We stayed for 3 nights and were very surprised that Studio 6 is actually a Motel 6 - with an upgrade kichen suite. Excellent stay! However, we would not recommend this location if you have disabilities since the elevator was not functioning and there is no ground level suites Harold & Sonia Saskatoon

Studio 6 was in the same building as Motel 6, which surprised us but the room was large, clean and very adequate for our needs. The lack of a working elevator was inconvenient and there was no breakfast, but the location was very good for our needs.

The room was very big. And comfortable. We booked for the hottub and it wasn't working so that was disappointing. But front desk staff were wonderful and very friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

When we arrived at the motel their elevator wasn’t working We had to walk up and down 3 flights of stairs to get to our room.Upon entering the room and turning on the ceiling pot lights they started to flicker so bad you felt like you were having a stroke. Then tried to turn on the floor lamp and it didn’t work. Tried using the tv and it didn’t work properly so I called the desk and the desk clerk got it working. He also brought up a replacement bulb for the floor lamp. Used 2 tissues out of the Kleenex box and it was empty. Went to use the the shower only to find hairs on the back of the tub left by previous tenants.The only good thing we found with the room was the bed was comfortable. I will never stay here again

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. It had an apartment sized fridge in it not just one of those little mini fridges. Pool area was clean and kept up. Our biggest issue was beds are on the firm side.

Old hotel in need of an update. The elevator is out of order, door locks and handles are very old, not very secure and didn’t always work with the key. We found bars wrappers in our room and food not cleaned out of the fridge. No breakfast. On a positive note, the hot tub was nice and warm but we had to go ask for towels as the pool area was out.

Hotel is great quality for the price! Very convenient location near the mall. Don't let some of the other reviews sway your decision. Pool and Hot tub were both open and working. Hotel does not have a continental breakfast but we did not expect it to as no Motel 6's do. They just have the signage still up from the previous version of the hotel. Pets stay free! Will definitely stay again.

Can't beat the price for a weekend getaway. We laughed when someone said the air conditioner was too loud but they really are. We had the TV volume at 6 with the air off and had to turn the volume to 34 with the air on. Actually did get annoying after a while. Spent most of the time in the hot tub anyway :)

Our stay was disappointing... our first room had a toilet issue, and after two attempts to fix it, we had to pack up and move to a second room. The door to the bathroom in that room had to be physically struggled with to close. It had a hole kicked in it. The top of the fridge and shelves were dusty and the room had a distinct smell. The coffee maker had the lid broken off and was very dusty so would not have used it anyway. We found tidbits on the floor that we had to pick up. The TV reception was very poor and we were encouraged to log into our own accounts on the smart TV to get anything viewable. We would not stay here again. The staff were all fantastic and that made our stay tolerable.

We stayed for two nights at this property and we were very impressed. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, great location and friendly staff. We would definitely stay at this location again in Minot.

What a disappointment. Motel 6 advertises this as a different entity called Studio 6. I was reminded why I do not stay at Motel 6 hotels. While the front desk staff were very polite, our room was very small, not clean, old and worn down. Huge hole in bathroom door as if someone kicked it open, mucous flakes on bed, worn out furniture and improperly cleaned sink. Price was over $220/night! Property raised prices for State Fair. Well this room was worth $60/night at best. We immediately checked-out after checking in. It was worth paying an extra $40/night to stay at another clean hotel with proper upkeep. Staff attempted to accommodate and showed me another "updated" room however, it was the same run down furniture just holes were repaired. Requested a refund and eventually it was approved through Expedia.

Thebroom was filty when we checked in. There was food stuffed into the armchair that was very visible whennwe walked into the room there was also food smeared.all over thenoutside of the fridge. Every surface was sticky in the room. The door to the bathroom would not always close, but whennit did, the handle was backwards and almost falling off. To get the deadbolt to latch, you had to shift the entire door, which made the door frame move. There was also a ceiling fan in the room with no way to turn it on. Carpet was disgusting. Clukd not turn on bedise lights because the switch was broken. Water handles were i stalled incorrectly - hot and cold were backwards. Staff was nice, handled the dirty room issue, but there was not much else they could do about the rest of it.

When we checked in we got to our room and found it was absolutely gross! We had to request a different room because we couldn’t handle it. It was like the maid cleaned up and put clean sheets on the bed and called it good enough! The second room that we got was definitely cleaner however it still needed some cleaning done! My wife was a maid many years ago and we are pretty easy going people so if she says it’s dirty that means it’s pretty bad. Would consider giving them another chance but only if they take this complaint seriously.

The room was clean and nice enough. Roomy. However the AC UNIT constantly turned on and off every few minutes no matter what it was set to. It is loud. The chair for suite was soiled beyond cleaning I think. Staff are courteous and professional. The door to the hotel was broken, usually you would need a hotel card to get in, but it was busted.

