It wasn’t a bad price, the communication with the owners seemed alright and the area is great to stay in especially if you’re cool taking a train into the city. That being said, there was a bottle of what we could only say looked like pee in the closet, huge stain on one of the beds, the backup bedding was gross and also stained. All of the chairs in the living area are also stained. It was not the greatest experience. It left a couple of us sleeping on couches because we didn’t trust the beds.

Wanted a house in oak park and this was such a pleasant, comfortable and convenient place. Really comfortable beds too. Even a lovely piano.

We stayed here on a weekend mini vacation because my son had a college volleyball game nearby. The home was pristine and very cozy. Close to so many restaurants and rich in history. We loved the original hard wood flooring and overall atmosphere. 10 out of 10 recommend! Although we stayed in the winter so walking wasnt our choice of transportation we had a couple issues with parking, primarily bec we arent used to city lifestyle, that was the only difficulty that occured.
