Courtyard by Marriott Schenectady at Mohawk Harbor

Nice place

Room was clean & comfortable. Location convenient.

When entering the room it smelled like cat pee. Wallpaper was peeling in a few places, The sheets and spread were very wrinkled and felt like sandpaper. Very uncomfortable to sleep. I was taken a back because I stay at Courtyard hotels and have never experienced this. I did ask for a first floor - I am sure others were more decent. This is Rm 113. I hope they get it looking and feeling like their high standards.

Staff was very courteous. Room was not cleaned properly at all and wondered how much was actually turned over and cleaned. Used condom wrapper was found on top of nightstand next to the bed

Room had odor and the mattress and pillows were really hard. Did not sleep well. Also, the price was double anyone else's price I could have booked the same room and kept my one key credits for 199.00 I ended up paying besides my 230.00 one key 175.00. Not happy at all about that
