The cabins are cozy and have everything you need to enjoy the Rockies view. Kitchen is conveniently staffed. There is a bbq for each cabin and a nice fireplace in the cabin. The bathroom could be a bit updated to make the cabin more comfortable. I would recommend to chose these cabins for a nice stay facing the Rockies

I had a fantastic stay at Rundle Chalets from the moment I arrived at the front office until I left the next day. My chalet was near the back of the beautiful property. It was very clean and included everything I needed. It was also very quiet and cozy. It's ideal for those who want to experience nature and get some work done. While their, I also met both the Office Manager (at checkin) and Property Owner while playing with my dog, on the large recreational greenspace in front of the chalets that also provides barbeques, picnic tables and fire pits for the guests to use. I can't say enough about this special get away property and will be back this winter. I highly recommend it!

Clean, cozy, rustic cabin. Bed very comfy. Had everything needed to meal prep. Even fire pit to relax by. Very enjoyable. 5 minutes from Canmore and next to Banff. Lovely setting.

Great little fully stocked cabin for a good price (compared to rest of Canmore/Banff region). It looks a little dated but everything was clean and everything worked.

Well-priced little cabins with everything you need for a comfortable stay away from the crowds. We had a queen bed and sofa bed, full range and oven, bar fridge, microwave, kettle and utensils, and this was the basuc cabin! The grounds provide picnic benches and fire pits. Would stay again, summer or winter.

Rooms were clean and cabins are cozy. Nothing fancy, but it is good for the price.

I would love to give this place 5 stars. The rustic charm of the cabin was spot on. However, some more care and attention needs to be taken when it comes to cleaning in between guests, especially in the washroom. As well, the kitchen could have been a bit more put together, finding proper places for small appliances and things to go, instead of just piling them up on the microwave.

We chose this place for its affordability, and we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the unit was. The kitchen is stocked with basic utensils and even some pots and pans, which we appreciated (note: no oil/salt/pepper! You will need to bring your own if you want to cook). But the unit is not clean. There is nothing that one can SEE as being dirty right away, but a few minutes after we came in, I began having a very bad allergic reaction to dust. My children's feet were black after walking around the unit. If the units are cleaned a bit more thoroughly, I think they would be such a great, affordable place to stay around the Banff area.

Front desk staff were friendly and did their best to answer our questions and queries. The chalet had great views out over the Three Sisters. Lovely. The chalet is also a novel reflection of what kind of alternative accommodation you can find in the Rockies. However, the inside of the chalet was not so clean. Our daughter's fitted sheet had two holes in evidence. This should never be the case in accommodation which charges hotel prices. There was no housekeeping. We were given one half-used toilet roll to last for two days, for three people. We had to ask for an extra portable light as the place was so dark and very dimly lit from the main central light fitting. Our daughter got all-over-body bites from bed bugs which a pharmacist confirmed as such. We had to buy special ointment to deal with the after-effects of the bites, and were advised by the pharmacist to let the owner/managers (+ local health authority) of the chalet know, so they could fumigate it. We did make contact with the owners, who initially responded by saying they would make further contact with us. We have since heard absolutely nothing from them. In the meantime, we have subsequently read reviews on other sites (which we had not seen prior to booking with Hotels.com) whereby there are several other reports of bed-bugs from previous travellers who had stayed at Rundle Chalets. Had we seen these reviews, we probably would not have chosen this accommodation. PLEASE check other sites before you book.

Staff always friendly, cabins very clean

we were extremly pleased with the accommidation it had every thing we needed the room was very clean we would tell all our friends and family about it and if there in that area they would come and stay

Nice cabins, just a little unclean.

Did not stay at property. Walked in- walked out. The place was run down, dirty, old, needed work… and needed a new shower curtain. Do not recommend.

Our stay was good overall but the cabin needed a more thorough cleaning before we arrived, the kitchen needed a few more amenities, and the seating in the living area was inadequate. I don’t think the floors were washed, and being a pet friendly hotel we found the floors turned our feet black. There was also pet hair under the couch. There was no can opener, wine glasses, the baking sheets provided were too big to fit into the oven, and there was no tin foil or plastic wrap. The cabin says that it accommodates 6 people, but the couch was very small and the only extra seating were the hard dining chairs. I stayed here with my dog on sept.30th. Really enjoyed my night here. I arrived after dark and was greeted warmly by the front desk woman. The chalet is super conveniently located and was a good place to stay to hike in Kananaskis. I stayed in a studio cabin and it was very spacious. Had a full kitchen with everything I needed. Heat worked great, hot water was amazing. Tv and WiFi worked great. I loved the privacy and the quiet of my own cabin, no shared walls was lovely. Fire pits outside to have a fire and sit around. It had that cozy cabin feel and I really loved my stay here. I'll for sure be back. A few small inconveniences; No butter knives in the kitchen, bathroom was pretty tight for space but for a single person it was fine. Fridge was a bit too cold and it froze some of my food including my eggs which made it interesting to cook them in the morning. Bed was too hard and not comfortable. Property is a bit dark so I found it hard to find my cabin and navigate the grounds Overall a really nice stay and extremely affordable especially given the area! Good place as a base for adventures.

What a cozy and lovely little spot! We wanted a quick getaway and this lil cabin gave us just what we needed! It’s simple and cozy, with a lovely inside stove to warm up the place (and a great heater so you don’t have to depend on the fire for warmth!). We woke up to snow outside our little nest and it was just… charming. Slight noise from the train and highway, but honestly it didn’t feel off or annoying. We’ll be back!

