E' un albergo molto carino che ha una terrazza con una piccola piscina e veduta panoramica, il personale è molto gentile, nel ristorante si mangia bene ed è anche possibile chiedere delle bibite nel pomeriggio, lo consiglio.

Einfaches Hotel, Küche gut, Frühstück o.k. Und Garage etwas eng, wenn gut besucht. 20 Minuten Fussmarsch zum Centrum. Relativ ruhig und Pool und seine Umgebung etwas lieblos. Essen und Frühstück draussen könnte gemütlicher sein. Für drei Tage o.k., länger würde ich mir etwas anderes suchen. Personal freundlich.

The pool area was beautiful with great views. The restaurant was excellent ! I stress dinner there twice. Beautiful and delicious meals. The breakfast was a true continental breakfast but still had options.

The room was very "okay". In need of updating and some deep clean. The wallpaper was peeling and there were some bad glue jobs that were kind of creepy. Looked like some sort of bug had been glued into the base board. View was nice from our room. Worst part of the two night stay was when we went to check out the front desk person (Richard or Richardo) said we had to settle up a couple things like breakfast and the city tax. I told him we didn't have the breakfast as we never get it as we rarely eat breakfast. He said, "well ...how about the second day????" I said, "No....we did not have the breakfast!" With this he said, "Well someone said they saw you eating breakfast." I said firmly, "we did not have breakfast!" Thinking back the reality of this is I hardly think someone said, "When that Canadian couple check out I bet they will say they didn't have breakfast!!!!" Is this just a ploy to call people out that may have stolen breakfast. In retrospect I should have demanded to speak to the manager and ask for compensation for this act!! All in all not impressed at all with the hotel and would not return. Room was priced high for what it was. 18 CHF for parking that was easy

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Delfino. We had a twin room with a balcony with a city view. The beds were very comfortable, and the air conditioner worked well. Our favorite part of our stay was the breakfast. The hotel offered an extensive breakfast buffet, and there are quite a few tables indoors and around the pool area. The pool itself is very nice, with a shower off to the side. Pool towels are available at reception. You can also get free bus passes at reception. The lake is a couple of blocks away, with easy access to the walkway that runs along the lakeside.

Our favorite part of our stay was the breakfast. The hotel offered an extensive breakfast buffet, and there are quite a few tables indoors and around the pool area. We stayed 3 nights and loved it! Everyone was welcoming and kind. We ate breakfast and dinner every day at the restaurant at the hotel. The food was delicious and there were lots of choices. The rooms were spotless.

Localização razoável, possível ir a pé pra estação de trem e pro centro, para quem gosta de uma caminhada.. hotel antigo.. limpo, porém com a roupa de cama de qualidade baixa deixa o aspecto um pouco duvidoso. Banheiro ok. Não utilizei estacionamento.

Barrierefreie Unterkunft. Sauberes Hotel mit drei Sternen im gehobenen Bereich. Absolut zu empfehlen, aber leider im Segment Speisen und Getränke sehr teuer. Personal sehr freundlich.

A little outside of the downtown area, but a short Uber ride away. My room had a gorgeous view of the lake and surrounding mountains and lovely balcony. Very clean, friendly staff and air-conditioning that was a big relief on a hot, humid June day.

Its an alright hotel, it's a bit outdated, and the room was fine but nothing special. The listing also says it's in the center of town, and it is about a twenty-minute walk or a mile from Paradiso.

We reported that our air conditioner was not working. The air conditioner in the adjoining room that we rented WAS working. The property manager tried to tell us that they don't turn on the air conditioning until June. We did not believe that statement for one minute. The hallways were cool. Our second room was cool. When we spoke to the front desk initially, they said someone would look at it. Noone ever did. Then the manager tries to give us a speech about how we are all helping the environment. Nope. We paid for air conditioning. Also, our mini fridge was not working. The one in our second room was working. We reported it and were told that that is how it is. Our bottles of water would be served at room temperature. So, it really wasn't a fridge, but a storage unit. Nope! Also, this property is advertised as having ceiling fans. We didn't see or feel a single one. Misadvertised!

Stayed for two one-night stays as part of a road trip, different rooms each time. Pros: the interconnecting rooms for a family are very convenient and the beds are comfortable. Cons: the hotel feels strikingly dated in terms of decor and amenities. We could not use European adaptors as they would not fit; there are no USB charging points in the rooms.The breakfast is ok but not a huge selling point, and we found it overall a bit soulless though it is convenient to be able to eat there in the evening as it is a distance from the centre of Lugano. For the money I felt it did not offer great value; however it was a cheaper option in the location so perhaps I am expecting too much. None of the reviews mentioned the train line behind the property! Not a deal breaker but hat means frequent and quite noticeable noise. Staff generally pleasant and helpful; a good pit-stop overall

I enjoyed my room on the fourth floor with a gorgeous view but when you pay way more than 300 Swiss Francs a night for this three star hotel, you expect more than a room with a Decent hotel but way too expensive. Very dated decor and basic furnishings. Room was cramped and the walls were very thin. Had a room with a connecting door and could hear everything in the adjoining room. Difficult to get a good night’s sleep and do any work in the morning. Location is okay but not particularly scenic for Lugano. Staff at reception were very friendly and welcoming. Lugano is expensive but at over 200 CHF a night this felt very overpriced.

