Clean room, well kept grounds. True escape in the jungle, among nature right outside the door. Extremely happy with our stay. Lots of animal encounters. Friendly staff. Great food.

We spent five nights at the hotel. Without a shadow of a doubt, it is the best hotel in the La Fortuna region. We stayed in one of the chalets, which have been renovated, and all the finishes are of excellent quality. The biggest issue is that the entire property is currently undergoing renovations, which creates a lot of noise for guests who want to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. This is definitely not a good time of year for that: it is high season, and all accommodations were fully booked. Very positive points include the cleanliness and the politeness of the hotel staff. Very negative points are the pool, which is very poor and outdated and in need of a major renovation. The food at the main restaurant is also quite weak. The hotel needs to invest heavily in its restaurants, especially considering that the property is at least a 20-minute drive from other dining options. The property has a lot of potential.
