The Retreat, Elcot Park

Made to feel like a nuisance, odd looks from staff, uninterested and generally unhappy. For the price I'd expect to atleast not be treated like a leper. Nice enough setting I guess.

Really lovely hotel. Staff were super helpful, spa was great and breakfast was delicious.

Nice hotel with some nice touches but little changes have been made since our last stay such as no complimentary biscuits in room. Also taken away the complimentary Kings Ginger liqueur. Rooms could be better furnished many don't have wardrobes.

The attention to detail surrounding guest experience stood out to me. The furnishings, food, spa and staff were all top notch. Would highly recommend. The only thing is that the timings for things can be restrictive if you want to get the most out of your stay.
