A23 Boutique Hotel

We truly enjoyed our stay at the A23 Boutique Hotel! Great location allowed us to walk everywhere we wanted to go, eating breakfast and drinking coffee in the garden was a lovely way to start the day, plus the complimentary glass of wine to enjoy upon our return in the evening was fabulous, and the hotel staff are all so lovely and helpful.

This boutique hotel is out of this world. We were greeted with espresso drinks upon arrival. The lobby and the back and front gardens are beautiful, and the rooms are newly remodeled with all possible amenities. The service was beyond our expectations and experience (we travel extensively). Bravo!

I'll start with the pros: This hotel is centrally located, and the staff are nice and go out of their way to try and accommodate guests. They are really the main reason I ended up giving the hotel 3 stars. However, the hotel is located in the middle of a multi-year infrastructure project that, through no fault of their own, makes it an impossible stay for anybody with a car. Virtually all the streets around the hotel are blocked off, and Google Maps isn't updated so you'll constantly find yourself making impossibly long detours trying to get to a parking lot. Which parking lot, you ask? Not the hotel's because it doesn't have one. Also, not the one a couple of blocks away that the hotel directs you to, because it is ALWAYS at capacity and you simply won't be able to use it. I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and wasn't able to use that parking lot a single time. Therefore, the only options are: Park at the Tel Aviv Port, a 12 minute walk from the hotel, or park at Dizengoff 221, a 4 minute walk from the hotel but also a NIS 250 overnight charge to park ($70). Long story short, this hotel simply can't be considered as an option for anybody with a car, and I wish they had told me that upfront rather than continuing to tell me that the lot next to the hotel will be free "tomorrow", "on weekdays", etc. It wasn't and it isn't, period.

A lovely a friendly hotel. On arrival my welcome was warm and relaxed, with a check in drink to add to friendly start. My room (on floor 2) was a good sized and well equipped with a comfortable bed. The shared spaces were a quiet terraced garden to the rear, a bar in the lobby in which breakfast was served and out door seating to the front on the hotel, perfect to watch the world go by. I will be using A23 on my next trip.

I am writing to provide feedback on my recent stay at your hotel from June 9 to June 10, 2023. While there were some positive aspects of my experience, there were several issues that significantly affected our stay and left us feeling dissatisfied. Firstly, I would like to address the pricing and payment process. We booked our room through Hotel.com and were surprised to discover that the taxes were not included in the initial payment of $500. Typically, when booking through Hotel.com, all costs are paid upfront or clearly mentioned in advance, including any resort fees. However, it seems that this is not the case in Israel. It would have been helpful to have this information communicated clearly during the booking process. Additionally, parking was a major inconvenience for us. As we arrived with two cars, we were disappointed to learn that there was no parking available at the hotel. The closest parking option we could find charged approximately 120 NIC per car, and when we drove to our restaurant in the evening, we had to pay another 120 NIC for parking. In total, we ended up spending around 360 NIC on parking alone. It would have been beneficial if the hotel had provided information about parking availability and associated costs in advance. On the positive side, the hotel itself was nice and clean, which is something we highly value. However, the level of service fell short of our expectations compared to European or American standards.

Everything was fine, stuff is incredible, but it’s advertised it has parking and they do not.

Great location, great hotel staff, great breakfast, and overall great stay. We had a rented car and there was a public garage nearby. Also walking distance to Hilton beach and great restaurants.

The Hotel is pretty centrally located, close to shops, restaurants, beach, public transportation. The room was clean, recently renovated/updated. The bed was comfy, there was a pull out couch, which was set up as a bed and worked perfectly for 2 small kids. There was a mini bar and kitchenette. The room faced the back of the property, overlooking the cute courtyard. The atmosphere of the hotel was very pleasant, with spaces to hang out, have some morning coffee or an evening refreshment. The decor was very quaint and unique. You can tell a lot of care and attention went into putting it together! It is clean and well cared for. I cannot say enough with regards to how friendly, helpful and accommodating the hotel staff was. They truly made our stay exceptional!

Poor customer service. I had arranged a taxi from the airport gave all my detauls and then nothing came. Told 3 staff members nothing happened. Also on first day they took a 700 sheckle deposit just in case i trashed the room asked another guest they said they didnt do that. Staff were a bit frosty towards me and gave dirty towels so had to keep asking for more. Also owner was trying to push for me to get an upgrade when i refused she didnt bother me again. Breakfast was supposed to be included was told that was extra so decided to eat out even though i booked this at the time.

Lovely little hotel in Tel Aviv. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Fantastic spread for breakfast which was served most of the morning so we appreciated being able to get up when we liked. Location was perfect - close to many nice restaurants and shops, easy bus routes and only 10 mins to the beach front. Room was clean and comfortable (some road noise but I think that’s normal for TLV). Would definitely recommend

Clean room and great location, friendly and helpful staff!

Old, dirty, untiddy, small rooms even the suite we had and no service at all. Very expensive for that poor hotel.

We wish our stay was longer. The staff was great - very friendly and went over and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The rooms were nice and very clean, and the hotel is located in a central area - close to the beach and in proximity to many restaurants and bars. I would definitely stay here again and recommend others to stay.

The location of this hotel is the best, very close to restaurants and beaches. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful where others was not very friendly.. .. Also, the hotel needs a bit of renovation..

Very charming hotel with rooms complete of every comfort in a pleasant design. Funny surprise in the lift, great team. Beach at 10 minutes walk, restaurants and shopping boulevard around the corner. Interesting variety for breakfast and best Italian coffee. We'll definitely come back.

Great staff very friendly and helpful.

The property had a unique design architecturally and was located right in the center of Tel Aviv. We were greeted wonderfully with tasty croissants and a coffee. We arrived early, but the staff still ensured our room was available. The staff went above and beyond, making each guest feel special and welcome. The breakfast was also delicious. Would definitely recommend it!

Ein schönes Hotel, welches gut vom Flughafen zu erreichen ist und eine super Lage innerhalb der Stadt hat. Alle Mitarbeiter im Hotel sind sehr freundlich und sprechen diverse Sprachen! Auf unsere Probleme wurde sofort eingegangen und diese zu unserer Zufriedenheit gelöst. Unserer kleinen Tochter hat es ebenfalls super gefallen. Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland.

Location(although now there is construction for the urban train and is a detriment for…a year?). Everything you need if you like the beach, eat well,well appointed shops,city life. Small very nice boutique hotel.
