Sehr nette Gastgeber und saubere moderne Unterkunft. Via Etna fußläufig erreichbar. Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Minibar mit gratis Getränken.

Super clean and beautiful design, host had a nice and warm welcoming, he was so nice and even gave his parking spot to me. Everything in the fridge was free and he waive the city tax as a favor. I will use this hotel again if come to Catania.

This was a lovely small hotel/b&b. We had a warm greeting. The room was spacious and had what we needed. The breakfast terrace was lovely. The buffet was nice and I liked that I could help myself to coffee. My only negative wasn’t really the hotel’s fault - Expedia flagged it as including free parking which was a big factor in choosing it. Unfortunately the free parking was on the street and not belonging to hotel. We did find some fairly nearby on arrival and right outside the hotel by the evening. So it wasn’t really a problem just misleading of Expedia’s site. Very happy to recommend this as a good choice for exploring Catania.

Huge double room with extra single bed. 2 window/ balconies. Lovely tile room and very nice bedding and furnishings. Bathroom shower spacious and good flow and hot water. Nice breakfast room with seating on sunny terrace as well . Good food. Very quiet location on a piazza. Short 6 min walk to Duomo square with many restaurants. Given map with main sites explained by the owner with some restaurants recommended which were really good and reasonable. All historic area in Catania walking distance. Went to Museum of Allied Landing WW2 which was very good. Enjoyed our 3 days in Catania. It’s a very lovely city and markets interesting too.

Emanuele è stato molto cortese e preciso nelle indicazioni, rendendo il check-in autonomo semplice e perfetto. La struttura si trova in una posizione comodissima, a pochi minuti a piedi da Piazza Duomo e Via Etnea. Parcheggio convenzionato a circa 3 minuti di distanza, molto comodo. La camera era spaziosa, pulita e ben curata, con bevande gratuite nel frigobar. L’unico piccolo neo, per gusto personale, è stato il materasso un po’ troppo morbido. Colazione buona, fatta sulla terrazza con vista su piazza Cutelli Nel complesso, una struttura che consiglio vivamente. Se dovessi tornare a Catania, sceglierei sicuramente di nuovo questo alloggio!

Tolle Lage, mitten im Leben und trotzdem ruhig. Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf den Platz - super. Obwohl wir Samstagabend angekommen sind hat Emanuele alles unternommen, um uns einen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus zu verschaffen - Vielen Dank!

L'hébergement est bien placé, accessible très facilement en bus depuis l'aéroport, environ 5minutes à pieds du centre ville. La terrasse est au soleil des le matin, ce qui est très agréable pour le petit déjeuner. La chambre est très spacieuse, confortable et calme. Il y a un service de nettoyage tous les jours. Le personnel est génial, très agréable, à disposition, et joyeux. On obtient de très bon conseil sur les transports a prendre (bus ou train, le lieu...) les bons restaurants de la ville avec leurs emplacements, et sur les excursion que l'on avait réservé (etna...) Je conseille vraiment ce lieu.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Sciara Larmisi and would 100% recommend! The host was fantastic, excellent communication prior to arrival with clear details on how to check in out of hours, breakfast was lovely and if the weather allows, absolutely make sure you enjoy it on the rooftop terrace! The B&B is spotlessly clean and staff and room was very comfortable. Location is excellent too, within 1 minute walk to bus stops for the airport shuttle and main square and via Etnea are only a short walk away too.

Hébergement plus que parfait à 5 minutes à pied du vieux Catania. Emmanuel nous accueilli en avance, nous a conseillé plein d’endroits pour le lunch. Chambre très grande, propre et très bien décoré. Plein de petites attentions dans la chambre. Honnêtement vous pouvez réserver sans crainte. Seul petit bémol, la climatisation n’est pas très efficace.

Great location for visiting Catania however not without its faults. Hosts were pleasant, the room was spacious and clean..however the room had ants crawling all over in the bathroom, there was no safe, no glasses for water or soft drinks, the towels weren’t changed at all on a 4 night stay which I’ve never come across before, the breakfast was basic and you had to be up early enough before it was cleared out by other guests. I was also randomly asked for our key on the last day as it was asserted I wasn’t a guest which was a bit random. Also the buzzer on the intercom doesn’t make a noise so you’ve no idea if you’ve pressed it correctly. Would stay again but with the high scoring reviews expected more. 7/10

Bon hôtel, proche centre ville Catane. Propriétaire très serviable offrant la possibilité de laisser les bagages le jour du départ ainsi que l’accès aux communs. Navette pour l’aéroport juste à côté. Un peu bruyant le soir car au bord d’une rue avec de la circulation. Chambres spacieuses.

