Ausserordentlich schöne Zimmer in einem alten viktorianischen Haus. Die Zimmer sind sehr gross. Dioe Bettengrösse sehr gross, was für zwei Personen reichlich ist. Die Matratzen waren sehr gut. Der hochwertige Teppich hat beim Gehen jedes Geräusch verschluckt. Auch das Bad war gross. Alles in Perfektion vorhanden. Parkplätze eingezäunt direkt auf dem Grundstück vor dem Haus. Erstklassiges reichhaltiges und vielfältiges Frühstück. Sehr freundliches Personal. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

I had a very pleasant stay, the hosts were very friendly and inviting. Breakfast was excellent and the position is an easy walking distance to town. Parking was on the premises.

Excellent accomodation. A cooked breakfast, as an option, would have been nice, but the continental-style breakfast was as good as it gets. Lots of fresh fruit, coissants and yoghurts. We were in three cars, and all three were able to be parked off the street. There were other guests with cars, and they also were able to park off the street. Bedroom was large (as seen in the photo), and shower room was very good. We ate at Green's Resaurant in the town. It was expensive , but the food was superb.

I didnt see anyone from the hotel the whole time I was here. But i knew they were there as my registration card was waiting for me on arrival and my room had been made up. Only small hotel so what you would expect. I had a luxury sea view room with 4 poster bed and it was super comfy. had a very good nights sleep. The whole place was spotlessly clean. Very nice. I'd stay here again

We had a lovely stay at this guest house. Clean and cozy twin bed room with all the things needed for our short stay. Easy check-in and best of all was the breakfast with fresh fruit and good coffee and a very attentive host who made sure we weren’t missing anything. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

This Guest House is a converted property where the rooms have been carefully fitted out with care and attention to detail. My only complaint regarding the room is that the ensuite shower had no tray or shelf for soap etc. I would have given this establishment 5 stars but for the lack of a cooked breakfast.

Easy checkin, hostess left the key and registration form on the entry table so it was a self service deal. Met our hostess at the Continental breakfast in morning. Room was quiet, adequate with two wicker chairs & comfy bed. Minuses: no luggage racks or face washcloths yet it had one of those tiny, useless flip-top trash cans that are throughout the world. Whoever sold every hotel owner on this useless piece of junk must be quite a sales person!!! Thought to find places for dinner that were open on a Sunday and more present host could have remedied that. Tip: the Platform 1864 restaurant is open 7-days a week.

What a wonderful stay with The Guesthouse The staff was helpful, engaging, knowledgeable and friendly Rooms were well cared for, staff willing to provide extra towels, toiletries when needed and we had everything we needed and more for an 11 day stay Kim kept us laughing and was good at suggesting food, travel and sightseeing tips! We would 100% stay again if back in Tain A huge thanks to all who made our trip very memorable Dorothy and clan!

This property was ideal for our one night stay on our way up to the Orkneys. Jacki was discreet, but communicated well and the room was clean, well maintained and all the necessary amenities were provided. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Jackie. Had so much in common. Our room was beautiful. Wonderful ceiling details and a beautiful fireplace. We absolutely fell in love with the Tain area, and loved all of Jackie‘s recommendations, including Dunrobin Castle, and the cathedral in Dornoch.

Really nice house to stay in hostess couldn't be more helpful. Really comfortable bed. Super quality continental breakfast. Great location for walking in to town. Only complaint is we are both light sleepers and we're kept awake by a person next to our room who snored very loudly the whole night. Despite this would still stay again.

This Guest House is a converted property where the rooms have been carefully fitted out with care and attention to detail. My only complaint regarding the room is that the ensuite shower had no tray or shelf for soap etc. I would have given this establishment 5 stars but for the lack of a cooked breakfast.

Only stayed for one night but really enjoyed our stay. The room was excellent. The continental breakfast provided was lovely with plenty of choice. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

A beautiful place to stay, clean comfortable room. Shower was excellent. Continental breakfast was lovely, especially enjoyed the fresh fruit pots and fresh pastries. Would definitely stay here again.

We so enjoyed our stay at Springfield Guest House. The bed was the most comfortable we have slept in for so long in our travels. The breakfast was so good. Considering it was advertised as a continental breakfast, there was so many options and all very healthy and yummy.

We had a lovely stay at this guest house. Clean and cozy twin bed room with all the things needed for our short stay. Easy check-in and best of all was the breakfast with fresh fruit and good coffee and a very attentive host who made sure we weren’t missing anything. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

This property was ideal for our one night stay on our way up to the Orkneys. Jacki was discreet, but communicated well and the room was clean, well maintained and all the necessary amenities were provided. Breakfast was a well balanced & good selection, catering for varied needs. We would certainly come again to visit.

Excellent accomodation. A cooked breakfast, as an option, would have been nice, but the continental-style breakfast was as good as it gets. Lots of fresh fruit, coissants and yoghurts. We were in three cars, and all three were able to be parked off the street. There were other guests with cars, and they also were able to park off the street. Bedroom was large (as seen in the photo), and shower room was very good. We ate at Green's Resaurant in the town. It was expensive , but the food was superb.

A truly amazing place to stay, well appointed bedroom with the comfiest bed I think we’ve ever slept in. The whole place was spotlessly clean, lovely helpful staff nothing was too much trouble. A great location with fabulous views out to sea, no hesitation in recommending this place.
