this option could be provided when warm. The view from my room of the river was lovely though. The tap in room 204 can leak.

First impressions were great however , we visited on a very hot day and found the room to be uncomfortable at night when trying to sleep, there was a fan available but it was so noisy we had to turn it off. When we opened the windows we were aware of the noise from the street and did not sleep well. The room was lovely and decorated to a high standard. Our evening meal was great however breakfast not so good. Overall this is a lovely hotel in a great location just not on extremely hot days .

We had the perfect stay. We had Severn Suite which is just stunning. Comfortable super king bed, great shower. Fresh milk great selection of teas/coffee Wonderful view of the river.

We loved the staff. They were so helpful. The glass of Prosecco was a lovely touch when we arrived. Love the late checkout and late breakfast option too. The only downside was the noise through the walls in the accommodation - heard literally everything!!! That meant sleep was an issue.

Nice hotel, good service, very good breakfast. Great location. Booked a ‘deluxe family room’ - stayed in room 204 - it would be a real stretch to consider this a deluxe family room. Given the noise outside this hotel is probably not best suited to families - but were we travelling without children this would be ideal.

I booked Browns a few months ago as it was centrally located and close to the cricket ground. I wrongly believed it was part of the Browns chain but it is certainly not. I was particularly impressed by the service and the presence of several experienced staff (or owners perhaps) who ran the hotel and catering services very well indeed. There is an extensive breakfast menu and generous portions appeared. A big thumbs up for the coffee too and for lunch a beautifully presented croquetta with pickled vegetables (one of the best I've had). A complimentary glass of fizz was offered when we arrived. The room was very comfortable and included a couple of pods for the Nespresso machine and complimentary water. There was a strong flowing shower which I like. Finally the tariff was very good value so we'll be back if we return to Worcester one day.

I was particularly impressed by the service and the presence of several experienced staff (or owners perhaps) who ran the hotel and catering services very well indeed. There is an extensive breakfast menu and generous portions appeared. A big thumbs up for the coffee too and for lunch a beautifully presented croquetta with pickled vegetables (one of the best I've had). A complimentary glass of fizz was offered when we arrived. The room was very comfortable and included a couple of pods for the Nespresso machine and complimentary water. There was a strong flowing shower which I like. Finally the tariff was very good value so we'll be back if we return to Worcester one day.

I book and payed for Suite room but when we arrive I was told they’ve given it to others and was offered standard double room for 2 person which is way a lot cheaper and smaller room, they offered to squeeze in another bed but I refused as there’s no enough space there’s a bath tub at the end of our bed where the staff told us he will fit the bed for my son very disappointed as I chose to spend more for our comfort after a long travel but was desmay and lied to my face that is the same price.

The hotels setting was lovely on the banks of the River Severn yet and easy walk to the city centre and main sights. Our room was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, well presented and freshly cooked to order. We had a nice evening meal in the restaurant.

Wonderful time and we were especially lucky as they upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite overlooking the river. Fabulous hotel,amazing central location, excellent friendly service and delicious waiter served breakfast . Just spoil yourself and book it you definitely won't be disappointed !!

Gorgeous hotel with impeccable and friendly service. Our two bed apartment was huge, luxurious, with a lovely view overlooking the river. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, we had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch there and a delicious breakfast. Unfortunately we only stayed one night.

I have stayed here before and know it is well appointed, good food and great rooms. What made it stand out this time was, I knew I would have to be away before breakfast was served. In telling the manager, he and the staff then did their best to sort something out for me. During the evening of the night before, I was supplied with cereal, yoghurt and fresh fruit to have as breakfast before I left. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent and worthy of this 2nd visit. Opulence throughout, no expense spared on making and keeping this hotel at a high level. Room, hotel, restaurant and food all of the very best quality. 1 star off as on both days breakfast took almost an hour. Location is perfect, public parking nearby.

Wonderful place with friendly staff, spacious and comfortable rooms, excellent food and a lovely welcome. Greeted with a glass of Prosecco, I was assisted to my room and made to feel very welcome. It was a freezing cold day, but the room was lovely and warm. The bathroom was toasty - so different from other hotels I’ve stayed at recently. Massive, comfy bed! Nespresso machine and fridge in the room as well as a kettle and a range of teas. Waking up to a view of the river on a sunny day, with swans and geese all over the place, was a great way to start the day, and it got better as breakfast was amazing! Lovely welcome, plenty of drinks offered, and the range of choices was superb. I opted for the eggs Benedict - cooked to perfection! I’ve previously had the yogurt and granola with fruit compote as well as the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup - all delicious and faultless. For those with a big appetite, you’re not limited to one choice either! I have been here before and will continue to go back!

This lovely small hotel has been beautifully remodeled from an old factory with original exposed beams and columns. Lovely large room with nice views of the river with swans gliding past. Had dinner and breakfast here and food was great. Staff is super nice. Very close to cathedral, shops, restaurants and river walk. Honestly can't fault it at all. Would recommend.

Lovely property in a great location near shopping food historical sites and nature! Couldn't ask for more. The river walk to the cathedral and Friar street is the cherry on top. Wonderful staff, helpful, friendly and professional. Breakfast was delicious!! Didn't try dinner as they close early on Sundays. The room was amazing, loved the style and decorations. I will always stay there when in Worcester!

Nice hotel, good service, very good breakfast. Great location. Booked a ‘deluxe family room’ - stayed in room 204 - it would be a real stretch to consider this a deluxe family room. Given the noise outside this hotel is probably not best suited to families - but were we travelling without children this would be ideal.

The room was gorgeous and in general, the location was perfect, very central and down by the river. But if you are a solo traveller and early riser, spending the evening in the room was made a bit sour because of the very loud music from the hotel restaurant, even through the closed window. Also, the WiFi was totally unreliable, which was annoying.

I booked Browns a few months ago as it was centrally located and close to the cricket ground. I wrongly believed it was part of the Browns chain but it is certainly not. First impressions were great however , we visited on a very hot day and found the room to be uncomfortable at night when trying to sleep, there was a fan available but it was so noisy we had to turn it off. When we opened the windows we were aware of the noise from the street and did not sleep well. The room was lovely and decorated to a high standard. The hotel is nicely situated on the river, and we enjoyed dinner sitting outside overlooking the water. The staff were friendly and attentive. A complimentary glass of Prosecco is offered on arrival. A couple of reservations: the main door of the hotel is kept closed in summer for security reasons, but the signage to the entrance is confusing and sent us round in a circle — not a good start. The restaurant was hosting a bottomless brunch, which was pretty noisy. Happily it didn’t last into the evening. Our room was described as a superior king. However, it was very small, with a smallish window that didn’t let in much light. It was very hot overnight, making it difficult to sleep. We returned to the front desk to enquire about the inconsistency between the description of the room and the reality. Richard on the front desk was very understanding, acknowledging that the room was “not the biggest”. As the hotel was fully booked, he could not move us. He did, however, offer us a complimentary bottle of wine. Next time, we’ll specifically ask for one of the larger superior king rooms. We were left wondering what the standard rooms are like.

This hotel is ideally located beside water with a beautiful boulevard for walking and a swan sanctuary within sight. The staff were extremely warm and helpful, and the food - we had lunch, dinner al fresco, and breakfast - was outstanding in quality. An excellent experience.
