The hotel has a policy which is very strict and inconvenient for out of town visitors. We arrived around 11:30am and were told we could not check in, park or leave our bags in the property until after 12pm. I have a toddler who was already tired from the travel, so we waited a bit and were able to park in the garage and leave our luggage in the car. Towels and beach chairs are provided by the hotel, so we went to the beach, which is a couple of blocks from the hotel, to wait for our room to be ready. Around 3pm we got the call that we could check in and went to our room. In all of my travels I’ve have never been denied to leave my belongings on a property and for $500 a night, I expected a little more. Breakfast was complimentary but again not at the level of the price tag. It was our first time at Rehoboth beach and I think I would go back again, but I’m not sure I would stay here again due to the price and amenities offered.

Overall great hotel - location was perfect and was spotless and loved the afternoon wine time. Front desk team and the beach shuttle person were wonderful. Housekeeping staff were the only unfriendly people - always chit chatting in the hallways and never saying hello or even making eye contact - they were always using the guest elevators with large baskets of towels and sheets which caused long delays for the elevator. As we were in the elevator on our way out one of the housekeepers got into the elevator with us and didn’t say hello or good morning, just said “you checking out” and when we said yes she her response was “what room?” And then proceeded to yell out our room number to the other attendants standing outside the elevator. Not a hello or good morning or even a question about how our stay was. Even a thank you would have been nice.

This was our 2nd time here and again it didn’t disappoint!! Great staff , clean, great pool , hot tub and sauna / steam room, fresh chocolate chip cookies every night at 8, and before that they have wine and cheese, all complementary! Free Hot breakfast every morning was great as well. Well worth the higher price then most places near the boardwalk, mist fo not have breakfast included!! Will stay there again!

It was an impromptu trip to the beach. We really enjoyed the room and its pool. Great time for my kids to burn off energy from being in the car. Loved the location. The cookies and milk feature was really cool and my kids enjoyed it. I really felt like this hotel was very family friendly. I would stay here again next time I go to the beach.

They are very strict about staying over in their parking spots, even when it’s dead. The pool water was really gross and left your suit smelling funky. The water was greenish and murky. You couldn’t see the bottom! They seemed understaffed, even though it didn’t appear to be a busy week. A lot of times when going to the front desk, there was no one there. When I asked about checking labels for a food allergy, the responsible person could not be found. This was for a child with a life-threatening food allergy, so she couldn’t eat the food. The distance to the beach is great and the man who has run the shuttle for years and hoses the beach chairs down is so sweet and helpful. Other than the cleaning crew, he was the only pleasant person on staff. On a plus side, the lobby atmosphere is very well set up and welcoming. If you’re stuck in on a rainy day, they have games and warm tea out, which was really nice. Plus there’s milk and cookies for an hour at night. We always love that, even if we can’t catch it in time.
