Seaview Holidays - Salterns Village

Checked in and was told to park on the opposite side of the building, received 2 notifications to move the car to a parking area further away even though I was on crutches. Went to reception as the radiator in the bathroom was ridiculously hot and was told it could be turned off, switch in the cupboard, which was padlocked shut by the owner, was advised they would contact owner but never heard anything from them after a week!!! It was like a sauna and several times we got burnt arms. Tap in kitchen dripped and was difficult to switch off. No batteries in clock. Water in bathroom was scalding hot as soon as it was switched on. No space on either side of bed to walk down. Small dresser with shelves, so no space to store clothes. Second bedroom again had no storage. Sofas were extremely uncomfortable. No space in kitchen to store food we had purchased. Only given 1 1/2 toilet rolls for the week. Shower leaked so had to tighten up the hose to fix it, when you’d had a shower the floor was saturated as the water seeped over the threshold. Water also rose up from the floor in the shower area when you emptied the sink. Only 2 of us stayed here and there was no room, if there were 4 adults it would’ve been dreadful. Outside benches were uncomfortable and needed a deep clean. Given a list of things to do and not do. Clearly no one had read this as very noisy neighbours.

Very quiet area and kept very tidy beds need to be updated and a quick lick of paint but we would stay again

We had a lovely time and felt very welcomed and accommodated

Had a great time in this lovely site . The accommodation was fairly small. Had Everything we needed though . Lovely staff welcoming and a nice guy doing the bins and cleaning windows etc .
