I'm now 70 years old and have been going past this place for decades. Last year I decided to stay here because it was always full when I came to Wisconsin for races at Road America so I figured it was a good place to stay. It has very clean rooms and the staff is friendly, the property however has been in need of a face lift for many years. They have security cameras for the entire parking lot but the room doors only have a lock on the door handle, I was uncomfortable with that even though there seemed little chance of trouble. I've now stayed there twice and will likely stay again when I come back for the same races at this time next year.

The room was very clean and inviting to stay in. The room was very affordable. There wasn't a lot of extra perks but we weren't looking for that. Just a nice room to stay in while visiting an airshow. And they definitely delivered. I also greatly appreciated the ability to log into streaming TV. Most places we stay just have live television. That was definitely a plus.

Besides the slow check in, they had to bring towels to the room, no cups or coffee pot. The worst part ..there was a fireworks stand in parking lot and from the time we checked in until at least 10 p.m. Periodic fireworks going off. D Some very loud, others long screaming noises and flashes seem through the curtains. If we hadn't booked with online service, we would have cancelled the reservation. Plus loud, garish music blaring from the stand!!!

There was no working smoke detector in our room, the air conditioner was not working, the tub did not drain well, the toilet seat was falling off, and for the amount we were charged for the room, we felt it was very overpriced.

Unfortunately the air conditioner and windows and couch we very dirty. We didn’t even want to sit out bags on the coach it was so awful! Bugs crawling into the wood work of bathroom door. We ended up not spending the night and taking a loss

The staff was truly amazing very friendly and helpful with anything I needed. Unfortunately, the room itself was far from satisfactory. Towels were stained and appeared dirty, and even after being switched to what was considered their best room, the couch was in such poor condition I was hesitant to sit on it. While the location felt safe, it’s extremely remote. Getting a cab or even ordering food was nearly impossible, which made the stay very inconvenient. I wouldn’t return primarily due to the location, but the cleanliness of the room was also a major concern.

Currently no housekeeping. No TV channels..got to use your own provider. Loud party at bar next door one night and walls thin...couldn't sleep until after 3pm. No coffee maker currently..new owner and he renovating the rooms. Our room first done. It was ok....but won't stay there again...

There isn’t much room to hang or store clothing, if you want to take it out of the suitcase. Not many outlets. The room needs freshening up, paint, air vents, window covering. Ok if all you do is sleep there, as it is not a very cozy room. The new owner is friendly and helpful.

Bed was extremely comfortable, best sleep in long time. Only complaint I have is there was very little toilet paper left on roll. Was just lucky I had one in my luggage from a previous hotel.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. This is an older hotel that does need some upgrading. The beds were not as comfortable as I would have liked and there is no cabinet/dresser and/or desk in the room. They heat was not easily controllable so it was warmer than I would have liked. Overall, it was a very good experience but with a little updates and additional amenities it could be an excellent experience in the future.

We got to the motel around 5pm. We walked into the office and no one was there behind the counter. They have a bell so we rang the bell. No one came. We rang the bell a couple more times and tried calling their number. No answer. No one came for 20 minutes. Then they gave us a room. Room 25. Then as we were unpacking a gentleman told us they gave us the wrong room and gave us keys for room 29. We opened the doors to room 29 and someone was staying in there. We went back and they told us they gave us the wrong keys. Then gave us room 30. Room 30 was stinky and they left a dirty wet rag on top of the fridge. I took a quick shower and the blow dryer wouldn’t work. I called them to complain and to ask for a new blow dryer and for them to come pick up the stinky towel that someone left in there, but no answer so I left a message. I called again the next morning and of course no answer. Worst customer service and motel we’ve ever stayed in.

This property cancelled our reservations without notification and would not come to the door, talked through a ring doorbell. Didn't seem to care we had this reserved for over 6 months or that we traveled 15 hours to get there with no place to stay. Would NEVER recommend based on their attitudes about this whole thing.

I'm now 70 years old and have been going past this place for decades. Last year I decided to stay here because it was always full when I came to Wisconsin for races at Road America so I figured it was a good place to stay. It has very clean rooms and the staff is friendly, the property however has been in need of a face lift for many years. They have security cameras for the entire parking lot but the room doors only have a lock on the door handle, I was uncomfortable with that even though there seemed little chance of trouble. I've now stayed there twice and will likely stay again when I come back for the same races at this time next year.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. This is an older hotel that does need some upgrading. The beds were not as comfortable as I would have liked and there is no cabinet/dresser and/or desk in the room. They heat was not easily controllable so it was warmer than I would have liked. Overall, it was a very good experience but with a little updates and additional amenities it could be an excellent experience in the future.

Besides the slow check in, they had to bring towels to the room, no cups or coffee pot. The worst part ..there was a fireworks stand in parking lot and from the time we checked in until at least 10 p.m. Periodic fireworks going off. D Some very loud, others long screaming noises and flashes seem through the curtains. If we hadn't booked with online service, we would have cancelled the reservation. Plus loud, garish music blaring from the stand!!!

Noone in the office when we arrived (2:15),when someone did come they told us to come back at 3 as out room was not ready.They gave us the key,We came back went in the room and it was not cleaned yet and smelled terrible of Cigarette smoke! No one around.Long story we left and requested a refund.I would not recommend this motel ever!!!

Only property near my in-laws. There is a noisy nightclub next door and the grounds smell like cigarettes, but the price is right. They always decorate for each season and the rooms are very clean. Definitely worth what you pay!

Hotel reminded me of the places we stayed when traveling US40 as a child - complete with real key attached to big plastic key fob.. The staff and the retro feel of the facility are the standout features. Room was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.
