The area in which the hotel was on was clean, but area around the property was questionable. Property also did not have a pool which was part of the advertising for this property. Also, breakfast was only 3 types of cereral....but there was coffee! Owners were very friendly though.

Refrigerator barely worked. Floor had debris all over it, didn't seem like it had been mopped in weeks. No laundry on site. It's a personal peeve of mine, but I do not like to see other peoples hairs in my shower, or stuck to the shower curtain, woven into the towels etc. This kind of room/hotel makes sense if your charging Rupees, but 60 American dollars a night is too much for what they offer.

Shower was peeling and ugly, would not use ! Parking lot dirty.

Satellite TV was out during our stay due to weather

I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. While not a luxury hotel, it offered me a spacious and clean room, a comfortable bed, and the biggest TV I've encountered while traveling the past week. And breakfast was included. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Mexican restaurant next door is good, too.

Bathroom was dirty and limited outlets.

The rooms are always clean , great staff and affordable rates . Its why i always pick the Satellite inn to book a room

Overall, the service was decent, but the environment was absolutely horrifying! It was incredibly filthy! The bathroom, in particular, was so disgusting that I almost threw up—it was filled with dirty stuff and seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned at all. The towels were just as bad, like old, worn-out rags that hadn’t been replaced in at least ten years. Words can’t even describe how awful it was. By far, the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had.

Run down property - in desperate need of renovations. Bathroom was in such poor shape, I didn’t feel comfortable using the shower. It was stained and dirty. The toilet leaked, there were stains on the ceiling.

This hotel was disgusting! When we walked in there was hair in the sink, the bathroom was filthy! I looked like the toilet has never been cleaned! And we didn’t have any hot water in the room!

Well, to tell you. Was Quite surprising to pull back the sheets on the bed and find a pair of men's underserve in the bed with us. Black Under ware ... Guess House Keeping needs to do a better job. On getting a room ready for a new client! Other than That .. it was a restful nights rest ... Could have used a few more towels in the bathroom.

Very nice and comfortable beds

Room was spacious with a king size bed and 65inch Tv. Privacy curtains was excellent.

AC was great, I left before breakfast was served. I had to clean out drain in wash basin it wasn't draining n was clogged with a plastic washer n hair

To be fair it was a cheap hotel so expectations were low. But it was worse than expected. They charge $20 extra per pet which must be paid in cash despite paying the rest of the bill by card. (Hhmmmm) the room smelled strongly of cleanser which took a few hours with the window open to clear out. However there were pieces of popcorn in 2 different areas in the room so clearly it hadn’t been swept/vacuumed. Also dust on the bathroom shelves and not sure the toilet had been cleaned. No blankets on the beds- only sheets and a bed cover. The beds were nicely firm with thick pillows. The hotel is on a busy road and railroad tracks next to the road so it was noisy. The listing for the hotel stated the rooms were soundproof. Absolutely NOT soundproof!!!!! Smoke alarm was hanging out of the wall and I don’t think it was actually even connected. Wi-Fi didn’t work. The blackout curtains worked really well so morning light didn’t cause early awakening

Clean, friendly staff, good safe location, what I expect and more from a budget roadside hotel stay. The TV is huge and the best I've seen even for 4 star stays.

Quick check-in was great, and 3 queen beds worked great for our family.

Rooms are dated and in need of upgrading. The mattress and the pillows were not very good at all, and the TV would only play one channel no matter what I tried with the remote. I guess that would be okay if you only want to watch old cartoons! I tried to call the front desk about it but there was nothing on the phone saying anything about how to call the front desk. I tried dialing zero but that didn't work. We finally just said to heck with it and went to sleep. I will not stay here again and definitely would not recommend the place to anyone I know!

The hotel is for a last minute stay at best. Rooms were outdated and ours smelled funny. Duct tape holding flooring together. Advertised breakfast was dismal; there was nothing really there. Lobby smelled like Indian cooking. 3/5

There is a train track that runs right by this motel and it beeps its horn at ALL hours of the night. I do think though this whole town probably has this same problem not just this motel.

Overall, room 121 was clean and comfortable. Good wifi. Good cable TV. Fridge and microwave in room. Motel is close to a busy road and a railroad, so expect some train and traffic noise. Good value for money.

One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because it served breakfast. When we arrived 2 things happened. First, they charged an extra 3 dollar amount for paying with card that we were not informed about. When asked the receptionist said that it is a private property and can charge 25 if they wanted to. I agree they can do that, but they should inform about it because once you arrive there if you don’t want to pay a hidden cost it’s already too late to cancel the room… Secondly, breakfast… when we got there the receptionist said they couldn’t serve it because they were doing some remodeling. We told them that it should be also informed because we would have probably chosen another place. She ended up saying that she could give us some donuts and coffee between 7:30-9:00. At least it was something! But in the morning… surprisingly there were non… she said that it was a healthy issue because they had just painted the room and the smell was very strong to keep the food there… apparently the night before it wasnt… So it’s not about having or not having breakfast, it’s about being honest and transparent with your customers, lying is not a good marketing tool. So I will not choose this place again.

We were accused of thinking about bringing our dog in the room

Reasonably comfortable bed. Had to seek out TP. Towels are smallish. Tub didn't drain. Breakfast was a choice of 3 sugary cereals, and prepackaged pastries. A bowl of assorted fruit. Coffee was good, and real milk. People at front desk are very friendly. I'd stay here again.

It was horrible. Beds made bad noise when u get on them. There was mouse poop, sheets and towels were dirty, smoke detector was coming out of the wall. Staff was very rude. Would not give anymore towels or toliet paper. Kept on watching my family.

The staff at the counter was unnecessarily rude and demonstrated attitude problems throughout. The room was comfortable and clean but you could hear loud train noises and honks coming from the train tracks which are in extremely close proximity to the hotel.

Arrived to a dirty room and heard gunshots as we left the parking lot after deciding not to stay despite being unable to get a refund.

It was clean and comfortable, and we had a nice stay for 2 nights. It is walkable to museums and downtown.

Very good place for the price.The hotel is a little dated but clean, staff was friendly and efficient.It is in a nice location with a great Mexican restaurant next door and ice cream shop across the road. I would definitely stay there again.

You get what you pay for! We got into Alamogordo late and this was the most reasonably priced room with a low pet fee. We didn't love it just because it was poorly maintained, but it was a place to spend the night and pretty clean. The room smelled nice! It was disconcerting that the only place to let the dog potty was the back of the building. I did appreciate that the young man at the front desk showed us the room before we chose to stay, and that there were some small breakfast options in the lobby.
