The front desk staff was amazing and helpful! The breakfast staff were also great - The food was plentiful and restocked often. There was a variety of English, German, and Norwegian breakfast choices - all delicious. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom had a bathtub/shower combination - the sides were a bit high and the floors were slippery. It just required a little extra care getting out. Overall, this was a fabulous hotel base camp for exploring around the fjord for a couple of days.

Clean room and helpful staff. Get there before the tour buses arrive. Walks are kind of thin and noise from nearby rooms can be heard.

The view from the room was outstanding and the proximity to town is great. The room was decently sized but the shower allowed water to run out throughout the floor. It's not an uncommon setup but this one in particular was tough and the fan in the bathroom didn't work. The views, the location all made it worth it but the price was kind of steep considering the basic nature of this stay. I guess I would stay again but not my most comfortable stay.

Day staff was very helpful in making suggestions for the day. The dinner buffet was wonderful. Many main course options and so many vegetables. My husband liked to desserts too. Thank you!
