Booked a comfort double, got a 2 bed apartment in the basement, so review is based on that. Good: well appointed with solid build and craftsmanship with furniture and decor in as-new condition. Comfy bed, great bathroom and shower, spacious lounge diner. Bad: bedrooms themselves are tiny so cases had to be opened and unpacked in the living area. No elevator but stairs are steep, narrow and winding. Basement room looked out on a wall and was noisy with traffic and tram

Property overall is decent. The property is very spacious inside and well equipped. Everything is automated but no parking and tough to find some if you drive and also no elevators which made it tough for us being on 3rd floor with 2 kids.

We had a great stay at Distillers House, the apartment was clean and well equipped- with a super location close to the tram to the airport and with lots of cafes and bares in the neighborhood. Easy to get access with a code and a very convenient luggage storage room.

Excellent high end appartment with everything we needed. Easy walk down the street to everything we needed. Quiet nights sleep considering how close it was to the main street. Very secure and safe. Only complaint was that we were not aware how difficult it was to find parking. Ended up a half mile from the appartment but we made the best of it.

We enjoyed our stay. Clean, spacious apartment, separate bedrooms with darkening blinds. Great location so close to the transportation, airport express bus, train station, grocery, restaurants. Walking distance to all the major points of interest. Keyless entry is very convenient. Full kitchen with a dining area. Left a few suggestions to the management on some cosmetic improvements but overall - no issues. Highly recommending!

Great place to stay in terms of access to the city. It’s near a transportation hub so access to getting places is easy. Great restaurants nearby and an easy walk to the castle, royal mile, etc…. The place was modern in stylings. The flat was on the 3rd floor (there is no lift) which wasn’t really an issue for us and we liked the space and view.

Very straightforward and easy weekend stay at this lovely apart-hotel. Spacious and stylish and perfectly clean. Location was good and reasonably central though the road outside was noisy well into the night. Good comms with the management throughout and no problems with access etc. Parking a few mins walk away with Just Park.

This property is very spacious and conveniently located. We reserved his twice as part of our trip inbound and outbound purposely for the washer/dryer. Instructions even on the app are not clear to travelers that do not utilize all in one machines. Overall the property is clean with lots of amenities.

The staff at Destiny Scotland Distillers House were phenomenal. They were so attentive and responded to email inquiries quickly! Our room happened to be ready for check-in even though we arrived at 12:30 p.m., which was lovely. Our room was on the first floor in the back of the property so we were away from any street noise. We stayed 5 nights and it was very, very comfortable and quiet!

Excellent high end appartment with everything we needed. Easy walk down the street to everything we needed. Quiet nights sleep considering how close it was to the main street. Very secure and safe. Only complaint was that we were not aware how difficult it was to find parking. Ended up a half mile from the appartment but we made the best of it.

We had a wee bit of an issue as the code to the room didn’t work so took us a while to get in but we were helped immediately by the team and it was sorted as quickly as possible. Appreciated the speedy assistance. Accommodation was huge, clean, comfortable and quiet.

The staff at Destiny Scotland Distillers House were phenomenal. They were so attentive and responded to email inquiries quickly! Our room happened to be ready for check-in even though we arrived at 12:30 p.m., which was lovely. Our room was on the first floor in the back of the property so we were away from any street noise. We stayed 5 nights and it was very, very comfortable and quiet!

The apartment we stayed in was great. We especially loved being able to make breakfast every morning. It was clean, well-maintained, and communication for the most part was good. We did call the "emergency" after-hours number a couple of times but no one answered. Emails were answered quickly, though, even on the weekend. As others have said, the location is quite loud. On our final night, there were crews working on the street right below our windows at two in the morning. Earplugs allowed us to go back to sleep. Note: there is no lift, which means trekking up three flights of stairs if you're on the second floor. Great place to stay in terms of access to the city. It’s near a transportation hub so access to getting places is easy. Great restaurants nearby and an easy walk to the castle, royal mile, etc…. The place was modern in stylings. The flat was on the 3rd floor (there is no lift) which wasn’t really an issue for us and we liked the space and view.

What a wonderful stay! Right by the tram and bus station! Right outside the royal mile. Far enough from all the tourist hustling and bustling, but close enough to walk to most of the attractions. About 15 minute walk to the castle and the royal mile. We will be coming back! The apartment is very clean, very well stoked with washer, dishwasher, fridge, pots and pans, silverware and dinnerware. Beautiful and quiet. We got a one bedroom apartment and had more than enough space for the two of us. I’d say, this size apartment would be very well suited for a family. There are several great places where locals go to eat and drink. Loved the Jolly Botanist bar and restaurant. Highly recommend!

It was a lovely stay. We really appreciated how easy it was to check in and having the “personal” code to get onto the building and into our apartment. It was located right where we needed to be so that we could walk everything we wanted to do because we didn’t want to get a rental car. The only thing I would recommend is either a noise maker or ear plugs (or both) because you are right in the city and there is a lot of noisy traffic.

We were only staying overnight as at a concert at the castle. We checked in at 3pm and left, returning at midnight. So didn't manage to experience all aspects of the apartment. Check in great. Apartment 12, very spacious and perfunctory. No frills really for the price.Difficulty getting TV channels. No microwave; no instructions how to use the Nespresso machine so didn't bother. Only one type of t-bags and basic nescafe coffee sachets. 4 small white sugar sachets and 4 uht milk pots, not forgetting 2 tiny Biscoff biscuits. For the price and rating, would expect a pint of fresh milk and a good selection of hot drinks products. Products in the bathroom are excellent. The king size bed was a let down - not comfortable at all - neither of us slept well. Had a good electric fan which was a necessity as it was warm. The apartment was spotless and comfortable. Didn't hear any noise from neighbours at all. I think that to realise its full potential you'd have to stay longer. Well placed for accessing Haymarket Train Station, Trams and buses. All in all a brief but relaxing stay.
