We loved Everything. The room, open to the jungle, sleeping under mosquito netting. Looking at the jungle while taking a shower. The common space with a virw to the water. The food excellent, but the staff was the best. If you are looking to get away from everything, surrounded by calming energy, this is the place for you. And they do have activities that they can arrange.

This lodge is far more than a hotel. It is an experience. They take excellent care of you. The food is amazing and the details in preperation is top quality. My spouse and I enjoyed the realxed atmosphere but also the activities. We went on the wildlife tour, the bat caves and snorkeling (arranged by La Loma). All were fun. Be aware that you are in the jungle with jungle noises at night and no walls. After the first night, we got used to the sounds and actually found them soothing. From the cocao tea and muffins at your door before you wake, to the incredible sunsets from the dining room, it is an excellentexperience. I'm sad we had to leave.
