It was dirty poor conditions then he wanted to charge 30.00 guess for just 2 and 10.00 for parking in a neighborhood not pleasant. That shack look like it was for drug dealing. The pictures you posted was nothing like the place Management was ignorant terribly rude. You told me you would refund me the money that it out. So very disappointed

The stay is alright especially the area very quiet. But charging ppl 10 dollars to park on the property is ridiculous. See u next time

BUYER BEWARE: READ THE REVIEWS! Due to a minor error (my maiden name was still on my expedia account), I wasn\'t allowed to check into my pre-paid room, despite having emails, reservation numbers, and showing the employee the app with my name on it. Having read the reviews about the pubes, roaches, and quite honestly, the terror of the unlit parking lot, we were forced to drive an hour back home instead of "enjyoing" one more night in AC. Extremely rude office clerk "just doing his job" saved me from who knows what kind of diseases and nightmares.

Dead mouse’s under bed pest poop beds dirty no real reception it’s literally like their own apt in there. The smell entering the room was extremely awful

AC falling apart, sands and dust everywhere, no soap no towel, tv not working, looks like an abandoned premise. If you care about your health, stay away. Reception looking like a drug room in a jungle where you only speak to someone through a whole on a protected glass. Words can not be enough to describe the deepness of insanity here. And the only man we spoke to in the morning when he showed up at 11:05 am to ask me out was rude, aggressive, impolite. Worst customer service ever

This property was very unsafe it was dirty it was stank it wasn't no linen and none of the rooms no washcloths no tiles it was very under skilled and I would not recommend this place for anyone to stay there the owner was very rude very disrespectful and I would like to have my money returned this is not a place for no one to stay. It's not family-friendly at all the bathrooms was dirty smelling like urine the rooms was not cleaned at all and my views on it if I can go lower than the zero that would be my views.

The place was disgusting when I got there I was shocked ,a piece of drape by the window looked like they chop off a piece ..started pulling out the drawers there was roaches running around in them the bed covers was stained I had to go buy cleaning supplies and bedding took me like 2hrs to clean ,the floor was very dirty I had to wipe it like 4 times to get the dirt off .the furnitures falling apart ,the manager or whoever he was have an attitude problem he needs to work on ,am not sure if he thinks he’s in India dealing with the locals but that is the perception I get of him i stayed for 4 nights I didn’t drive so I had was to take taxi to the town the picture on hotel.com is misleading because they took a picture of the Bogata to trick people that is wrong, the place can be improved to the owners of this property please don’t treat people like crap it’s our hard earn money we spending if they are advertising don’t put it here until they fix and improve their place it’s not fear to people who is coming from out of town only to come find such disgusting place and a nasty attitude ,I almost didn’t get my deposit back if I didn’t mention that I was going to call the cops ..overall it’s a sex shop if you ask me ,not a getaway vacation kind of hotel not recommendable for vacationers .

It is so worned out, missing door on closet, AC is missing part of cover and extremely dirty. Tub is clogged! This is a bootleg motel! Don’t waste your time or money! Omg the worst place I have ever been in it was so nasty and dirty they even have beg-buts the staff was so disrespectful and I even had to wait outside for over an hour they didn’t even have towels in the bathroom no soap nothing at all ohh and then the heater broke in the middle of the night 😡

Sunset Inn Hotel promised a serene retreat, but the reality was starkly different. The room depicted in the picture bore no resemblance to the actual space; instead of cozy furnishings, lawn furniture greeted guests. Disappointment deepened upon discovering dirty towels and a malfunctioning shower. The experience was nothing short of terrible, and a refund should undoubtedly be issued to rectify the misrepresented accommodations and subpar conditions endured by guests.

The air had one setting low. The drawers on the dresser were off track so could not open. The cover had cirgarette burns even though the room was no smoking. The front desk clerk was very dismissive when you would try to ask for something. The wifi didnot workand even though they say the front desk is open untilb12am 11:45pm is more of the answer. There was also dirt stains on the bath mat. Even though the place was in need of an update the the managment could have taken better care of it. It smelled really good when you walked in

Room was clean but could have used a deep cleaning and airing out .Staff was decent we had an issue with the air conditioner but they fixed right away . It’s not far from the boardwalk and casinos which was good but they DEFINITELY NEED TO UPGRADE THE ROOMS !!!!!

Worst experience (bathroom had not washroom bathtub knobs) and hotel managment told everyone use showers. So we dont see any issues. Lol . Terrible experience.

Thought after the a year the place would've been fixed up!!!!! But unfortunately they only did the floors 😢😢😢. The flys are annoying, good thing we had our own towels and linens for the room had NONE 😢 😢 😢 the bed is comfortable.

I was late to go check in no one came to front desk waiting for 45 minutes so I did left the property I didn’t stay there bu it’s look like it’s not showing on on picture it’s not same.look out side 100/0

This property deserves the title of the most disgusting hotel ever. Check-in is handled via phone, which is far from ideal. Everything that could be wrong with a hotel seems to be present in this place. What’s even more troubling is that Expedia refused to help with a refund. They took the stance that "there's nothing they can do." Expedia needs to exert more control in situations like this.

1. Sink backed with black kootie hair 2. None smoking room blanket full of large burned holes 3. Unexpected 40$ charge for key deposit and room check 4. Deposit not returned until they come out of building to check the room 5.dingy white towels and wash clothes 6. Rude check out attendant 7. Bad visual contact with front desk while checking in from outside window

When we arrived to the place it was nobody receiving the person. We have to call the number and wait 15 minutes. No extra blanket. The place was dirty and it was not what they advertised. The customer services was disgusting. I won’t not recommend this motel

The Owner was Very Rude towards myself & Husband who the room was for. He tried to raise the Original Security Deposit amount from $15 to $150 after Just looking at Me and my husband. I have never been so racially profiled in my life. After asking why he raised the Security Deposit he then Refused our Booking & Denied our refund.

This is a ultra low class motel. I believed that Expedia listings had some class and so have been using expedia. This hotel sure should NOT be on expedia. Its not the hotel's fault but expedia's fault in listing this one. The check in via a small ticket counter like place. They wanted $50 as deposit IN CASH. This was never mentioned during booking. They refused credit cards. Room was rusty with a strong mildew smell. I hardly slept 2 hours before an extremely busy day the next day. Horrible booking. I blame expedia entirely for this for listing this. Next time I am going to think twice before booking on expedia and want to pass this message to my friends and relatives

Sunset Inn is a dump. The staff was rude and not only had I have to pay for the one night, I had to pay an additional 40.00 security deposit IN cash. I did not see that fee coming. I would not let my pet roach or rat stay there. We sprayed the room and the beds with Lysol. Thank goodness I had something to sleep on. The air conditioning did not work. After we checked out, I did get my security deposit back. AFTER THEY CHECKED THE ROOM. Never again. Just stating the facts.

The agent was very nice on chat. However he gave a horrible place too stay. The bulding was unsafe in a gueto area. I couldn't stay there and had to go another route. Iost money and I was very upset

Only stayed here as we were desperate everything else was sold out. Differently a rip off at 300$ a night. Wouldn’t even shower in the room just the bare bones. Outside seems kinda sketchy.
