Other than having the elevator to malfunction everything was awesome. Friendly staff and a great breakfast

Excellent overall. Note that valet parking is expensive at $48 per night, but you can park across the street in a garage for $10.

Staff was confused at check in. Window vibrates loudly at night with wind. Sink was clogged. The remotes operates both TVs at once. Only 1 elevator.

Hotel was quite nice. Double queen was adequately sized and quiet. The continental breakfast was surprisingly good. Staff were kind and accommodating. The valet parking scene was a mess, though— a terrible set up for traffic flow.

We were not aware of a $45 parking fee. We would have appreciated that info up front. Otherwise it was an excellent hotel.

Overall great place to stay downtown! All the breakfast staff and parking staff was amazing! Some of the desk workers were not very friendly but a couple was wonderful too. Everything was clean and nice. The only issue we had was none of the trash cans had bags, so we had to use our own because we didnt want to put food and sticky stuff straight into the can. The pool was great too.

We went for my son’s wrestling tournament. The hotel was walking distance to downtown & River Street. The hotel was very clean. Only complaint would be $49 to valet was only option for parking or find parking on your own. Hotel staff was no help with that.

Hotel is nice and walkable to everything downtown. It does have listed that there is parking, however after booking we found that it was only valet and was an additional $48.

Overall happy, rooms not ready at 4:00 pm checkin time. Each day many people were waiting for their rooms to be ready. Room cleaning didn't occur during our 3 days. Had to ask for clean towels and trash removal. Perhaps their understaffed. Free breakfast was fairly good.

Hotel was close to everything and usually a favorite of mine. This time i received no housekeeping after 3 requests and the forced valet parking situation was unbearable. Waited a full 30 mins after i was told ir was ready only to watch all othee guests be served after me

Staff were friendly and excellent. Only issue I had was while the bathroom trash was emptied daily the one in the bedroom area was overflowing. Only emptied the first night we stayed.

Had to wait 5 hours to check in. Room was never cleaned until I found a housekeeper on the day of our last night, while she was cleaning another room and asked her to clean our room.

The room smelled horrible. There was only 1 staff member in charge of the morning buffet so you can imagine the long wait for coffee and she could not keep up with restocking the food. Yes they offered a continental breakfast but it was always empty.

Hotel was very clean and in a great location near the downtown area. The staff was very friendly and the accommodations were excellent! Would definitely stay here again when I come back to Savannah.

The room was a typical hotel room but it was a little dirty and the most concerning was while our infant was crawling around she found a sharp metal staple-type object on the floor which could have been so dangerous. It gave us quite a scare.

It was really hot and the air conditioner didn't work half the time in our room. Let them know and they sent someone but didn't resolve the issue.

The property and the staff were great but we had to change rooms because our TV was broken. Then in the next room, the tv wasn’t working again after a couple days. We thought we would have to move again but someone was able to come and fix it after about an hour. Overall, it’s a great location, close to city market and lots of restaurants.

Our room was very quiet which is a wonderful thing to have in Savannah.

We checked into our room. Our TV did not work. They changed our rooms to two queen beds when we requested a king bed and we had issue with the bedding.

Overall, I have an okay review. This Fairfield Inn & Suites has an excellent location, let me say that. The staff were friendly and accommodating, we really appreciated them. The reason for the okay review was that in the 4 days we spent there, Room 402 had an air conditioning system that was either Arctic or sweltering. No in between. Getting up in the middle of the night sweating when we were paying for a functional A/C, not good. Plus, ran out of toilet paper on day 4, it had never been replenished. If we were to go to Savannah again, we'd stay at another hotel on the same street.

Thr air conditioner in the room was inefficient. Same temperature whethet we set it at 65 or 75.

Centrally located, a small walk to River street but close to the City Market and trolley station. Staff was very friendly, efficient and helpful. Very pleasant stay in Savannah.

The staff was very attentive, helpful, and friendly. I arrived early and they were quick to help me store my luggage and valet my car so I could walk around and explore Savannah until my room was ready! Also a great location and walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants!

