J'ai passé une nuit. Très bon séjour, calme, bon accueil, bon petit déjeuner. Un peu cher mais l'offre d'hébergement à Bergama est limitée. C'est certainement une des meilleurs adresses rapport qualité/prix. On peut rejoindre le centre ville de Bergama à pieds en quelques minutes. Juste une chose: quand vous repartez en voiture, ne pas suivre votre GPS car il va vous emmener dans des ruelles pas adaptées aux voitures (trop étroites).

Otele giriş yapacağımız gün Vedat Bey, otele en kolay ulaşacağımız rotayı bizimle paylaştı. Bu sayede eski şehir merkezinin karmaşık ve dar yollarında kaybolmadan otelimize ulaştık. Bu sırada bizim için ayırdığı park yerine bizi aldı. Çok kolay bir şekilde giriş yaptığımız odamız iyi restore edilmiş bir rum evinde kaliteli malzemelerle dekore edilmiş geniş bir odaydı. Temizlik malzemeleri yeterli ve kaliteliydi. Dışarı sıcak olmasına rağmen oda sıcaklığı konforluydu. Odada TV olmaması benim çok hoşuma gitti. Sabah kahvaltısı yeterli ve çok lezzetliydi. Yerel ürünler olan tulum peyniri, bal, kaymak, karadut reçeli harikaydı… Otelin sahibi Vedat Bey, kent hakkında bize bilgilendirmeler de yaptı. Çok memnun olduğumuz bir konaklama idi. We had a very nice stay in Bergama. Vedat is a very friendly and welcoming host. The location was ideal to visit the attractions and parking was safe and across from the property. Our room was cozy and charming. Vedat also prepared a typical homemade turkish breakfast for us.

This hotel is more of a homestay than a hotel. It is located in the very old part of town and getting there through the very narrow cobbled streets can be a challenge. The host is very helpful and provides you with the usual breakfast. Our room was warm (January) and the bathroom was adequate (with a strong septic smell coming from the plumbing). Old, full of character and friendly. An authentic experience. Easy parking once you get there. The trick if you are driving is to use satnav to find the Ulu Cami Mosque, turn left after you go over the bridge, keep going and follow the signs to the Acropolis Restaurant. That will get you to the hotel. The restaurant opposite (The Acropolis) is exceptional. Great service, very clean with white table cloths etc. Traditional Turkish but also caters to vegetarians. We found the Pergamon ruins somewhat underwhelming compared to other sites - but the theatre is quite spectacular.

Navigating the winding cobbled streets was tricky—even Google Maps struggled—but the owner was communicative and guided us there with ease. In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious homemade Turkish breakfast, and best of all, everything we wanted to see was within walking distance.

Smallish room but comfortable bed. Curtains are quite light unfortunately. Good location in the old part of town, easy to walk into the town for the museum etc. Also good to walk to the Acropolis and other sites. All the walking involves cobbled roads and hills though - be aware. Handy shop for water etc a couple of minutes away, restaurant across the street if you don't want to walk down into town.

Definitely a local experience. I was warmly welcomed and looked after. Be very careful if you plan on driving in the area. Many very narrow roads. Get good directions that are suited to cars!

Smallish room but comfortable bed. Curtains are quite light unfortunately. Good location in the old part of town, easy to walk into the town for the museum etc. Also good to walk to the Acropolis and other sites. All the walking involves cobbled roads and hills though - be aware. Handy shop for water etc a couple of minutes away, restaurant across the street if you don't want to walk down into town.

We had a very nice stay in Bergama. Vedat is a very friendly and welcoming host. The location was ideal to visit the attractions and parking was safe and across from the property. Our room was cozy and charming. Vedat also prepared a typical homemade turkish breakfast for us.

This hotel is more of a homestay than a hotel. It is located in the very old part of town and getting there through the very narrow cobbled streets can be a challenge. The host is very helpful and provides you with the usual breakfast. Our room was warm (January) and the bathroom was adequate (with a strong septic smell coming from the plumbing). Old, full of character and friendly. An authentic experience. Easy parking once you get there. The trick if you are driving is to use satnav to find the Ulu Cami Mosque, turn left after you go over the bridge, keep going and follow the signs to the Acropolis Restaurant. That will get you to the hotel. The restaurant opposite (The Acropolis) is exceptional. Great service, very clean with white table cloths etc. Traditional Turkish but also caters to vegetarians. We found the Pergamon ruins somewhat underwhelming compared to other sites - but the theatre is quite spectacular.

J'ai passé une nuit. Très bon séjour, calme, bon accueil, bon petit déjeuner. Un peu cher mais l'offre d'hébergement à Bergama est limitée. C'est certainement une des meilleurs adresses rapport qualité/prix. On peut rejoindre le centre ville de Bergama à pieds en quelques minutes. Juste une chose: quand vous repartez en voiture, ne pas suivre votre GPS car il va vous emmener dans des ruelles pas adaptées aux voitures (trop étroites).

Temizlik malzemeleri yeterli ve kaliteliydi. Dışarı sıcak olmasına rağmen oda sıcaklığı konforluydu. Odada TV olmaması benim çok hoşuma gitti. Sabah kahvaltısı yeterli ve çok lezzetliydi. Yerel ürünler olan tulum peyniri, bal, kaymak, karadut reçeli harikaydı… Otelin sahibi Vedat Bey, kent hakkında bize bilgilendirmeler de yaptı. Çok memnun olduğumuz bir konaklama idi. This is more a b&b than a hotel. If you drive there, make sure you go the wide way around using wider streets as this is the old part of Bergama. Staff is polite and helpful as they did our laundry for little money. Breakfast is excellent. The room is old fashioned bit you are staying in a house that is over 100 years old. This was a unique place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Vedat is a wonderful host. Very friendly & accomodating. He even brought us nibbles when we were sharing a bottle of wine with our neighbours. The house is very old & has a very authentic feel. We had a nice view from our room down over the town. We were very comfortable and the breakfast is wonderful.
