Staff at check in was rather rude. Parking garage was difficult. Limited to no amenities available. Great location relevant to historical sites and city center.

Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, Rezeption nur von 23-07 Uhr besetzt, evtl Bedarf durch ein Schwesterhotel abgedeckt. Frühstücksbuffet im Va Piano im gleichen Haus, sehr gut reichlich, allerdings € 22,00. Garage im Haus € 29,00 , sehr praktisch aber unverhältnismäßig teuer. Ansonsten gutes Stadthotel mitten drin !

The hotel check-in staff were very friendly, the breakfast was excellent, the location relative to the old city in Dresden is ideal, and because we need to parking, the option to park right downstairs and leave the car there until we left Dresden mid afternoon was exceptional.

Zentral gelegen. Schönes Ambiente. Frühstück im Vapiona sehr gut. Parken in der Semperoper Tiefgarage für 6 Euro und echte 24 Stunden.

Absolutely wonderful location close to virtually everything in Dresden. Spacious room with exceptionally high ceilings. In room amenities were somewhat limited. Route to the parking garage is obscure, to say the least but staff was friendly and the dining and sightseeing opportunities in walking distance are unbeatable.

We booked this place specifically because it was downtown, had parking, laundry, large rooms, and hardwood floors. Parking was full. Usually if this is likely to happen, the listing will say "limited parking", but it did not. There was no public laundry room. You could give your stuff to housekeeping but they wanted to charge per item, between 4-11€, which is an extremely high price for a full bag of laundry. We booked the comfort room plus, but they gave us the twin room, and said it would still be the same price. Supposedly they are allowed to give you a room with a heigher ceiling and charge for a larger room. They said only the corner rooms look like the photos. The hardwood floors were very nice and it didn't have the usual hotel stink, but the pillows had a light scalp smell and there were a few small hair clippings under the blanket.

Great location in the old town. Good eating options nearby. Slighty awkward to find driving in but got there eventually. Very friendly staff. Room was comfortable. Only negative was the air con didn’t seem functional and on a 28 degree day the room was quite stuffy. However I would stay again for the location.

Dresden ist einfach wunderschön und die Lage des Hotels top! Man erwartet vielleicht aufgrund der Fotos mehr Gemütlichkeit in der Lobby etc. Parken ist überteuert, das Auto besser um 8,- pro Tag in der zu fuß in ca 8 Minuten erreichbaren Semperoper parken.

This hotel is very clean and conveniently located close to all tourist attractions, therefore everything is walkable. The facilities are clean and functional, though no complementary tea or coffee included. Nearby area has multiple stores and restaurants. Overall, I am satisfied mostly because of good location.

Leider war im am Tag unserer Ankunft ziemlich enttäuscht über die Unterkunft. Was mir nicht gefallen hat ist die Tatsache, dass die Zimmer nur alle 2 Tage gereinigt werden, und dass Handtücher alle 4(!) Tage gewechselt werden. Aus Nachhaltigkeitsgründen....... Das hätte ich gerne VOR Buchung gewusst, dann hätte ich mich ggf. für eine andere Unterkunft entschieden. Wenn denn nur alle 2 Tage gereinigt wird, dann sollte diese Reinigung doch zumindest gründlich sein. Leider waren bei Ankunft in der Toilette und am Toilettendeckel noch braune Spuren des Vorgängers zu finden. Im Schrank befanden sich noch leere Flaschen des Vorgängers. Wir beschwerten uns daraufhin an der Rezeption. Der nette Herr an der Rezeption reagierte professionell, entschuldigte sich, bot an, das Hauskeeping nochmal vorbeizuschicken oder das Zimmer zu wechseln. Wir entschieden uns, das Zimmer zu behalten, die 'braunen Spuren' hatte ich mittlerweile selbst beseitigt, als kleine Entschädigung erhielten wir einen Gutschein für je ein Begrüßungsgetränk an der Bar. Das Housekeeping besuchte dann direkt am nächsten Tag nochmal unser Zimmer, was ich positiv fand. Die leeren Flaschen verblieben allerdings für den Rest des Aufenthaltes in unserem Schrank..... Das Frühstück im angrenzenden Vapiano fanden wir lecker und ausreichend. Die Auswahl war vollkommen ausreichend und zufriedenstellend. Die Lage des Hotels an der Frauenkirche ist absolut unschlagbar.

Handtücher alle 4(!) Tage ist eine absolute Zumutung. Zimmerreinigung nur alle zwei Tage ist inakzeptabel. Immerhin ist es direkt an der Frauenkirche. Eher Absteige als Hotel zum längeren Verweilen.

Beautiful, very clean and comfortable and in a great location in the middle of the old town. Close to everything and lots of great restaurants, etc. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Very reasonably priced.

Einfache Unterkunft ohne schnick schnack. Frühstück ist ausreichend. Sauberkeit ist befriedigend. Lage ist Top.

