Et nytt og veldig stilig hotell helt nede ved vannkanten. Liten uteplass ved rommet, fine uteplasser for hotellet med utsikt mot fjord og fjell, og fint å rusle langs vannet om kvelden. Meget god middag i hotellrestauranten.

Easy to find and parking was included. Breakfast buffet was very good. They allowed us to use their laundry facilities during the evening, though there were limited machines. Room was nice and big, had patio that had a awesome view.

The room was clean, and had a balcony. It had no coffee machine or an electric kettle, but we managed to get one at the counter. It was close to the Loen Skylift. The restaurant was booked solid, so we didn't get our chance. The free washer was not working, the dryer was constantly in use.

What a fantastic property. We were making our way south to Bergen and decided to stop here for two nights and explore the area. Would have loved to stay longer! Hotel is updated with modern, clean rooms. The property is so peaceful and well thought out with its exterior gathering areas. Each room having its own patio with privacy walls is a nice touch. We spent both nights sitting outside, enjoying wine and taking in the fjord. It’s right there. You are steps from the waters edge. As others have mentioned, the breakfast is incredible - definitely some of the best food we’ve had on our 9 day trip across Norway. All staff that we encountered were pleasant and helpful. Will recommend this place to anyone I know visiting the region, and look forward to a future trip where I can come and stay longer.

Havde høje forventninger til dette sted. Vi ankom 1 time og 15 min efter tjek ind var startet og vores værelse var ikke klar. Vi blev tilbudt at sidde og vente i lobbyen og vente, ingen kaffe eller anden kompensation… Værelset var klar efter 15 min, men syntes stadig at man burde blive kompenseret. Bästa hotell vi bott på. Rena fräscha rum, trevlig personal och bra frukost. Alla rum har egen uteplats, trots att vi hade ett rum mot parkeringen hade vi en fin utsikt över fjord och fjäll. Miljön var lugn och harmonisk och allt hade genomgående kvalité. Vi kommer att åka dit igen och längtar tillbaka.

Ok, their room sizes are weird. Superior room with queen bed turned out to be half the size of a superior room with double bed. Their listing says otherwise. Go for the bigger room for additional $5 Good views from the rooms

We booked and paid two rooms through Hotels.com but when we arrived only one room was available and the hotel was full. The management managed to accommodate us at another Hotel in Valldal which was excellent and on top of that they offered a delicious dinner at Valldal Hotel in the evening. We were pleased how the management at Valldal hotel handled the situation when it occurred. We will highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel location is so convenient and peaceful. Beautiful scenery/view from each hotel room. This property has fantastic views. Valldal is smaller though so dining options other than the hotel are limited, but the food is delicious. TV seemed to only allow casting but we didn’t go all that way just to watch TV so that was minor.

Fint opphold med familien. Måtte dessverre booke 2 rom da rommene var for små til 2 store og 2 små. Men vi fikk rom ved siden av hverandre så det gikk fint. Rommene hadde en fin liten uteplass med fin utsikt. Frokosten var også bra. Spiste en middag der som var helt grei. Fikk dessverre servert kylling som ikke stod helt til forventningene, men da fikk vi en rabatt på den ene retten.

Simply amazing location, so quiet and peaceful hotel location. Essentially every room has a beautiful view. Limited dinner options for vegetarian and vegan, the kitchen staff not flexible enough to accommodate special dietary restrictions. We had to pay extra money for an additional bed even though all family members were happy to share the two beds, that surprise cost us fortune.

This is situated on a field and is absolutely spectacular surrounded by mountains. The property is appointed beautifully with large flower pots all over and the views are just amazing. The food in the restaurant was great, wonderful breakfast and great modern well appointed rooms. Would definitely recommend this as an A+ facility!
