The Southern Hotel

When we checked in the staff on duty were not very friendly. Almost snooty like. The lobby and grounds of the hotel were beautiful but our room was the very last room on the 2nd hall of the 2nd floor it overlooked the HVAC system. We booked this room months ago so I thought we would have had a much better view. The lady on staff working the morning after we arrived was very kind and helpful.

The Southern Hotel is a marvelous place to spend your time while traveling. It is a beautiful property which is well maintained and a staff that is friendly and efficient. Rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed. The restaurant and bar are very worth a visit with good atmosphere and very friendly staff. I recommend the Southern Hotel very highly.

The hotel is charming with lots of pretty places to sit and relax.

Lovely historic property with new amenities. Enjoyed our stay.
