Overall it was a ok stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the breakfast and dinners we had were all delicious, we can't fault that at all. We were disappointed however to find there is no spa there any longer as it wasn't made clear anywhere before booking that that was the case. The pool was just a few degrees too cold that it wasn't a comfortable experience and the jacuzzi was just a corner of the pool which you stood up in with some jets. The changing room had no cubicles so people were struggling to change without revealing themselves. The radiator in our room had the thermostat hanging off and although we alerted reception noone fixed it during our stay. The toilet also really creaked if you sat on it which was a bit unnerving when it is only attached to the wall. So it was an average stay but we wouldn't book to stay there for a special occassion again.

I was very disappointed with my recent stay. The room was not properly cleaned — there were personal items left behind from previous guests, no bottled water provided, and the curtains were in poor condition. The carpet in the hallway was dirty and gave a poor first impression. I reported these issues to reception, and while the leftover items were removed, the curtains were not replaced and no offer was made to move me to another room. Overall, the standards of cleanliness and service were well below what I would expect, and I will be considering alternative accommodation in the future.

The room was not worth what we paid and the service at the restaurant was terrible But the spa services were great. The carpet in the room was dirty and the shower water we had to let it run for 5 minutes before we had any hot water which was a waste of water.

The room was fairly run down! The carpet was all stained, the window frame and curtains were covered in mold and mildew. The lamp and some of the plugs didn’t work. The room was too hot and the temperature was at its lowest. The breakfast was very disappointing, they had a good selection but over all the food was very bland and the scrambled didn’t taste like egg and had a weird texture. The fried eggs all had runny white.

A very nice hotel. Room was in very good condition. Rooms did not have air conditioning and it seemed like they had the heat on. I called down to ask and they said to just open your window and put a fan on. Did not really care for that response cause I was sweating while laying in bed.

Honestly this was a super disappointing experience, especially considering the expectations given the Radisson brand. The man at check-in was surly and looked like he didn’t want to be there. The rooms were supposed to be together. However we were allocated rooms over the spa but the lift was not working properly and so they had to move my mother to the other wing as she was using sticks and couldn’t make the stairs easily. This meant that we weren’t together. Neither room had aircon and, whilst both hot, ours was stifling. The problem was that the windows opened out to the motorway (just separated by a thin line of trees) so it was far too noisy to relax or sleep. Also there was standing water on the flat roof just outside the window so danger of bugs as well. The door to the room was very stiff and needed a full body shove to open. The state of the hotel overall was a little tired. The carpets were quite dirty both in the room and in the corridor. The in-room cleaning wasn’t particular thorough and the floor of the bathroom was not cleaned during our two night stay. The only saving grace was the staff in the restaurant/bar who where friendly, polite, helpful and went above and beyond, including making a special meal for my mother who has specific dietary requirements. Overall this was a real let down both for the price and the brand - and a marked difference from the Radisson Blu in Dublin which was superb.

No air conditioning and windows barely open. Hallway and rooms were like a sauna. Staff at reception at check-in was apathetic. He couldn't find our reservation and made us feel like we had done something wrong. No acknowledgement when he finally did. Not quite the "welcome" you'd expect.

If you're a heavy sleeper you'll be fine. I'm not and I had a room with an adjoining door and could hear every word that was said. A special mention (and a BIG thank you) to Carlos, on reception, who was able to find me another room without an adjoining door. I slept so well.

Excellent hotel and facilities especially as I had my 2 young boys with me for the night. Unfortunately they don’t have air conditioning and it was extremely hot in the room even with the fan going… I struggled to sleep and the boys were tossing and turning all night and woke early. If it isn’t a hot evening though the hotel is too rate!

We enjoyed our stay here; the room was very large and very comfortable, with little touches including coffee, tea and biscuits in the room. We also had dinner at the restaurant and the service was very good and the dinner was delicious. Would definitely recommend this to others travelling to the Cork area.

We arrived having booked 6 x twin rooms after our show at Cork Opera House. We were allocated 6 x Double Rooms for 12 males. Arrived at 11:30 finally got sorted at 1:20 wouldn’t allow us to use the bar had to sit in reception no hospitality not ideal. Wouldn’t book this group of hotels again not impressed

The hotel was very understaffed. We waited in line for 25-30 min to check in because there was only one representative at the front desk. She was great but alone. We had dinner in the restaurant but there were only two servers. The manager was great at helping but the restaurant was full. Our “upgraded” room had a broken lock, badly stained floors, something that looked like blood on the shower curtain and an overwhelming smell of chlorine from the pool.