The check-in was lacking clarity which locked U.S. out after getting robbed at the train station at midnight. They don’t answer the emergency line they offer. The walls are power thin and house keeping talks across the halls while cleaning. Make sure you take the door code everywhere, they will lock you out. The place is very safe and we were grateful for the locals. They stop responding to what’s app (their offering for communication) once you are checked in. Would not turn to this hotel, but would rewritten to this city.

We reported that our air conditioner was not working. The air conditioner in the adjoining room that we rented WAS working. The property manager tried to tell us that they don't turn on the air conditioning until June. We did not believe that statement for one minute. The hallways were cool. Our second room was cool. When we spoke to the front desk initially, they said someone would look at it. Noone ever did. Then the manager tries to give us a speech about how we are all helping the environment. Nope. We paid for air conditioning. Also, our mini fridge was not working. The one in our second room was working. We reported it and were told that that is how it is. Our bottles of water would be served at room temperature. So, it really wasn't a fridge, but a storage unit. Nope! Also, this property is advertised as having ceiling fans. We didn't see or feel a single one. Misadvertised!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Simon made dinner service delightful (along with every other interaction). We very much enjoyed our stay and have no problem recommending this lovely hotel in wonderful Paradiso!

The room was very "okay". In need of updating and some deep clean. The wallpaper was peeling and there were some bad glue jobs that were kind of creepy. Looked like some sort of bug had been glued into the base board. View was nice from our room. Worst part of the two night stay was when we went to check out the front desk person (Richard or Richardo) said we had to settle up a couple things like breakfast and the city tax. I told him we didn't have the breakfast as we never get it as we rarely eat breakfast. He said, "well ...how about the second day????" I said, "No....we did not have the breakfast!" With this he said, "Well someone said they saw you eating breakfast." I said firmly, "we did not have breakfast!" Thinking back the reality of this is I hardly think someone said, "When that Canadian couple check out I bet they will say they didn't have breakfast!!!!" Is this just a ploy to call people out that may have stolen breakfast. In retrospect I should have demanded to speak to the manager and ask for compensation for this act!! All in all not impressed at all with the hotel and would not return. Room was priced high for what it was. 18 CHF for parking that was easy

The check-in was lacking clarity which locked U.S. out after getting robbed at the train station at midnight. They don’t answer the emergency line they offer. The walls are power thin and house keeping talks across the halls while cleaning. Make sure you take the door code everywhere, they will lock you out. The place is very safe and we were grateful for the locals. They stop responding to what’s app (their offering for communication) once you are checked in. Would not turn to this hotel, but would rewritten to this city.

Very friendly personnel in general, but I would like to call out Simon: what a outstanding employee! He made our stay and dinner experience exceptional. Very easy public transport connections downtown Lugano. The accommodation itself can use some modernization in terms of furniture and room interior. The quality of the beds was very good.

Einfaches Hotel, Küche gut, Frühstück o.k. Und Garage etwas eng, wenn gut besucht. 20 Minuten Fussmarsch zum Centrum. Relativ ruhig und Pool und seine Umgebung etwas lieblos. Essen und Frühstück draussen könnte gemütlicher sein. Für drei Tage o.k., länger würde ich mir etwas anderes suchen. Personal freundlich.

I think it's the best value for money in Lugano, trains nearbyby are frequent but quieter than US. Bed was hard and I would suggest bringing your own pillow. Staff were ecellent and friendly and the breakfast was limited but fairly priced. It's a difficult uphill, upstair walk from the lake so be in shape.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Delfino. We had a twin room with a balcony with a city view. The beds were very comfortable, and the air conditioner worked well. Our favorite part of our stay was the breakfast. The hotel offered an extensive breakfast buffet, and there are quite a few tables indoors and around the pool area. The pool itself is very nice, with a shower off to the side. Pool towels are available at reception. You can also get free bus passes at reception. The lake is a couple of blocks away, with easy access to the walkway that runs along the lakeside.

E' un albergo molto carino che ha una terrazza con una piccola piscina e veduta panoramica, il personale è molto gentile, nel ristorante si mangia bene ed è anche possibile chiedere delle bibite nel pomeriggio, lo consiglio.

Perfect location in Lugano. The hotel is definitely a bit dated and aged, but in that nice summer holiday family vibe, not bad at all. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms could definitely benefit from a few more little amenities like extra pillows, a safe, etc.

The pool area was beautiful with great views. The restaurant was excellent ! I stress dinner there twice. Beautiful and delicious meals. The breakfast was a true continental breakfast but still had options.

Barrierefreie Unterkunft. Sauberes Hotel mit drei Sternen im gehobenen Bereich. Absolut zu empfehlen, aber leider im Segment Speisen und Getränke sehr teuer. Personal sehr freundlich.

Location was good, right by a bus stop and a 10 minute walk up and down to Franklin University. One staff member who was a male at front desk was very friendly everyone else was fair. They advertise self service laundry but it is not available which was very disappointing as that is one feature of why I choose this hotel. Breakfast was ok, it entailed scrambled or boiled eggs, breads, yogurt, and some fruit and cereals. Loved the fresh OJ. Facilities inside are warm with no A/C expect in your room. Amenities are lacking as there was only a small bar soap and a multipurpose shampoo, we almost fell a few times in the shower and there are no mats. Make sure to bring an umbrella as soon it rains often and this hotel did not have loaners. If you like a 70’s 80’s vibe you’ll like the decor. We will be making many trips to Lugano over the next 4 years, probably won’t stay here again.