Sehr netter Vermieter. Hilfsbereit und freundlich. Zimmer sind recht gross, Bäder modern. Frühstücksraum und-terasse sehr gemütlich. Parkplätze vor dem Haus kostenfrei. Sehr gute Busanbindung zum Flughafen. Zentrale fußläufige Lage zu den Hotspots in Catania. Im Grunde ist die Lautstärke das Manko. Trotz gut gedämmter Fenster hört man die befahrene Straße am Haus. Wir haben auch den Kühlschrank im Zimmer gehört und in der Nacht als störend empfunden. Trotzdem natürlich gut, dass es ihn gibt.

Excellent communication with staff - room was spacious & clean, good water pressure in shower and bed extremely comfortable. The location was maybe a 10 min walk to Via Etnea and the main duomo square - easy walk from Alibus stop (though not with luggage but that’s my fault!) and the breakfast provided with the lovely terrace was wonderful

Very large apartment style rooms, remodeled inside think IKEA , contemporary style, very very clean, staff very helpful, in old town where restaurants thrive and pedestrian style shopping district, great location to walk Catania and check out the sights!

Excellent location, clean room, very responsive management team. Clear instructions to check in via WhatsApp. Breakfast was excellent (despite not having a large choice). Great communication via WhatsApp regarding any queries. We stayed in a 3rd floor apartment, Cariddi (family of 4). Had a sofa bed, double and queen sized bed with a kitchen and 2 bathrooms (a smaller one upstairs - limited space in the shower, but can be used if needed. It was noisy on Saturday night with honking cars, but rest of the nights were ok.

Great B&B in downtown Catania within walking distance to main piazza. Was greeted by Manuele who was cheerful and gracious. The room was spacious and clean with double exposure to the park and street and triple pane windows (with bug screens!!!!) making the room quiet. The crisp bedding was 5 star quality. The shower was the best we had during our 30 day stay in Sicily. We were not able to stay for breakfast because of an early flight but instead was given a voucher for a delightful patisserie/bar a block away which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!

This was incredible value for money, and a lovely place in a central location. The room was basically a beautifully furnished apartment, with a bedroom, living room and kitchinette with balcony, two bathrooms and a wardrobe. A lot more than we had expected! They'd thought of everything, including an iron, spare blankets, a fan, pots and pans, coffee machine, some free soft drinks and a washing line for laundry drying. Emanuele was very helpful communicating with us in advance to arrange arrival times, and Giuseppe was a great host when we arrived and he showed us around. Wonderful breakfast (with an outdoor terrace for when it's warm). The only slight negative was that the street was a bit noisy - but that's Catania really and if you want to stay somewhere central then of course there will be street noise.

Emanuele was very helpful communicating with us in advance to arrange arrival times, and Giuseppe was a great host when we arrived and he showed us around. Wonderful breakfast (with an outdoor terrace for when it's warm). The only slight negative was that the street was a bit noisy - but that's Catania really and if you want to stay somewhere central then of course there will be street noise.

Sehr zentral und innerhalb einiger Minuten ist das Zentrum erreichbar! In der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt es sehr leckere Bäckereien und Pasticceria. Man kommt sehr einfach mit dem Alibus vom Flughafen in die Nähe der Unterkunft und auch retour kann man gleich in der Nähe von der Unterkunft den Bus zum Flughafen nehmen. Emanuele ist sehr bemüht den Gästen zu helfen, wir haben viele hilfreiche Tipps bekommen (Lokale, Restaurants) auch bzgl einer Etna Wanderung die er für uns organisiert hat. Es war ein sehr toller Aufenthalt und ich würde wieder bei meinem nächsten Besuch das Sciara Larmisi wählen (leider keine deutschen Fernsehsender vorhanden, aber ein gutes Buch tut es auch).

Emanuele è stato molto cortese e preciso nelle indicazioni, rendendo il check-in autonomo semplice e perfetto. La struttura si trova in una posizione comodissima, a pochi minuti a piedi da Piazza Duomo e Via Etnea. Parcheggio convenzionato a circa 3 minuti di distanza, molto comodo. La camera era spaziosa, pulita e ben curata, con bevande gratuite nel frigobar. L’unico piccolo neo, per gusto personale, è stato il materasso un po’ troppo morbido. Colazione buona, fatta sulla terrazza con vista su piazza Cutelli Nel complesso, una struttura che consiglio vivamente. Se dovessi tornare a Catania, sceglierei sicuramente di nuovo questo alloggio!