Check-in was at four. We got there at a quarter after four and was told our room was not ready. When I asked how long it would be she said she had no idea. Refused to even give me a roundabout time. We were just about to leave an hour later when they told us the room was ready. Never apologized in anyway for the trouble

We arrived at 3:40 for a 4:00 check-in and was told we could not check in early and would not be able to check in at 4:00 and didn’t know when the room would be ready. We made the reservation more than 1 month prior and after an 8 hr drive we were not happy. The staff didn’t seem too sympathetic and we had no other choice other than to seek other accommodations which we ended up outside of Savannah proper. I told the staff we were cancelling and hopefully we will not be charged for the room we never got.

Check in was horrible with only one valet working. Front desk employees were rude. One told my daughter to “tell your co worker to mind her own business “. Very unprofessional Never got a text to be able to retrieve my car.

The hotel was generally good. The location was convenient, and the room was clean and tidy. However, the front desk service was very poor, especially from a female staff member when I checked in. I even felt racially discriminated against. I arrived at the hotel on March 9th at 4:20 PM and lined up to check in. I greeted this woman, but she had a serious expression and didn't respond. She asked for my information in a mechanical way, and I gave her my last name. She then told me my room wasn't ready yet and would take at least another hour, so I left and came back an hour later. When I met her again, she was still very cold. She processed my check-in, and after I swiped my credit card, she handed me the room key and immediately answered a phone call, ignoring me as if she had finished helping me. I felt very offended and disrespected. Throughout the process, she didn't tell me where my room was located, which floor facilities like the gym or meeting rooms were on, or even mention that breakfast was included with my room. She didn't provide any information about breakfast time or location. When I went back to ask about breakfast, I saw her smiling and providing detailed information about the hotel to a white woman. At that moment, I felt I was being racially discriminated against.

Wonderful overnight stay, near all the top spots in Downtown Savannah- shopping, River Street, Savannah Civic Center, and tons of restaurants. The best part is you can walk to all of the above. Recommend purchasing parking in advance.

Great location, paid parking across the street for $12 a day in 2024. Close enough to walk where you want to go. I liked the concierge at the hotel, I did not expect that at all and it really made things easier.

The location was perfect. We walked to the riverfront and felt safe. Walgreen, shopping and places to eatwere near. Also, the Civil Rights Museum was in walking distance, Popeyes,Wendy's and etc...

Hotel is walking distance to many of the sites and sounds of Savannah: the Riverwalk, the Historic district, the Catholic Cathedral. Valet parking is expensive, but worked for the three days we were there (we only needed the car when we drove to Fort Pulaski for a tour as well some of the other islands south of Savannah. Everything else was enjoyable steps.)

I had a good time with my stay at this location. It’s very convenient and close to everything downtown historic District only a few boxes away from base Street a lot of nice restaurants nearby and everything is walking distance didn’t have to walk longer than 15 minutes to get to everywhere I wanted I would recommend and I would stay here again

Extreme parking fee and water smell is too bad. Breakfast is substandard

All the personal that i had the pleasure of dealing with was very pleasant and accommodating, the things that i didnt care for was the lack of a table and chairs in the room. There were 2 of us in the room only 1 chair and a stationary desk. No ports for phone cords. Only electrical outlets, only one small waste basket per room. But the biggest issue i had was no vent fan in the bathroom. The floors are ceramic tile and they get very slick when you get out of the shower. I did use the bath mat, but walking out was a little slip and slide. If you want a hot breakfast plan on eating outside of the hotel. Everything was cold and so was the coffee. Other than that i was pleased.

The professionalism of the staff was impeccable! Valet drivers were friendly, courteous and prompt. The complimentary breakfast was awesome! Each morning held a pristine nook of fresh fruit, clean area, very well stocked with varieties to choose from. And the grits are to die for!! Fabulous kitchen staff!! I have already recommended this place to friends and it will be my go to spot from now on! The location is perfect! Walking distance to River street, downtown shopping, sightseeing, restaurants…everything at the tip of your finger! Nice and very clean rooms! Comfy bed! Spotless bathroom! I enjoyed my stay!

We have been road tripping for nearly a week through quite a few states and have found this place to be the best! The staff are the highlight - Chantel and her sister Nena were amazing so welcoming and friendly! The breakfast was amazing so many options! Highly reccomend it! Thank you again!
