We stayed in the motel in May of this year and they were finishing up renovations and I rated it excellent then because of it overall condition then. Not only have they finished the inside but now have add a beautiful flower garden outside the front entrance and added a covered outside setting at the north end of the building. The prices are still the same and the owners remember their customers. If you are in the Parsons area you will find one of the finest locally owned motels in the central USA.

My wife and I have stayed in motel’s in many state's, but the Express motel in Parson Kansas is the finest locally owned motel that is being renovated by the owners themselves. The outside and inside is being restored and for an older facility is quaint, quiet and for the price a steal. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and take care of your needs quick. It has a nice indoor pool it’s not large but for a motel that charged us $67.00 plus tax it was a blessing.

I enjoyed my 2 night stay at Express Inn Parsons, KS. It's a pleasant hotel with very comfortable beds. The exterior was decorated with bright colors and beautiful plants. The parking lot was very clean & well lit. The owners were friendly and polite.

Overall was fine but the parking lot needed the snow cleared. It hadn't been plowed at all and made the parking lot hard to park. It was hard to sleep because you could hear people running around above us all night.

Was surprisingly very nice I was a little worried as I like things to be spotless and you usually don’t find that at any budget hotel. This place was almost spotless, the “ONLY” thing they could do better in my room would be to recaulk around the base of the tub and toilet. Otherwise it was spotless, comfortable beds and pillows everything seems new or very well kept. I would stay there again.

The manager at this Parsons Kansas location was very friendly and made sure to come out to say hello and check the breakfast options to make sure everything was well-stocked and fresh. The room was nice, comfortable, clean. Only down side was even the non-smoking areas had some lingering smoke smell, but they did their best to minimize it as best they could. Will stay here again when visiting family again in the future.

Appears to be a former Super 8 property. The owners and staff are very personable and you can tell a lot of work gone into the appearance of the property. The room itself was large though with a weird decor, not off putting, just different. There was some deep embedded grime on the floor and some of the paint work and finish was less than professional but overall better than average. Gripes: no conditioner or body wash offered, only 3 pillows provided and neither supportive or soft, bath towels like drying with sandpaper which was odd since the hand towels were soft. Room is also a strange layout, sink is right at the front entrance and the area is carpeted, would expect tile. AC also didn’t work very well. Room was damp and really never cooled down despite running all day and night. Breakfast is provided and completely ordinary. My least favorite part of my stay was the children slamming doors, screaming, and running up and down the hall, happened each morning well before I wanted to wake up. This hotel does cater to a lot of long term stays. For the price, it’s a hard value to beat.

Kenny was amazing! We came a bit later than planned but he was still all smiles! Very helpful and informative. His upbeat attitude just helped us end our long day and ride on a very pleasant note. Thank you so much Kenny! Room was super clean, even the bathroom was super clean! The bed was comfy and the temperature stayed just where we wanted it. Wonderful experience! And then came Jay. What a smiling and helpful person to run into first thing in the morning! Half asleep and looking for coffee and then after talking with Jay for a few minutes, I'm awake and excited to start my day. Thank you Jay! Just a wonderful experience all around thank you so much!

We have been on the road since September 23rd and the Express Inn is by far the best place we've stayed. Our Hosts were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. We recommend the Express Inn to all travelers.

This property is a rel bargain. Looks to be recently renovated, is clean and tidy. Lots of little touches and the staff both day and nigh were very friendsly and couteous. Cute little town as well. Be sure anc check out the Braum's ice cream shop a few hundred yards away.

I stayed in this hotel twice in one week, once on my drive West to Colorado and then again on my way back to Tennessee. I like this hotel a lot and wish all of the hotels I stayed in as I drive all over the country exploring during retirement, were like this. The hotel staff is wonderful and helpful. The hotel itself is very clean, looks like it was recently remodeled, and the room and bed is wonderful. It’s obvious the owner or manager takes great care of the property. And to top it off, their rates are very reasonable. When I stay here I feel like I get a high budget room for a relatively low budget price.

Super fast internet, big TV with a zillion channels. This hotel is an oasis in the middle of a remote but beautiful town that many people call their home - an admirable and hidden place in the middle of America. In a way, I hope it stays that way. Bed was comfortable, AC worked almost too well, and hospitality including housekeepers were fantastic. We left with good memories despite our business purpose, and we will always remember our experience here. The owners are wonderful and caring people, and their service level is exemplary. Big city 5+ hotel management could learn from their ways. Thank you for everything.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Express Inn in Parsons, KS, while my grandpa was in transition to a nursing home. The kindness and compassion shown by the staff and owner truly went above and beyond anything we expected. They were incredibly accommodating, allowing a late check-out so he could rest longer, and even brought him food from breakfast since he's on hospice care and not very mobile. What meant the most to us was how often they checked on him, always making sure he was comfortable and cared for. It's rare to find a place where people treat guests like family, but that’s exactly what we experienced here. We're so grateful for everything they did during such a difficult time. Highly recommend.

