The room was amazing, so big (also it was a suite, with livingroom, equipped kitchen, dining room, bathroom, dressing room), the bed was very comfortable. I dont like that it was very dark outside, lack of lighting. Breakfast is chaos, many things are missing; so you have to be patient.

DO NOT RECOMMEND - Pool closed, TV inoperable, dusty drapes, no ice machine, breakfast area super hot due to no sun screens on oversized windows (Texas heat 90 degrees at breakfast time), breakfast was cold, and we got accused of taking two pillows (which is not true) - maintenence crew had total disregard for clients - NOT ONE REFERENCE TO COMPENSATION FOR ANY OF THE INCONVENIENCES

We have stayed at this hotel for 3 years in a row without in problems. This year we stayed for 7 days, not one time did a housekeeper come to our room to clean it or give us new towels for showers. When we went to the front desk to get some towels, we were told you can only get them from housekeeping. We left about 8am and would arrive back around 8pm and not one time did we ever even see a housekeeper to ask. When we explained that to the front desk, he said there was nothing he could do to get us any. We ended up having to buy towels at a local Walmart. This is very sad being we paid good money to stay at this hotel. Don't think we will be staying her next year.

It's always a good decent place to stay, my last visit was nicer than this one. This visit they put me in a room that had nasty looking stains on the nightstands, no access to plugs on both sides of the bed, and pretty noisy because of the freeway. Also no shampoo and conditioner or soap had to go get some, so that was a bummer but for the price, it's whatever.

The room I got was not what was advertised. I reserved the room because it had a living room with a sofa, a kitchen, a small dining area, and a separate bedroom Instead I got a room with a bed only. I could never get the TV to work and when I attempted to contact the front desk the phone was not working. I have stayed here before and had always gotten what I booked for. Not going back to this place.

Do yourself a favor and upgrade to the suite. It’s like an entire apartment with full kitchen. Don’t get a regular room. They are small Like very small. The suites arnt that much more and are huge! Even has a huge walk in closet and separate bedroom

Room was clean but dated, bed killed my shoulders, they need to rephrase breakfast to continental breakfast and that’s pushing it! Staff were very nice as always and the pool was great just wish the real breakfast would return. My fifth stay at this property!

When I arrived, the staff was not approachable, they handled the paperwork and only gave me the key without any other directions. The room I got wasn't the one I had booked (booked for two beds, and they gave me one) when I went to the front desk they said something about an issue, and was either that room or to cancel the room.

I got to the hotel a little early and asked if I can get a room. I was told NO with a Terrible Attitude, as if I asked something absurd and insane. I immediately left and did not stay there. Be warned the front desk attitude is HORRIBLE. I have run various businesses over 40 years and would immediately fire all involved. Rudest front desk I have ever experienced while traveling for business. Be warned.

Staff and equipment are unreliable. The manager fixed my issue but made it clear that it was a favor and my fault. I called and told them that I was stuck at the airport and wouldn’t be able to check in until early morning. That I needed my room to change/shower for a wedding. They understood and said it was ok. Well until I got there. Then I didn’t have a room. It just happened that the manager was there and fixed it. I had prepaid for my rooms. I had called. But yes, it’s my fault, great help under a stressful situation where I’m exhausted and have a wedding ceremony in a couple hours. The hotel is old but ok for the valley. At least it was safe and clean.

Lousy service. There wasn't anyone around when we arrived, had to look everywhere for someone to give us our room. They didn't clean our room, because we were there when they came. Good room, bad service.

The hotel was awesome more than we were expecting to be honest. Amir provided exceptional customer service and made our check in reservation easy (even though the system was down for a few hours) My family and I came down from Houston for a family matter and we will definitely be back.

Easy access off frontage Rd of expressway, friendliness of staff, clean well maintained grounds, older furniture but very clean room, great cooling, quite area well lit . I didn't like the door seems at one point it had been kicked in and the fit around door made me feel unsafe with gap where the door handle and deadbolt was it didn't seem safe and strong. I feel the door frame needs to be a snug fit with no gaps strong safe door with deadbolt will make ppl feel safer and promote future bookings. Overall it was good.

The location is great and it is close to everything. The room was clean and organized, though a little dated but the price was great! Just stayed 1 night but surroundings were quiet and well kept. Our door handle cover of the main door was loose so I would recommend you check that but overall it was a pleasant stay

We only planned to stay for 3 days and added 2 more, the vibe was wonderful, I felt very safe and comfortable, loved the location, staff was very helpful, we will stay there again

Our experience was good. Having been in the hotel business for a number of years, I am aware of what makes a successful property. The Victoria Palms has been around at least 40 years and has been kept up reasonably well. There were the usual flaws. some paint chipping. noisy ac, nothing major. The grounds are beautiful and meticulasly cared for. The staff is excellent. Very good customer service, from the front desk staff to the gentleman preparing the complimentary breakfast, which was hot and very good. We will be staying there as it is quite the bargain for the price.

Del desayuno un asco, solo cafe y poque lo fui a pedir... no habia. Bueno no habia nada. Cuando reserve me ofreciero DESAYUNO BUFETE... pero la realidad es que solo te dan pan y cafe, PERO lo tienes que pedir en la recepción y aun asi se molestan. Mal

Clean rooms, very close to the pool. AC was great and cold. Very delicious breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly. Pool needed a good cleaning but was nice and refreshing. Overall, very worth a stay for luxury and relaxation.

Reminded me of the old motels we stayed in as kids when traveling on vacations. It was my misperception when I booked this. On the Expedia website it said free “Buffet Breakfast”. Not even close.

Room was clean but dated, bed killed my shoulders, they need to rephrase breakfast to continental breakfast and that’s pushing it! Staff were very nice as always and the pool was great just wish the real breakfast would return. My fifth stay at this property!

Room was nice. Dated but still nice. Pickings were "SLIM" when it came to breakfast. Never saw any butter or jellys, even though there was bread to toast & a waffle iron. Guess they wanted you to visit the restaurant instead.

The bed really bad and uncomfortable, The breakfast was bad, the coffee ended and the carton glasses, the manager in that time was in a call and he delayed in to bring more coffee and carton glasses, the pool area was opened until 11 am, but the schedule was since 9 am.

Absolutely nothing like the photos on Hotels.com, it is not a hotel. It is a motel you can hear everything through the walls. The curtains are not blackout so with the lights outside, you can see every individual walk by your room from the street lights outside all night long. When we had the lights on in the room after dark, I went out to the car and could see my girlfriend who had just gotten out of the shower, clearly through their closed curtains that are damn near transparent upon arriving in the room. There was someone else’s bodily hair on the bed. The bed stands in the bathroom sink and in the shower, there was also two unknown large black bugs that slightly resembled roaches, but looked a little different from a Roach. There were crumbs all over the floor and again the room was nothing like what the photos on Hotels.com showed on top of that again. It is a hotel advertisement when you get there it is actually a motel.

La cama muy buena para descansar....y ya; un tv muy pequeña y sin señal solo canales de rokutv mal; microondas ya en mal estado; los pisos limpios pero todo stiky...no tendieron la cama pero si cambiaron las toallas; como porque? La ubicacion buena. El baño con sarro en llaves.