I stayed there for one night and throughly enjoyed the b&b and the area. Much to my surprise, my room was almost cleaned when I got there (earlier than check-in) and the host offered me coffee while I waited. Great staff and cute room! I would definitely return.

Giuseppe was very helpful at check-in. Staff helped us get a parking spot at night. Very good breakfast in the morning. We were able to leave our luggage there the morning we checked out. Very good location, walking distance to major sites.

This place is a hidden gem! We were met by Emanuele who was very accommodating as our flight plans were disrupted and our arrival delayed. The room was more like an apartment and was extremely well equipped and very lovely. He had prosecco and soft drinks cooling in the refrigerator, as well as some light snacks and coffee for the following morning. He gave us restaurant recommendations that did not disappoint! The breakfast the next day was delicious and provided many options, including someone to make us cappuccino. There is a charming outdoor balcony overlooking the little square outside. We could see the ocean from the balcony off of our room. The hotel was easy to access via a bus or taxi from the airport. I wish we could have stayed longer-everything was wonderful! Highly recommend.

Emmanuel and Giuseppe were wonderful house at the bed-and-breakfast. They helped answer any question you might have the morning breakfast was terrific. The room was fixed up really nice. I would recommend this to anyone going to Catania.

The welcome to the hotel was warm and especially informative. We found all staff friendly and helpful. Locating the hotel was relatively easy and it is only a 5 minute walk from one of the airport bus stops. Buffet breakfast on the hotel verandah was enjoyable. The room was large enough and the bathroom was clean and well-appointed. It was an easy 6-7 minute walk to the centre of town and scores of restaurants and cafes.

The host was fantastic, excellent communication prior to arrival with clear details on how to check in out of hours, breakfast was lovely and if the weather allows, absolutely make sure you enjoy it on the rooftop terrace! The location was maybe a 10 min walk to Via Etnea and the main duomo square - easy walk from Alibus stop (though not with luggage but that’s my fault!) and the breakfast provided with the lovely terrace was wonderful

This was a lovely small hotel/b&b. We had a warm greeting. The room was spacious and had what we needed. The breakfast terrace was lovely. The buffet was nice and I liked that I could help myself to coffee. My only negative wasn’t really the hotel’s fault - Expedia flagged it as including free parking which was a big factor in choosing it. Unfortunately the free parking was on the street and not belonging to hotel. We did find some fairly nearby on arrival and right outside the hotel by the evening. So it wasn’t really a problem just misleading of Expedia’s site. Very happy to recommend this as a good choice for exploring Catania.

Excellent location, clean room, very responsive management team. Clear instructions to check in via WhatsApp. Breakfast was excellent (despite not having a large choice). Great communication via WhatsApp regarding any queries. We stayed in a 3rd floor apartment, Cariddi (family of 4). Had a sofa bed, double and queen sized bed with a kitchen and 2 bathrooms (a smaller one upstairs - limited space in the shower, but can be used if needed. It was noisy on Saturday night with honking cars, but rest of the nights were ok.

Great location for visiting Catania however not without its faults. Hosts were pleasant, the room was spacious and clean..however the room had ants crawling all over in the bathroom, there was no safe, no glasses for water or soft drinks, the towels weren’t changed at all on a 4 night stay which I’ve never come across before, the breakfast was basic and you had to be up early enough before it was cleared out by other guests. I was also randomly asked for our key on the last day as it was asserted I wasn’t a guest which was a bit random. Also the buzzer on the intercom doesn’t make a noise so you’ve no idea if you’ve pressed it correctly. Would stay again but with the high scoring reviews expected more. 7/10

We really enjoyed our stay here. The unit was spacious, with a full living room area, leading to a nicely appointed kitchen. Upstairs there was a larger bedroom with a double Bed, as well as an extra bedroom with a single, and then there was a bathroom downstairs. Both bathrooms had showers. The unit was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the location as it was about a 10 minute walk to the historic city Center, and located on Just Boulevard (we could hear a small amount, outsidestreet noise in the unit, but ear plugs took care of that). There was one challenge, which was some construction being down in front of the building, but the manager Emanuele went above and beyond to help smooth the way, met us at The street, helped us with parking, and gave us lots of great tips. He even scheduled our taxi for the next morning, which was extremely early. Is friendly, and helped make sure that our stay was very smooth and easy.
