Very interesting hotel. Rooms in the older section where I stayed were thoughtfully redone with modern finishes and decor. There were some scale and rust issues with waterfall faucets and the bathtub. Oddly the reception area is in a coffee shop - not sure if it's temporary but didn't give the best first impression. Dinner at the restaurant was a very pleasant surprise - exceptionally well prepared halibut.

The staff was great, the view from our room was amazing and it was located very close to the places we needed to go. Highly recommend staying here! I don't drink coffee but it was nice they had a Bigby coffee right in the lobby. Rooms were clean and updated.

There's nothing between the rooms to reduce noise. The hallways are the same and every conversation could be heard by passing guests and staff. We could hear everything on all sides of the room we were in. (This is in the newer side of the building.) The tvs in the neighboring rooms sounded as though they were right in our room. The staff double billed me, but did reverse the transaction when I brought it to their attention. The elevator was out when we arrived, but they did repair it while we were there. The phone did not work in our room. The lights were dimmable in the ceiling (no other light fixtures in ceiling only two lamps in double room). All lights flickered suggesting electrical issues beyond the elevator malfunction. Not worth the prices being charged for the rooms and lakeview. Likely the bar and coffee shop are all that's keeping them afloat.