The staff were excellent and helpful but the walls are very very thin. I could hear music and running in the halls all night both nights. Plus noise from the pool even though I wasn’t overlooking the pool. Despite its age, it was clean and well kept.

Employees were overly mean when the kids did flips into pool. Aggressive and yelling at my son in law that if it happens again, they would be kicked out. A lady that I think was manager came to a lady in pool and was very rude asking her to turn her music off. I don’t think music was very load and she was playing classic country. I have been renting pool side rooms for 6 years when family come to town. I will not be coming back. I know rules are rules. But the meanness is what has me upset.

This hotel is very conveniently located to shopping and good restaurants. I won’t say it was the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed but I can definitely say it wasn’t the worst. It was decent for the money we paid and the front desk staff were extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Would stay there again.

My husband and I were up there for medical issues and the front desk staff were SO accommodating and so nice!! I would definitely recommend this location if you need to stay in Minot.

This hotel is very conveniently located to shopping and good restaurants. I won’t say it was the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed but I can definitely say it wasn’t the worst. It was decent for the money we paid and the front desk staff were extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Would stay there again.

Studio 6 was in the same building as Motel 6, which surprised us but the room was large, clean and very adequate for our needs. The lack of a working elevator was inconvenient and there was no breakfast, but the location was very good for our needs.

We got in late, so did not do too much, used the pool for a bit, our room was great, beds very comfy and it was nice and quiet. Would stay again

Hotel is great quality for the price! Very convenient location near the mall. Don't let some of the other reviews sway your decision. Pool and Hot tub were both open and working. Hotel does not have a continental breakfast but we did not expect it to as no Motel 6's do. They just have the signage still up from the previous version of the hotel. Pets stay free! Will definitely stay again.

It was very close to shopping and easy to get to. Staff were very friendly. It is showing it’s age. We only had 1 tv channel working in the room

Location was perfect - close to lots of stores and restaurants. Unfortunately the hotel room wasn’t very clean. Price was good, and hotel was fine for a quick trip (one night) but likely wouldn’t recommend hotel to others. Staff was friendly.

Studio 6 was in the same building as Motel 6, which surprised us but the room was large, clean and very adequate for our needs. The lack of a working elevator was inconvenient and there was no breakfast, but the location was very good for our needs.

Our stay was disappointing... our first room had a toilet issue, and after two attempts to fix it, we had to pack up and move to a second room. The door to the bathroom in that room had to be physically struggled with to close. It had a hole kicked in it. The top of the fridge and shelves were dusty and the room had a distinct smell. The coffee maker had the lid broken off and was very dusty so would not have used it anyway. We found tidbits on the floor that we had to pick up. The TV reception was very poor and we were encouraged to log into our own accounts on the smart TV to get anything viewable. We would not stay here again. The staff were all fantastic and that made our stay tolerable.

I didn't realize it was a motel 6 because of the name. BUT they've done a good job making it more inviting by a nice pool area and gathering area. No breakfast is a let down and the design of the rooms is deceiving with the panoramic views that are online. But it was clean. Recliner in room was not inviting.

Old hotel in need of an update. The elevator is out of order, door locks and handles are very old, not very secure and didn’t always work with the key. We found bars wrappers in our room and food not cleaned out of the fridge. No breakfast. On a positive note, the hot tub was nice and warm but we had to go ask for towels as the pool area was out.

Can't beat the price for a weekend getaway. We laughed when someone said the air conditioner was too loud but they really are. We had the TV volume at 6 with the air off and had to turn the volume to 34 with the air on. Actually did get annoying after a while. Spent most of the time in the hot tub anyway :)

Rooms could use updated carpet/flooring. Also the recliner in our room was completely broken. Closest door was hanging off rail.

Close proximity to stores and restaurants was nice. The pool has too much chlorine and is pretty icy. The air conditioner unit was full of mold, which we found after waking up horribly congested. The door was nearly impossible to open on a consistent basis and we heard our neighbors having the same struggles. The clientele was less than appealing, having loud screaming matches at all hours of the day and night. It is budget for a reason, or several.

Staff was excellent and accommodating. Hotel was better than I expected. The pool area is big. Hot Tub was great. Overall room was better than I expected. Very spacious, loved the full fridge. The bathroom in the room could use a little TLC but nothing to complain about.

Ok place , needs some TLC to the rooms , staff were decent, we had to unplug our toilet as soon as as we got in the room , but no issues after, bit noisy but you can have that in other hotels , convenient location that’s for sure , walking distance to the mall , restaurants

The room was ok. Our floor needed cleaning and our bathroom smelled like urine. The bedding & towels need to updated. The handicapped rooms should be closer to a door or elevator so a person with mobility issues doesn’t have to walk so far to a room. The beds were comfortable. And the front desk people were nice.
