Campau Heaven

Awesome place

We stayed at this rental with a multigenerational group of 19 and had a great time overall. The house was spacious and comfortable, and we especially appreciated that the double bunk beds. Lake access was excellent for swimming, kayaking, and canoeing, and the younger crowd loved the swim platform and canoe races. Some communication felt automated, with certain responses coming from the rental agency’s bot. I recommend asking upfront for a full list of additional fees for early arrival and late departure or extended stays. The washer and dryer are listed in the description but were labeled “staff only” and the washer water was shut of. The tap water is well water; it tasted fine to us, but you might prefer to bring your own drinking water. Be aware there are no main floor bedrooms, and the “Campau Upper 3 Level” listing does not include the basement level. That is an additional cost. Overall, this was a fun property with plenty of room for a large group, but future guests should read the listing carefully and confirm all details before booking.

The pictures of the house are not even close to what is actually there. The place wasn’t very clean. You could plainly see dirt around the place and furniture. The hot tubs were NOT clean and very disgusting.