This was a last minute booking.. was in a need for an early check in and the lovely gentleman on check in Carlos was able to accommodate with a smile.. could not of been more helpful, it was due to this gesture that i decided to stay in the hotel for lunch and dinner and drinks rather than heading into the city which was the orginal plan.. thank you carlos, food was delicious in the bar.. there was a lovely barman.. paudie who was so helpful to other american guests and gave them recommendations on what to in Cork.. super hotel and amazing staff...will be staying here on my next visit to cork..

This was a last minute booking.. was in a need for an early check in and the lovely gentleman on check in Carlos was able to accommodate with a smile.. could not of been more helpful, it was due to this gesture that i decided to stay in the hotel for lunch and dinner and drinks rather than heading into the city which was the orginal plan.. thank you carlos, food was delicious in the bar.. there was a lovely barman.. paudie who was so helpful to other american guests and gave them recommendations on what to in Cork.. super hotel and amazing staff...will be staying here on my next visit to cork..

I’m a regular at the Radisson, it’s clean, the beds are so comfortable and the staff are amazing especially Lorin the night manager/porter. A friendly face after a long days work always.

Not sure why we booked this hotel. Not a convenient location to downtown Cork (required a cab ride), and while it would be nice for conference or event, the rooms are just too hot to stay in comfortably.

Located outside Cork – this a delightful full-service hotel that provides an oasis of quiet. We stayed for a single night on our leisure trip to Ireland – and although it was on the outskirts of Cork, it helped us discover the delightful town of Cobh – a hidden gem in Ireland. Breakfast the next day was wonderful and set us up nicely for the Ring of Kerry. We look forward to coming back to Ireland and seeing more of the area with the Radission Blue being a signature stop.

Shower and sink were not draining water. Tv did not work, as well as usb charger. Pool was full of kids and looked dirty. Restaurant service was awful. The general location area is industrial. The only dining available were kfc and subway. I would not stay there again

I did not like lunch or dinner very little choice went for sole with chips in dripping nothing of the kind and the fish looked as if it had been frozen very disappointing as it’s not cheap

The room was fairly run down! The carpet was all stained, the window frame and curtains were covered in mold and mildew. The lamp and some of the plugs didn’t work. The room was too hot and the temperature was at its lowest. The breakfast was very disappointing, they had a good selection but over all the food was very bland and the scrambled didn’t taste like egg and had a weird texture. The fried eggs all had runny white.

I booked this hotel for my two children and I. We were given a disability room in very poor condition. Stained carpet, chair and dirty table. The shower was in bad condition with the tiling crumbling away. I immediately complained and was told they had no availability to move us. The next day I spoke with a manager, Amy. She apologised and said we could move later that day. I packed everything up and left our bags at reception. On our return we went to our new room, a business class one, apparently! While it was certainly better than our first room it wasn't great. More stained carpets and filthy chairs. I found a hardened pile of hair hardened on the bathroom floor. I tried to clean it with what I had. I couldn't get rid of it so I put the bin on top of it to hide it from my kids. I was surprised to see when the cleaner had been in they had moved the bin back and left the clump of hair! Between the rooms and the restaurant I don't think I sat on one clean chair in the place. We ordered room service one night. The staff member handed me the trays at the door, he then asked for the empty trays back. I asked what I should do with the plates after he got flustered with me, told me he's only been in the country four months and didn't know. Surely that is basic training staff receive? The only positives were comfortable beds and a well maintained breakfast buffet. For the money we spent i was expecting a much higher standard. We certainly wong55be staying here on our next trip.

We stayed for one night, family of four. We had plenty of space in our room. The beds were comfortable. The only concern was the room was very stuffy. They did provide with two fans. One worked well, and the other one didn’t work that well. The room itself was clean as in bathroom and bedding, but the carpet needed some cleaning. There was a convenient store with some restaurants in it. There were very convenient and walkable from the hotel. Overall, our stay was comfortable.
