I booked there because it had a pool and jacuzzi. When I got there the jacuzzi was broken and the pool was so cloudy u could barely see anything. The whole pool area smelt very bad and I saw bubbles coming to the surface in the pool. Asked the staff to check it and they said everything was fine. I will never go there again.

Not sure why they don’t keep website up to date about pool and hot tub not working. Stayed at this hotel because said they had pool and hot tub. Get there hot tub not working and no heat in the pool.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating!!! Our studio room was HUGE and clean! Only downfall was the pool was cold and hot tub wasn’t working.

The hotel was simply beautiful. The breakfast was great! The room was spotless and bed was very comfortable. But the pool was pretty disgusting. When we walked in it smelled like sewage. It didn’t appear to have water flow like the pump was off. When asked the girl said it was working fine but we would not get in that very hazy looking water. The jacuzzi was drained almost to empty and had rust stains on the floor around it. This totally dampened our visit to this wonderful hotel.

For the price I paid for this hotel I kinda expected a little bit more, the jacuzzi was a main thing for me, was gonna be able to relax, but it was not in working condition, the jets don’t work, told the staff and they ignore it, def needs an update, breakfast was not too tasty, but definitely a nice addition to the stay. . Also moved one of the couch chairs and there was old food underneath, not a good sign. I go to Ohio every year for an event and decided to try this place out this year. Will not come back, the price was too high for an average stay.

The check-in staff were really friendly, helpful, and efficient -- really top notch. The pool and hot tub was salt water and really nice. We had a studio with two queens and a fold out sofa -- the room had tons of space for our family of 5 including a long desk that was perfect for eating our dinner. It was a little hard to figure out the TV with two remotes, but that was no big deal. Also it was super clean and quiet. Great sleeping here!!

This hotel is going down hill. We have been staying here for about 3 years over the new year and each year it gets a little worse. The pool and hot tub area were not clean the hot tub is rusting and the water the was green. The fitness center was dirts actual sand or dirt on machines and many out of order. When you pay to have amenities at a hotel you should be able to use them. Our room was not overly clean then furniture had stains and crusty substance on them and we had to lay towels down to even sit on the furniture. The breakfast was good and staff were friendly, but cleaning and upkeep needs to be better.

Hotel was very nice. Staff were all friendly. Nice breakfast. Clean, spacious, definitely well cared for. Our room was very spacious and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Our stay was pretty good besides the fact they had no need at practice it was nothing but carbs biscuits, gravy, potatoes and waffles. The next morning they did have bacon which was better. My biggest complaint was the air filter on the air conditioner in our room was really dusty my son ended up having an asthma attack Sunday morning after spending two nights there. Plus people leaving trash in the hallway and even though housekeeping came through it's still sat there for over 14 hours. I think the person working the front desk should do a sweep every 4 or 5 hours just to pick up the extra garbage so the hallways don't smell of the food everone else is eating.

The WiFi did not work at all, I couldn’t run my laptop which I needed for my business. when asked the front desk said they were “working on it” the girl was rude and at the same time another customer called the front desk about the WiFi and she was rude to them. Not the greatest or the worst breakfast. The place was clean. No stopper in the bathtub and the temperature dial wouldn’t stay on hot.

I appreciate that the room was very spacious, didn't feel claustrophobic like some hotels. Plenty of towels, nice and clean, and very quiet. I did not hear the usual people in the halls or doors closing, despite it being busy. Very convenient to highway, with a lot of restaurants close by. Breakfast offerings were great. Might have used pool if it was open, but not a big deal for us.

Friendly welcome. Pleasant and informative. Rooms was big like it was describe, confortable and clean. We had five people and we were all comfortable with plenty of room to move around.

Had two issues: Due to a basketball tournament the hotel had a plethora of young kids booked. They came out around 11pm on the 4th floor and for whatever reason had to talk loud and bang doors until about 1:30am. I sent a text to the hotel but nothing was done. Also had an issue with the hand-held wand shower would not shut off when using the overhead shower. The hotel gave us the disability suite so while showering we had both going and spraying all over. Not a great experience.

Very clean and updated hotel. The room we stayed in was HUGE. So much space to spread out. Breakfast was great (eggs, meat, potatoes, waffle maker). Definitely a great place to stay.

The hotel had great insulation, only heard one train in the night even though the main line was less than a 1/4 mile away. I walked outside to put something in my car and couldn’t believe the volume of the train passing was making. The staff was very helpful and courteous.

The beds were comfy, the room was very spacious and clean. The staff was helpful and accommodating to all of our needs! Breakfast was hot and fresh! Any time we visit Sandusky we will ALWAYS stay here.