Perfectly clean. Everything there that I needed. Comfy bed and sofa. The bathroom is absolute minimum size, particularly for showering and dressing.

It is an old style cozy room. Very comfortable. Gas heater works well. Good for a couple or single person. You can prepare your food if you want. Easy check in and checkout. Amazing view (mountains).

Quaint cabins, easy to access from the highway and close to Canmore, nice mountain views. Very clean and staff were responsive. Biggest complaint is the fold out sofa bed in the 1 bedroom cabin. Absolutely needs to be replaced - frame is very uneven. Had to put the mattress on the floor, but then too thin and uncomfortable. Also, despite being called a 1 bdrm, the bedroom is only big enough for the bed and does not have a door, so it's not really a bedroom. Something to note if you need the privacy of a bedroom. Overall, happy with the stay other than the bed problem.

I found the bed uncomfortable and the shower was well definitely not too great. Other than that, it was very rustic and cozy. I personally would not stay there again only because of the shower issue.

Room was clean but very rustic. Had an ancient furnace which made extremely loud noises. Kitchen was ok but tiny. It did offer a stove and cooking utensils with a small table and chairs. Bathroom is extremely tiny and cramped. We did have a great view of the mountains.

The property was a little run down. Shower was small. The front desk staff was friendly. We didn't have any washcloths and she got them for us immediately. Upgraded our room to two bedrooms without charge, which was nice. It was quiet. Kinda lacks parking for all the cabins. Overall a decent place to stay.

Everyone was so nice, it all went smoothly and was easy and effortless. The cabin was so cute and the Wood burning stove was amazing. The location is perfect.

Good staff

Booked a studio room for my boyfriend’s birthday as a surprise. Before staying I contacted the desk and asked if we could have a room with a fireplace as some don’t have them, they were super lovely and accommodating! The cabins are rustic and cozy! With the fire going I felt like I was in a hallmark movie, super cute! Way more character than you’d get staying in a hotel for sure. Cabin was as clean as you can get a rustic little cabin. Though some of the pans in the kitchen may have needed an extra wipe down (literally my only complaint and it wasn’t that big of a deal) Very cute place I 10/10 recommend it to anyone who wants a mountain cabin get away!

The Cabin was clean and well maintained. Had plenty of kitchen ware for us to use and whenever I had a question the owner was very nice and helpful. I hope to visit again soon!

Staff was very friendly.

Frustrating check in. We were told the office was open from 1600. We arrived after then and the staff werent in the office. There was a phone number we could ring but we are travelling and didnt have mobike phone coverage so couldnt ring the number. We eventually had to go knock on motel room doors to find the staff member. Then check in took awhile as their appeared to be a language barrier. Disappointed with the cabin. Very small especially the bathroom. The shower taps very hard to turn on or off and dripped. We did advise staff but didnt appear to have been fixed despite saying they would fix it. Photos of cabin were very deceptive and we felt that it was outrageously expensive for what we had.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable. It was a nice stay. Will come back again soon.

rustic cabin, close to Canmore

The location is perfect. Close enough to Banff and Canmore to be quickly accessible but far enough away to feel private and quiet. The cabin was rustic, cozy, and clean. Definitely not fancy but had a real mountain cabin feel. We really enjoyed our stay.

The chalet was rustic, warm and cosy, looking straight out to the mountains. Although quite close to a road, it is very quiet inside and at night. The chalet was not huge but fine for two and all the basics are there. Staff are very helpful if you need anything (they provided a hairdryer quickly. Parking is good and the pretty town of Canmore has everything you need just a few miles away. Embrace the bear hut!

Our stay at Rundle Chalets was excellent. The place is cozy, clean, and surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. Its location in Harvie Heights is very convenient, just a short drive to both Banff and Canmore. Highly recommended!!!

Very cute cabins, rustic but very charming! The girl at checkin was very nice & they have a key drop for easy checkout. I only stayed 1 night as a solo traveller w my dog, but would be fun w a group sitting around the fire as many people were doing. The location doesn't seem to have much for restaurants & food etc so bring your own snacks! I think I saw a menu that offered sushi when checking in. Coffee is supplied for the am as well a small stove, fridge, microwave, & toaster oven. I really enjoyed my stay, I will likely return & would definitely recommend to others 👍

Great spot right outside of Banff

Nice cozy cabins, suitable for families and couples. Even though the place looks a bit beat up from outside, once you step into the cabins, they are just great. Service is just amazing, very friendly and helpful staff at front dest and housekeeping.

Nice, cozy cabins, and great staff. It was great for three of us that wanted separate bedrooms, but the same little house. Also made use of the kitchenette, a great alternative to eating out.

We loved staying here! Having a kit hen was a plus for our vacation. Its a "rustic" location so if thats your jam, you will love it like we did. Very friendly and helpful owners. Clean cabins and surroundings. Well kept. We will definitely stay here again!

Kitchen worked very well

Little cabin had everything we wanted and more like a real fire burning fireplace. Kitchen and furniture is a bit outdated but we really didn’t mind that at all. Bed was comfortable. We will be back.

Just what we needed. Small cabin but beds were comfortable. Spent most of our day exploring Banff National Park. Was able to cook simple breakfast and dinner each day. Front desk folks are very friendly.
