Absolutely loved our stay! Beautiful room and clean. I loved how it was a historic home but had updated modern touches. We added a day to our stay because we enjoyed it so much. The bed and bedding were so comfortable. Best sleep I've had on our travels thus far. The town and location was delightful as well. Hope we can stay here again in the future.

The historical aspect & decor were wonderful. The owner was nice. Lovely rooms. Property was beautiful. Just be aware that it really is not a bed and breakfast as food was not available in the morning. Coffee was.

A quaint early 1900s setting. Spacious and well appointed. Lovely bedroom and bathroom, very comfy bed. Snacks and beverages always available as well as coffee and tea. A wonderful place to stay whether a couple or a group of friends. Host as welcoming and engaged.

Cobwebs in bathroom- toilet needs work, won’t cut off on its own. Stairs are dangerous but we knew that from before however we didn’t know if our room was upstairs. Could not get the tv to work, no directions. No ice for am. The laminated sheet of tv channels is gross. Information tablet is WAY out of date and useless. Bed comfortable, nice bathroom

Went to The Harvester Performance Center and stayed at the Early Inn! The rooms were huge! It was clean and I felt very safe! Easy check-in and I will definitely stay there again.

historic location’s are always interesting. This one has a great story the suite was roomy and the bathroom larger than you would expect in a historic building. Suggestion: Arrive during daylight. It’s tough to find the little driveway in a dimly lit street. Not very tech established for plug in’s, so bring adapters. The property also owns the “Burger” location across the street which they give a $5 discount for breakfast at the location, opens after 8:30am though.

The pictures don’t do justice. Beautiful place, large room and private bathroom. Bryan was a great host. Note that it’s a “bed, NO breakfast”, but there’s a little burger place literally across the street that serves a tasty and reasonably priced breakfast.

I liked the way were treated by the owner ,Bryan ,He went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and that all was well. I've stayed there on many show nights at the Harvester. Wouldn't have it any other way!

Our room is beautiful! Can't wait to soak in tub! Bryan was super nice and showed us around when we first checked in, giving us all the details on great places to eat & drink within walking distance if the inn. Love it!

I enjoyed staying at the Early Inn so much! Brian was a wonderful host. The room was beautiful and took me back in time! It was in walking distance of several places including The Harvestor where we saw the show. There was a great restaurant The Rocky Mount Burger Company! So much more. I highly recommend The Early Inn.

Quiet, comfortable, and easy. Bryan made sure everything was perfect and was helpful with lots of info about places to eat in town. Great casual restaurant with full bar across the street was really convenient. Highly recommend staying here.

Place was dark and empty. No human presence at all. Spooky. And they'd failed to send entry codes in timely manner so we couldn't open door. Since we were abandoned we found other lodging and will expect complete refund. Horrible experience. STAY ELSEWHERE

My third day at the Inn. This is a fantastic little gem in the heart of Rocky Mount. I will definitely stay again.

The pictures don’t do justice. Beautiful place, large room and private bathroom. Bryan was a great host. Note that it’s a “bed, NO breakfast”, but there’s a little burger place literally across the street that serves a tasty and reasonably priced breakfast.

historic location’s are always interesting. This one has a great story the suite was roomy and the bathroom larger than you would expect in a historic building. Suggestion: Arrive during daylight. It’s tough to find the little driveway in a dimly lit street. Not very tech established for plug in’s, so bring adapters. The property also owns the “Burger” location across the street which they give a $5 discount for breakfast at the location, opens after 8:30am though.

Enjoyed our stay- second time staying here (attended Harvester show both times). Enjoyed breakfast last time which is no longer included but they do provide a discount at restaurant across the street if you stay at the inn. Would come back !

I enjoyed staying at the Early Inn so much! Brian was a wonderful host. The room was beautiful and took me back in time! It was in walking distance of several places including The Harvestor where we saw the show. There was a great restaurant The Rocky Mount Burger Company! So much more. I highly recommend The Early Inn.

The historical aspect & decor were wonderful. The owner was nice. Lovely rooms. Property was beautiful. Just be aware that it really is not a bed and breakfast as food was not available in the morning. Coffee was.

Quiet, comfortable, and easy. Bryan made sure everything was perfect and was helpful with lots of info about places to eat in town. Great casual restaurant with full bar across the street was really convenient. Highly recommend staying here.

Easy check in, huge room with everything we needed, owner was quick to respond to questions. Location was perfect to downtown Rocky Mount with the Harvester theatre, farmer's market and restaurants.

A quaint early 1900s setting. Spacious and well appointed. Lovely bedroom and bathroom, very comfy bed. Snacks and beverages always available as well as coffee and tea. A wonderful place to stay whether a couple or a group of friends. Host as welcoming and engaged.

The Early Inn is an ante-bellum plantation house, with a wide expanse of lawn in the front and surrounded by trees. Very beautiful! We were greeted by Stacy (sp?) who showed us around the house, instructed us on the use of the keyless entries before taking us to room. She offered to carry our small suitcases but that wasn't necessary. We stayed in the Magnolia Suite, a beautifully appointed room with wallpaper befitting its style and antique furniture. The ensuite had a double bowl sink and an oversize shower with three different shower heads from which to choose. There was also a nice sized soaking tub. Coffee, tea, and cold beverages were available as were snacks. Within walking distance was a great restaurant, Rocky Mount Burger Restaurant serving not just burgers but a wide variety of sandwiches. We had the Ruebens and were not disappointed. Excellent! Right across from that is The Harvester, the music venue where we saw Big, Bad Voodoo Daddy. Across from that is the Saturday Farmers Market. It's not exceptionally large but has a wide variety of produce, baked goods, and other local crafts. Many more stores were available if you continued your walk down the street. This place is well worth staying there and convenient to all you might need within walking distance. I recommend it without reservation.
