Troulis Apart-Hotel

Beautiful views, small pool, close to the beach, property uphill, breakfast was not tasty, and not basic

Avis hôtel Troulis Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à l’hôtel Troulis. Le personnel à l’accueil est vraiment très agréable, disponible et accueillant. L’hôtel est très bien situé : le port de Bali, avec ses restaurants et tavernes, est facilement accessible à pied, tout comme la plage. C’est donc très pratique pour profiter de Bali sans avoir besoin de reprendre la voiture. Seul petit bémol concernant le couchage : le deuxième lit en 90 cm est un lit pliant et non un véritable lit. Cela peut tout à fait convenir pour un jeune enfant, comme dans notre cas, mais c’est à prendre en compte si vous êtes deux adultes à devoir l’utiliser. Globalement, une très expérience et un hôtel que nous recommandons de passage sur une nuit pour son emplacement et la gentillesse de son personnel.

Sehr einfaches Haus , Privatspähre auf Aussenbereichen nicht gegeben , da die Zimmer sehr eng und ohne Abtreung verbunden sind, Pool im Innenhof sehr klein , maximal 8 Liegen , Zimmerservice okay, Handtuchwechsel alle 3 Tage, Sonntag kein Zimmerservice , Frühstücksbuffetbereich räumlich viel zu klein, Gedecke müssen selbst aufgetragen werden und abgeräumt werden, deshalb waren wir in dem 3 W8chen nur 2x dort, Zufahrt zum Hotel äusserst steil ....alles in allem sollte man wissem , dass das Haus 2 Sterne hat und sich damit abfinden .... wir kommen augrund dieser Tatsachen nicht wieder .

We have just returned from two wonderful weeks at the Troulis Aparthotel. We had a one bedroom apartment with a spectacular sea view (No.37) From the moment we arrived we were made to feel most welcome and throughout our stay every member of the reception staff were cheerful and helpful in answering any questions and had good recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The apartment had everything we needed with a very comfy bed and was cleaned daily with towels and sheets changed every three days. The pools although small were a nice temperature and we never struggled to find a sun bed. A huge shout out to the catering staff who provided a wonderful breakfast every morning. We had read previous reviews of people saying they lacked variety but considering we were there for two weeks we were highly impressed with both the variety and the quality of the food. There are so many wonderful restaurants within walking distance, one of our favourites being only one minutes walk away. The Troulis is in an ideal position between the two bays with plenty of restaurants on either side. However, this would not be an ideal location for anybody with mobility issues because of the steep hills and plentiful steps. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it.

arrived in a heatwave at midnight, The premises need a number on the door as the rest of the premises nearby are local The interior walls were insanely hot and needed 3 hours of air conditioning before we could sleep. Welcome pack with water food and Raki was nice. Unfortunately I found three leech like worms in the bedroom which further inhibited sleep, although the beds were comfortable. The other thing of mention was that the staircase has no rail and could be dangerous. Premises are near the airport and very handy for late flights.
