Laminate floors were falling apart. Only half the light worked. Pool was good.

No breakfast like advertised! Beds were jammed in room, 2 different sizes. Garbage was overflowing in parking lot, pool was dirty! Overall a sketchy place to stay.

Nice place parking lot not so much

Negatives: Carpets dirty, burn holes and several stains on bed spread, dark substance splashed on walls and dripped down, and heat/air unit was rusted and very loud and difficult to regulate, deadbolt would not work, lamp shade above bed was crushed on one side, Shower curtain held up with zip ties; property had several trash cans, but bags of trash piled around overflowing cans all 3 days. July 3 and pool was empty except for dark green sludge on the bottom. Sign stated “closed for winter”. We didn’t feel we even wanted to try breakfast… the lobby was not clean, had trash on the floor in the vending machine room and lobby area. Positives: K bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. Bathroom was clean and good working order. Staff was nice. I thought I was getting a great deal through Expedia for a good room. Photos on the site were very deceptive, nothing like actual property. We were extremely disappointed. I’ve paid similar prices at much higher quality bargain properties.

Kind of off the beaten path. End of July and thebpiol is still closed for winter.

Only thing I would change is the dog area needed to be cleaned up. Otherwise everything was fine

I understand this property is in a state of renovations. From what I saw when I first drove in an improvement has been made from when it was a Motel 6. The grounds in general are cleaner but not as clean as they could be. The biggest issue is the large grass area that is being used as a place to exercise dogs. People are not cleaning up after their dog. Perhaps poop bags and a garbage container would help in this area. People are also using it as a dumping ground. As the rooms are being renovated, consider should be given to a complete renovation as opposed to bits and pieces of it. Socket covers and the shower in my room needed to be replaced. The floors also needed to be cleaned. With the new flooring that was in the room a sweep and mop would have taken care of the dirt that was on the floor. Staff was courteous. I will mention that the staff, at check in, did not ask if house keeping would be required or if I would be OK without it. I look forward to seeing the facility once all the renovations have been completed.

There is garbage in the parking lot and people sitting outside talking everywhere.

The place is run down and needs updating. The carpets are dirty and stained. There are broken down cars and trucks parked all over the parking lot. I had to switch rooms because the TV remote was missing and they couldn’t get a replacement to work. The room numbers are falling off the doors and the trash cans out side are overflowing with broken beer bottles around them. I won’t stay again.

The parking is terrible. The air conditioning in my room does not work at all. It runs, but does not cool. The front desk was blaze and complacent and lazy. The room below me, was having some kind of drug episode: window wide open and was flipping and flopping around on the floor semi-clothed and was flinging furniture around. His room was in total disarray. Called the front desk, and the guy working called an ambulance.

Your website advertises a continental breakfast but there was none. The towels and beds were not clean, the linens didn’t look like they had been changed between guests and the towels had hair on them. The deadbolt latch also didn’t work. This hotel is sketchy at best. Spend a few extra $ and stay somewhere nicer.

Floors hadnt been swept, and they were pretty dirty. Comforters on both beds had cigarette hole burns in them, and were obviously very worn. No mattress protectors on the beds. No soap. Just 4 tiny shampoo bottles? No continental breakfast as advertised. I would have paid 10 dollars more for a continental breakfast and a clean place. No outlets by the beds. The floors had been redone, and that was the highlight, even though they were gross. Found a roach. Microwave smelled like fish.

It was a terrible night. The AC does not work. The room smelled of cigarettes. the towels were not clean. I don't recommend it to anyone.

Very dirty and room smile are bad for family in not recommended to with kids

Rooms were dirty, stains everywhere, had to check for bed bugs, completely disgusting, the only good thing was the manager of the hotel.

I booked a non-smoking room, but there were cigarette butts on the floor. The room was dirty, with stained sheets, hair on the bedding, and dirt everywhere. There were cockroaches, no working AC, and the main light made a terrible noise. The hotel clearly needs to improve cleanliness and maintenance—would not stay here again.