This was a very pleasant stay. I was greeted in a most welcoming way and taken care of quickly and effortlessly after a very long drive. By far the best hotel I've stayed at in awhile.

This was a very pleasant stay. I was greeted in a most welcoming way and taken care of quickly and effortlessly after a very long drive. By far the best hotel I've stayed at in awhile.

Horrible check in experience. The owner had me pay $10 extra for an infant. They questioned everyone who was staying in the room. Then the owner told me three times and had me sign twice no smoking or pets when I already told him I didn’t smoke nor did I have pets.

We were very disappointed to be charged extra for our kids at check-in. When booking the hotel I entered my 2 kids and their ages. The price I paid for the room should have included all of us as we were all in the reservation. When I checked in they made me pay even more for the kids. I definitely felt cheated. I would have chosen a different hotel for the price I end up paying. Jay was great at breakfast. We liked him and thought he did a great job.

This property is a rel bargain. Looks to be recently renovated, is clean and tidy. Lots of little touches and the staff both day and nigh were very friendsly and couteous. Cute little town as well. Be sure anc check out the Braum's ice cream shop a few hundred yards away.

Super fast internet, big TV with a zillion channels. This hotel is an oasis in the middle of a remote but beautiful town that many people call their home - an admirable and hidden place in the middle of America. In a way, I hope it stays that way. Bed was comfortable, AC worked almost too well, and hospitality including housekeepers were fantastic. We left with good memories despite our business purpose, and we will always remember our experience here. The owners are wonderful and caring people, and their service level is exemplary. Big city 5+ hotel management could learn from their ways. Thank you for everything.

I enjoyed my 2 night stay at Express Inn Parsons, KS. It's a pleasant hotel with very comfortable beds. The exterior was decorated with bright colors and beautiful plants. The parking lot was very clean & well lit. The owners were friendly and polite.

Express Inn is awesome! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the continental breakfast that was included. It was just as nice as more expensive hotels we have stayed in, but for a much more reasonable price. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay. We had 2 queen beds and plenty of room for our large luggage to be opened and left open. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. The desk folks were very friendly. We would stay there again.

The owner and employees here are AMAZING! We felt right at home for the week we were there. The breakfast that is included has plenty of options and is abundantly stocked. The rooms are nice and the water pressure is great, too. We definitely recommend this location to anyone traveling to or through Parsons, Kansas! We have family in town and will make this our home away from home. Thank-you for a wonderful stay!

For the first time ever in my life I slept on a hotel bed that was actually very comfortable. So comfortable that I woke up after 61/2 hours completely rested. I also found the staff to be friendly and I appreciated the phone call to confirm my reservation and to make sure I had the best accommodations for me personally. The breakfast was also quite adequate and much appreciated.

We are in ministry and travel often. I’m always afraid of getting a bad hotel and it has definitely happened. This place, though only a 2 star hotel was spotless. No weird smells or bugs or even dust. Very friendly and helpful! When I approached the manager and complimented him on how nice everything was, his reply was that it was also his home and he takes pride in it. STAY HERE! The reviews are true. Just be aware of when you book online, not to get a pet friendly room. The no pets allowed cost a few bucks more but a very good deal non the less.

Avoid this place at all costs. At check-in, the gentleman that helped me (pretty sure he was the owner) argued with me that I selected a room that allowed pets, even though we weren’t traveling with any. I didn’t even realize that when I had booked the room shortly before. We were driving though and VERY tired and just needed to rest. He tried “upgrading” me to a “non pet” room that was more expensive. I’ve never heard of that before. I do know that there is usually a pet fee, not a fee for a non- pet room. Then he asked me how many people I was traveling with and he asked me for my kids names, which I’ve never had to disclose before. I somehow selected 2 kids when I reserved the room, rather than 3 and he charged me an additional fee for my “extra” kid. All of these interactions were simply ridiculous. I travel ALOT and I’ve never been talked down to like this before. It was after midnight at this point and my family was exhausted. I asked him if I could just cancel my room at this point and he told me I couldn’t- I’d have to call hotels.com. Again, it was super late so that didn’t make sense. I told him that it was crazy that he was trying to charge me for an extra kid. I told him that the description of the room “sleeps 5”, which was also inaccurate. There were only 2 beds. He then told me he was going to refuse my reservation. I just looked at him in disbelief after he just got done telling me I couldn’t cancel- I’d have to take it up with hotel.com.