I don't often review a hotel; but the staff was exceptional. I had a 500 mile drive in front of me and CHRISTINE's breakfast bag made my day. Duck w/ red apple and raison bagel! Thank You!! helped me power though the day. Emily who checked me in was great as well.

Absolutely pathetic hotel - reserved a room when promised daily house keeping with full service to realize that they didn't do a full service till 3-4 days initially till reminded and then 1 day completely skipped it. My room was in a mess when I returned to the room after 36 hrs of non stop duty at the hospital only to find my room was uncleaned and beds not made. Made multiple requests for cleaning and making the bed buy all requests were denied. I couldn't sleep after my work for 36 hrs and having a sleepless night day before! The technology doesn't work after tall promises such as digital card etc. The staff are rude and laugh behind you. Breakfast is best avoidable as there are very poor and ordinary choices. The cereal container leaks all the cereal out and nobody is bothered to fix it or repair. This is an expensive hotel and so I expected a better stay, facilities and hospitality. Instead I was waiting to get this nightmarish stay over as soon as possible. I would avoid this hotel at all costs as there are many hotels around.

We stopped halfway through a long road trip and couldnt have been more pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean comfortable and the staff friendly. We drove away the next day completely rested and happy

For the price I paid for this hotel I kinda expected a little bit more, the jacuzzi was a main thing for me, was gonna be able to relax, but it was not in working condition, the jets don’t work, told the staff and they ignore it, def needs an update, breakfast was not too tasty, but definitely a nice addition to the stay. . Also moved one of the couch chairs and there was old food underneath, not a good sign. I go to Ohio every year for an event and decided to try this place out this year. Will not come back, the price was too high for an average stay.

We had a very nice visit. Check-in was fast. We had amazing service from Adriena at reception. She diligently hunted for our HHonors number to link the visit with this Hampton stay. She went above and beyond. Also, she was a lot of fun to talk to.

Very nice hotel with great staff. Plenty of restaurants nearby and convenient area off the turnpike. I had to present a webinar after checkout time and the staff were very accommodating by giving me a private space to present my webinar.

We arrived early and staff allowed us to check in early. We were impressed by the cleanliness of both our rooms. Easy on and off from highway and short drive to Cedar Point.

The hotel is quite nice and has all the amenities needed. My daughter and I were just passing through and needed a comfy bed more than anything. The beds were especially comfortable and everything was very clean, with the exception of the shower head, which just needs a good cleaning with some bleach. The breakfast area is very nice and comfortable, and there was a good variety of food, but the bagel I had was a bit stale and the orange juice was quite watered down. I couldn’t even finish it. 😕 There were other options such as cereal, waffles, etc. that I’m sure would have been better but we were anxious to get back on the road so I didn’t take the time to try it. Over all, it is a nice clean hotel and the staff is friendly. I would stay here again if in the area.

AC worked real well. Except for mold on edges of walls & ceiling in bathroom and paint overspray on windows. Rome was clean. Desk chair was a accident waiting to happen. Breakfast was good. Everything was hot and kept filled.

The pool was freezing cold, and the bottom was dirty/sandy. The hot tub was out of order, which was disappointing. The doors in the pool area are rusty, and the paint is severely chipped. The chairs in the breakfast area and the lobby are disgusting. The material is all ripped, making it seem like nobody cares about the hotel's aesthetics. Our main issue was on the first morning of our stay. I had gone down to look at what was offered for breakfast while my daughter was asleep in the room. Immediately, my daughter messaged me, very upset. In the few minutes I had left her, a man had entered the room claiming he was from maintenance. There were no issues with our room, and how can a man just enter without notifying the guests first? I spoke with the front desk; she claimed there was an issue with a bathroom tile. I confirmed this was not the case. Instantly, I am told that maintenance was sent to the wrong room and they should have gone to 313 instead, as it was vacant. Back on the third floor, I soon found that 313 was not vacant, as a TV was blaring loudly. This was witnessed by two of the maids. I don't know what is going on at this hotel, but as I stated to the front desk clerk, their practice of sending maintenance into rooms without prior notification is something I most definitely consider a safety concern, especially for women traveling alone. This should be addressed immediately. Needless to say, we did not feel safe at this hotel, and I would never return.

The room was clean and well maintained, overall the visit and location were very nice. The only downside was the pool and hot tub could have been maintained a little more…. The hot tub was warm but the jets did not work the way they are intended to. Staff and the room were perfect though.

We had a really great stay! The only issue is that we called for housekeeping to restock our towels once and they never showed in the two nights we were there. The front desk staff was helpful in getting new towels, but they also indicated that housekeeping should have been by at least twice. It was more of an annoyance than anything but overall, it didn’t truly impact our stay too negatively.
