Staying in a yurt was a great experiance. Nice change from traditional hotel. Love the privacy since yurt is stand alone structure. Additional shower outside was a nice twist.

Everything about the stay was pleasant. The yurt was so clean and comfortable, the hosts were very accommodating, and the grounds were peaceful and relaxing. I will definitely visit again.

Jan & Scott are great hosts and the Yurt had everything we needed. Great space, sofas, microwave, refrig., large TV well furnished, comfy bed & pillows. The heat/ac unit was very quiet. We really enjoyed the outside spaces too. The area was quiet but the location is close to downtown Escalante. We highly recommend the Yurts!

Jan & Scott are great hosts and the Yurt had everything we needed. Great space, sofas, microwave, refrig., large TV well furnished, comfy bed & pillows. The heat/ac unit was very quiet. We really enjoyed the outside spaces too. The area was quiet but the location is close to downtown Escalante. We highly recommend the Yurts!

The yurts and grounds were fantastic. We stayed in willow and were very impressed that everything in the yurt was very well thought out. The grill came in very handy since most of the restaurants in town were closed for the season. They are located between Bryce and Capitol Reef which made it very convenient for us. Scott and Jan greeted us when we arrived and were very friendly. They've done a great job on there property.

Staying in the yurt is a wonderful and fresh expereince. My wife really enjoyed the outside shower in the evenings. I like the pastry welcome treats and breakfast. The bed is really comfortable and the air conditioning works like a charm and amazingly quiet.

The bed was very comfy.The property is quiet and set among the rocks and wildlife roaming around. The owners are available, enthusiastic, informative, and know the area. Conveniently located to town and outdoor activities. Very, very comfortable! We will return!

The yurt was lovely. Spacious, tastefuly decorated, comfortable bed. Jan was a wonderful host. We went mid December so can get a bit chilly at night. Good to have some layers. Overall magical experience!

I loved my stay here! I will absolutely stay here again when I visit Escalante. The property was private and quiet, and the owners are a delight! The yurt I stayed in was way more comfortable, clean, and nicer than a hotel. It is just a unique experience that I definitely recommend!

the location was beautiful, yurt was meticulously maintained and beds were very comfortable. The hosts communicated with us days prior to arrival. There were fresh muffins and fruit in the yurt which was s nice welcoming treat. Would highly recommend staying in these yurts.

Escalante Yurts exceeded our expectations! What an amazing place to stay. The yurt was adorable and had all the comforts of an upscale hotel in a unique setting. We ate dinner in ( a delicious pizza and salad from the outfitters in town) and stargazed when the sun went down. Absolutely an incredible experience!

This was the most unique property we have ever visited. Our hosts Jan & Scott were so very friendly and welcoming. The extent to which they tried to anticipate every need and desire was impressive and a testimony to their commitment to hospitality. Loved this stay!!

The Escalante Yurts was our favorite place to stay in Utah! Highly recommend! Five stars plus!! The host was very friendly & accommodating, easy check in & out! The Yurt was luxury glamping at its finest. Even supplied us a breakfast for the next morning.

You definitely need your own transportation, there’s one restaurant that had really good food the Outlook, the property itself was wonderful nice relaxing Jan and Scott had breakfast for us every morning. It was very helpful of what to see while you were there.. I definitely recommend driving to Burr Canyon.

Very lovely yurt in a quiet setting. Owners are very nice and gave us suggestions on roads to take. Wonderful experience!

The yurts are well appointed and somehow even better than the pictures show (which is never the case). The bathroom is large with a full-size shower(3x5). The bed was very comfy.The property is quiet and set among the rocks and wildlife roaming around. The owners are available, enthusiastic, informative, and know the area. Conveniently located to town and outdoor activities. Very, very comfortable! We will return!

Jan & Scott are great hosts and the Yurt had everything we needed. Great space, sofas, microwave, refrig., large TV well furnished, comfy bed & pillows. The heat/ac unit was very quiet. We really enjoyed the outside spaces too. The area was quiet but the location is close to downtown Escalante. We highly recommend the Yurts!

The yurts and grounds were fantastic. We stayed in willow and were very impressed that everything in the yurt was very well thought out. The grill came in very handy since most of the restaurants in town were closed for the season. They are located between Bryce and Capitol Reef which made it very convenient for us. Scott and Jan greeted us when we arrived and were very friendly. They've done a great job on there property.

You definitely need your own transportation, there’s one restaurant that had really good food the Outlook, the property itself was wonderful nice relaxing Jan and Scott had breakfast for us every morning. It was very helpful of what to see while you were there.. I definitely recommend driving to Burr Canyon.

I loved my stay here! I will absolutely stay here again when I visit Escalante. The property was private and quiet, and the owners are a delight! The yurt I stayed in was way more comfortable, clean, and nicer than a hotel. It is just a unique experience that I definitely recommend!

Escalante Yurts exceeded our expectations! What an amazing place to stay. The yurt was adorable and had all the comforts of an upscale hotel in a unique setting. We ate dinner in ( a delicious pizza and salad from the outfitters in town) and stargazed when the sun went down. Absolutely an incredible experience!

The Escalante Yurts was our favorite place to stay in Utah! Highly recommend! Five stars plus!! The host was very friendly & accommodating, easy check in & out! The Yurt was luxury glamping at its finest. Even supplied us a breakfast for the next morning.

Love the Cottontail yurt. Owners are very nice and helpful. The area is spectacular. The breakfast provided was the only letdown as it needs to be fresher, and less pre-packaged.

the location was beautiful, yurt was meticulously maintained and beds were very comfortable. The hosts communicated with us days prior to arrival. There were fresh muffins and fruit in the yurt which was s nice welcoming treat. Would highly recommend staying in these yurts.

Staying in the yurt is a wonderful and fresh expereince. My wife really enjoyed the outside shower in the evenings. I like the pastry welcome treats and breakfast. The bed is really comfortable and the air conditioning works like a charm and amazingly quiet.

My husband and I stayed in the Birch yurt for three nights during a three week national parks and monuments tour. Jan and Scott have created an incredibly special place. We didn't expect to find a five star YURT! They have thought of everything. The sheets on the bed were so soft that I tried to find the tag to order them for home. We used the fluffy robes each night to view the Milky Way. Breakfast was delicious. Scott was kind enough to give us directions to a nearby slot canyon that we would never have found on our own. We would love to return here again.

Our family and friends enjoyed our stay at the Yurts. The breakfast every morning was great. The Yurts were well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The host was available for any questions we had and made recommendations on places to visit. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in the "Willow" yurt. It was clean and well maintained and the daily breakfasts were great! Though we did not partake of the on-sight options like the gas grill or fire pit, it was nice knowing they were there if we wanted them. Highly recommend Escalante Yurts!