1st room they gave us toilet overflowed on first flush. Feces everywhere Gave us another room....bathroom sink did not work.....would not open to drain. Had to hand wash and spit toothpaste in shower. Took shower in AM and towel rack fell off. Very shady crowds around. Worst motel ever

Many of the doors did not have the complete number on them. Very dirty outside. Unsightly furniture outside door of motel. Lots of trash around the parking lot. Shower and bed were great. No coffee maker or ice bucket. No freezer in refrigerator. Many of the trash containers around the property were overflowing. Remote didn't have any batteries and the office didn't either, so I had to go buy some. The toilet got plugged up easily. There was no plunger available so we had to get our own.

You definitely get what you pay for at this hotel. We checked into our first room, walked upstairs and opened the door, immediately hit with cigarette stench, and the walls and smoke alarm were visibly yellow from nicotine. The front desk claims that the hotel doesn’t allow smoking. As we walked out of that room, the person in the room next to us had their door wide open, several people inside, and were visibly using meth. I went downstairs and got our room switched to another room, no cigarette smell this time, but still very thin walls from the people next door, TWO shaving razors were left behind in the shower from whoever stayed last, and some of the lights did not work. Probably will not choose this hotel again.

First room we got smelled terrible. Its an old motel so figured we'd pick up an air freshener.NBD. AC didnt work and it was hot so went to front desk. Got a second room. This room jad hardwood flooring so ot didnt smell as bad and had AC...but the key card lock didnt work so anyone could walk in the room. Third room was somehwat successful though. Still smelled bad sonwe go an air freshener. Evverything was dirty. Stains all over the place. Walls even had dirt. Like, juat wipe it away when cleaning. The property was covered in dirt and cigarettte butts. No pride of ownership at this place.

Not my ideal accommodations. The room was small with two full size beds crowded in it. There was no phone and the security lock on the door was broken and useless. The room wreaked of stale cigarettes. Bathroom looked clean but toilet had some difficulty flushing. The lady at the desk was helpful and had a pleasant personality.

Worst room I have ever rented. Door to room looked like it had been kicked in. Holes in drywall, paint splattered on bathroom door. No soap of any kind supplied. Windows were stained, looked like they had not been cleaned in years.

The beds were mismatched. Sheets were very rough and piling up. My skin felt terrible and I couldnt sleep. There were what looked like blood stains on the box spring and the box spring and mattress was torn in places. The Staff seemed friendly though.

Shower was new. Vents were dirty. Beds and pillows were lumpy. No phone or usb hookups. Noise minimal. Air/heater was extremely noisy and bad musky smell when turned off.

The staff and owner are the best. The alternater went out on our car as we returned to the hotel. It was evening, so I waited til morning and talked to the clerk on duty. He said he had tools I could borrow. The owner drove me to the local autoparts store to get a new alternator. With the new part and a few borrowed tools we were on the road in an hour. Great customer service.

A little tricky to locate with Helena one way streets, but ok. Check-in was not as reserved, but helpful staff on duty provided options to make it work, thank you!

We had to stay here out of necessity. The staff treeated us well the whole time. Never really had a problem here once they got rid of the troublemakers.

The lady at the front desk was jolly and friendly and got me checked in fast after 12 hours on the road that day.

Upon arrival noticed vagrants sleeping under the stairs. Enter our room and we had to open all the windows and turn on tje fan, as it smelled of bleach. The pool was out of use and disusting. (Not as aevertised) T.v. did not work. Despite asking multiple times, no one came to repair or replace. Only two towels alloted and they only exchange. Refused to give us additional even though there where 5 of us, two adults 2 children and an infant. No rollaway or crib. Active drug use all hours of the day and night. No slide lock for the door, refused to fix or allow us to change rooms. Shower has very limited pressure. Vagrants leaving their animals tied up all day. Managment and staff where rude and unwilling to help. I even had to retrieve my own toilet paper. Trash cans left outside overfilled and never cleaned up. Would not recommend.

