OK - this place is not the Ritz, but nor does it claim to be. Straightforward affordable accommodation which is ideal for the convention centre over the road. There’s no communal space, food service etc. but for a clean, comfortable, no nonsense overnight you can’t really go wrong.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It’s very handy for the Conference Centre and centre of Harrogate with all its restaurants etc. The lady that checked us in was lovely and helpful. It was very handy to have a car parking space. Unfortunately, those are all the nice things I have to say. Our room was up many awkward flights of stairs and wasn’t worth the climb. It was tiny, the bed was small and uncomfortable leading to a poor night’s sleep which may account for the tone of my review. The bathroom tap fired water through the door and all over the bedroom carpet and the clothes of anyone standing in the way. The shower had to be repaired before we could use it. Everything was a little tired.