Das Frühstück wird mit 22 Euro abkassiert und findet im Vapiano gegenüber statt. Nicht-Hotelgäste bezahlen für das GLEICHE Frühstück bei Vapiano 18Euro. Warum !? Das Personal bei Vapiano hat auch keine Erklärung dafür. Kein Wasser auf dem Zimmer, Kaffe auf dem Zimmer gegen Gebühren. Kein Wasserkocher. Zimmerservice nur alle 2 Tage , auch kein Wechsel der Handtücher. Lage des Hotels sehr gut. 👍 Sauberkeit ok .. Hier und da in den Ecken staubig. Buchen würde ich wahrscheinlich nicht nochmal.

The hotel is ideally situated within a few minutes walk from all major toutist attractions and from a great mall. There are plenty restaurants and cafe in the visinity, but they open at 9 am only, so for "early birds" there is some problem. One may eat breakfast in the hotel, but it costs 22 euro and the meal one obtains certainly isn't worth it. There was a coffee mashine in the room, but for coffee you have to pay. Mattresses and pillows were OK. A room service was every other day.

Montag immer noch kein Fernsehen möglich, daher Wechsel in ein kleineres (preisgünstigeres) Zimmer. Da Zimmerpreis im Vorfeld entrichtet, keine Rückerstattung möglich, dafür kostenfreie Getränke an der Bar. Ich bin nicht zum Fernsehen im Hotel, aber Nachrichten und Infos sind schon interessant ... Die Klimaanlage des Zimmers machte allerdings lt. Techniker unvermeidbare Geräusche (Pumpe). Die Lage ist allerdings sehr zentral und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind super per Fuß erreichbar! Das hellt das Gesamtbild etwas auf.

Hat uns sehr gut gefallen, wir kommen wieder. Ein kleiner Tipp, Kühlschrank (Minibar) war nicht auf dem Zimmer, das gehört meiner Meinung nach unbedingt dazu,

It had bay window sitting area with 2 chairs and a coffee table which was very nice. Spacious room. Shower was a little cramped.

We wanted so much to like this property, but here are the pros and cons: Pros- very convenient to all historic Dresden has to offer. Helpful staff when they were there. Cons- staff not there at check in : no one . Had to call via Expedia to get someone to check us in . Room we booked was not available due to cleaning issues. We were offered another bigger room , but it had issues as well. AC limited per conservation policies? No water offered for the room, along with limited toiletries. Room cleaning every other day - but door hanger if you wanted it everyday that we missed. Overall staffing issues upon our arrival. Manager even admitted it was a rough beginning. With just a few tweaks this could be a great place to stay in Dresden. Do consider better pillows to start with.

I like how you can walk basically anywhere you want or need to go. I love how quiet it is in the area, and how welcoming my room was. There are also a lot of restaurants nearby. The service was great as well, very kind and helpful. A great experience overall, and I highly recommend.

Room was fabulous. The staff did their best to accomodate any questions we had. Everything was perfect. Locarion was ideal. Would highly recommend.

Das beste am Hotel ist die Lage - eine Menge Sehenswürdigkeiten, Verkehrsmittel und Lokale lässt sich mit wenigen Schritten erreichen. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Hotel ordentlich und gemütlich.

The location was ideal. Walkable to a bunch of attractions, restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind alle innerhalb weniger Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Hotel ist modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Ein Tiefgaragenparkplatz kann man für 29 Euro buchen. Beim nächsten Besuch würden wir es wieder nehmen.

The ideal location if you’re planning to see all the museums around the Frauenkirche and the Semper Opera. Nothing is farther than a 15-minute walk. Easy stroll across the Elbe River to take in the view of the city at night. Plenty of good restaurants at various price points nearby. Very quiet hotel.

Super location for Dresden, and great value for money. On the Neumarkt, so directly opposite the Frauenkirche and literally round the corner from the museums, opera house and schloss.

It’s a very nice hotel on the plaza by the Frauenkirche; I didn’t realize that when I booked it. It’s clean and modern. Definitely recommend it.

Was a fabulous location and within walking distance to many tourists attractions. It was also near the Christmas market which was incredible. Hotel room was very comfortable and clean. Great breakfast too!

Das Hotel liegt super zentral und es ist alles super. Eine Stern Abzug gebe ich nur wegen dem Frühstück - nicht besonderes aber trotzdem 29 € - das finde ich zu teuer.

Problematisch ist das Frühstück, das bei Vipiano angeboten wird. Das ist qualitativ schlecht!

This is a great hotel in the heart of the Altstadt. Close to everything and a 25 minute walk from the train station. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and the staff was great. I don't get to Dresden often, but I will stay here again.

I had not the breakfast included on the price so I paid extra 22 euro a day for enjoy it. The breakfast is far too be ok for that price. It is a breakfast for a 3 stars hotel, not 4 stars. Very limited. Don’t take the room with breakfast. It’s better instead to go in a coffe shop to enjoy got.