The place double booked me..then told me when i arrived they didn’t have a room … they could have told me days ahead of time..I had an email confirmation of my stay as well..I spoke to the general manager and he told me it’s not their fault.. it was “a computer glitch”… he was very unprofessional for a general manager…and they still charged my credit card!!!

WHEN I FIRST checked in&THEY put me in 226 upstairs I had requested a disability room downstairs because of my CONCUSSION, THAT was the FIRST issue?2nd I then I get up to the room&there's no remote for the TV😢 then I go to walk in the bathroom and the stuff had been moved around and use I immediately went down to the front desk also asked if I could have a remote and let them know that the stuff in the bathroom had been moved around and stuff so they moved me to room 229 I get into this room and underneath my bed is empty Coors light 3beer cans? No phone?Then to 🔝 it off the TV won't turn on it wasnt plugged unplugged and I could barely get the plug to stay in so the TV would stay on&top it off you're SUPPOSED, it SAYS on the sites that they have a continental BREAKFAST? Extras ETC& so on for TV stations&options, well that's not the TRUTH no room at 229 I was just saying only had six available stations the whole three days I stayed here I was here 3 days from Thursday through Sunday& I'm VIP I ACTUALLY LIKE2STAY HERE!?😢It's been about give or take 3 years SINCE I've stayed here tho?I usually come and get a room so I just have some peace and quiet and I can do my own thing in town I live out in East Helena I LIVE IN Town SO it's not like I NEEDED the ROOM, ANYWAYS when I checked in the FRONT desk younger ♂️ was PRETTY very rudeness, HONESTLY😢Thankfully there's One housekeeper LITERALLY 1?🙏 Hey NAME is April&she was ABSOLUTELY 💯🙏 amazingly HELPFUL& apologetically 4 ALL

Afternoon desk clerk was quite rude! I asked for extra blanket and he acted like I wanted the moon!

This ABVI is near a collection of motels but still somewhat hidden. It is a former Motel 6. Friday night looked like party night with lots of people loitering outside of their rooms. I doubt that I would return.

This was a great over nite place to stay. Easy off the freeway access but one of the quietest hotels I have stayed in. I would stay here agsin. Great for walking the dog. Nice friendly check in service

Would never use Expedia to book room again. They sold a room that was not available. Hotel in poor shape. Indicated a pool which was an outdoor pool which clearly is not usable in March. Felt unsafe in the area as encountered many homeless and addicted people in lobby

Very much a budget hotel but close to shopping and right off the interstate so very convenient.

Its a maze to get to tue hotel. Not much parking for the number of rooms. Sketchy area and people in the parking lot. Rooms are outdated and walls are mared. Beddijg is old and stained. If I could have cancelled before checking in and seeing the room even, I would have.

This place was terrible! The air conditioners didn’t work, even when they moved us to a different room. The water pressure was so low it only came out in a drizzle. Everything was run down, even the condition of the floors. The windows were filthy. A continental breakfast was advertised but it consisted of coffee only. We have used Hotels.com for years and haven’t ever had a problem. But this place was awful and we can’t believe Hotels.com would ever advertise a place like this. Very disappointing!

When travelling, I look for hotels wit free breakfast as it saves money and is very convenient, especially if you have children. This hotel listed free breakfast but it was the worst I have ever seen on hotels.com. No hot food except for quaker state porridge packets (no milk or cream), no taost or bagels, no eggs, or breakfast meat, no breakfast burrito. The choices were 4 oranges ( n knife to cut it and none available at front desk), and a couple of sugar garbage pre packaged granola type cookies. I saw parents show up with kids and turn away with only coffee. I saw immigrant working men show up and refuse to eat any of it. There has to be some sort of standard when listing free breakfast and this failed absolutley. Very dishonest management

Our first room was fire code violation and run down, holes in curtains and carpet. Had to go through Expedia to get a room change offer. Second room was some what better. Had smell to room, as if someone had been smoking. Bedspread had burn holes. No bathroom fan, covered with cardboard. Advertisement said continental breakfast - nope.
